Even though Ajax was confident in invading the other regions of the Floating Island in his current condition, he was not interested in it.

In the Floating Island, the ruler of each region has the privilege of having a spirit of the Floating Island that informs the rulers about the events and other things happening in the Floating Island.
Even though each ruler has a spirit of the Floating Island, in reality, there is only one spirit of the Floating Island, and all the spirits these rulers have could be considered clones or a part of the main spirit.
Moreover, as the spirit of the Floating Island, it knows everything that is happening there, and thus, the rulers could get to know everything from their personalized spirit of the Floating Island. Conditions apply.
"What? Aveline lost?"
The rulers of the three regions were shocked to hear that, and they started asking for more details about the fight.

It was because reviving skills are not normal and can be seen everywhere and whenever they want. And those who have such skills should not be messed with.
'It's good that the new ruler didn't use his rulership to challenge Aveline; otherwise, we would still be clueless about him.'
Even though they were shocked at Ajax's abilities, they were happy to get the information about Ajax.
When an official duel between the rulers happens, other than the result of the official duel, nothing about the rulers' information would be revealed.
Not only did Ajax physically enter the Fire Region of the Floating Island and even get his prowess suppressed, but he also won against Aveline, which shows he was very powerful.
'If he challenges us for an official duel, then I don't think I can win against him.'

All the rulers on the Floating Island have more or less strength, similar to Aveline.
There might be some rulers with more trump cards; however, they could guess Ajax didn't use his full strength to kill Aveline.
Since Ajax could kill Aveline very easily despite having the regional restriction on him, if they challenged the rulers, it would be a piece of cake for Ajax to defeat them because there would be no restrictions in an official duel.
Also, Ajax could issue an official challenge to any of them; however, they could not do the same to them because Ajax had just finished a battle and became a ruler of a new region.
So, they were all tense because if Ajax issued a challenge right now, they were not ready.
'Let's hurry up and make preparations.'
'I think I should surrender before he could issue a challenge.'
'I am not confident in defeating Aveline, and since the new ruler could defeat Aveline easily, he could do the same to me whether it was an official duel or an unofficial duel.'
Except for one ruler, the two other rulers thought it was better to surrender to this new ruler named Ajax before he could issue them the challenge.
Once the challenge was issued, one of the rulers had to die, and since they were not confident in defeating Aveline, they were not confident in defeating Ajax either.
Hence, they decided to surrender.

The two rulers sat in their luxurious villas and kept their egos and pride aside before making that decision.
Of course, the two rulers were making independent decisions and were completely unaware of each other's decisions.
"Spirit, I want to surrender to the new ruler of the Fire and Metal Region. Can you ask him whether he wants to accept me?"
Once they made their decisions, these two rulers didn't waste any time as they asked the Spirit of the Floating Island to convey their message to Ajax.

Just like it asked Ajax multiple times regarding his physical attack on the Fire Region, the Spirit of the Floating Island did the same thing to the two rulers who wanted to surrender to Ajax.

As the oldest rulers of the Floating Island, they had spent a lot of time with the Spirit of the Floating Island and knew about its behaviour.
So, they didn't think much about it and seriously nodded their heads.
'I hope he accepts our surrender and lets us become his subordinates.'
From the Spirit of the Floating Island, they learned that Aveline was willing to surrender to Ajax; however, Ajax didn't accept his surrender and killed Aveline and all the inhabitants of the Fire Region.
They didn't want the same thing to happen to them or their inhabitants and hoped Ajax would accept their surrender.
As for the third ruler, he was busy making preparations in case Ajax issued a challenge to him.
