Chapter 1889 Ajax versus Aveline (2)
As the oldest ruler of the Floating Island, Aveline had long dreamt of having another region under his control and he indirectly tried to take the other regions; however, the rulers of the other regions were not easy to deal with.

Thus, Aveline changed his target from the Metal Region to the Water Region which was next to the Fire Region and the next weakest region in the Floating Island.
From then, the enmity between the Fire Region and the Water Region has begun.
However, to Aveline's surprise, his region was being invaded by the new ruler and soon, his greedy nature surfaced as he decided to go all out against the new ruler and get his region first.
'With another region under my control, I can get more resources and subordinates to recruit. With new subordinates, I can increase my army and kill those blood-sucking monsters from the Water Region.'
Just thinking about it made Aveline excited.
"Didn't you recognize me?"
Ajax didn't bother to answer Aveline's question; instead, he asked Aveline a question.
"Recognize you? Who are you?"
Aveline raised his brows hearing Ajax's words and tried to figure out what Ajax meant by those words.

"It doesn't matter whether you killed my son or not, today, I am going to kill you and take your Metal Region."
Compared to his son who was dead 50 years later, Aveline gave more importance to his goal of conquering another region in the Floating Island.
Thus, he was also ready to fight Ajax.
"Shall we fight one versus one or should we let our armies fight first?"

Aveline didn't think much as he suggested their armies fight.

"You heard him. What are you waiting for? Show your strength and kill his entire army of Contracted Spirit Beasts and the Elemental Spirits."

'Raweth and Sparrow, you lead the Contracted Spirit Beasts except for Twilight.'

On the other hand, Ajax was calm but he was silently giving commands to his Contracted Spirit Beasts to follow Raweth and Sparrow except for Twilight.
As for Twilight, he was given full permission to go all out today.

All the contracted spirit beasts nodded their heads before Raweth and Sparrow took the lead to fight the incoming Aveline's army.
