Cedric sat behind his desk as he reviewed the latest reports on Mor Co. He smiled as he noticed that the sales were doing better, they were finally able to get enough supplies thanks to Wu Jun.

"You know, even if Guan Ming hates Wu Jun, I have to hand it to the guy, he helped us out of a tight spot." Cedric said as he exited the last report on Mor Co.

"Do you think he will still pull something off to help Lucius Ting?" Ian asked Cedric as he handed over a pile of documents that needed Cedric's signature.

"I'm not sure." Cedric said with a frown. "Can you send Dave in after you? I want him to investigate something."

"Sure." Ian said with a nod as he patiently waited for Cedric to finish signing all of the documents that he needed.

"I hate this part of the job." Cedric grumbled as he massaged his hand.

"It used to be your favorite." Ian said with a chuckle as he watched Cedric sign the last few documents on the pile.

"Well as time goes on I start to hate this part of the job." Cedric complained as he signed the last piece of paper and placed his pen down on the desk.

"Well your favorite part comes next, the investigation." Ian teased as he took the documents from Cedric's desk and bolted out of the office.

Cedric couldn't help but laugh at his friend. He knew that Ian's company was now back on track and that he had temporarily left it with his sister Sam, while he helped Cedric.

Cedric had made it a point to regularly send a project or two to the Lim Corporation's sights. Ian had been by his side since they were both employees. While it was true that Ian had things to gain from the Reyes Group, being as loyal as he was went above and beyond what was agreed on.

Even Camilla had moved on from being Cedric's assistant as she took on the role as Vice President in Mor Co.

"Ian said you wanted to see me?" Dave said as he entered the room.

"Yeah, I need you to investigate something. Or at least try to get as much information as you can." Cedric told Dave as the assistant took out a pen and notebook to jot down what Cedric was about to say.

"I am not one hundred percent convinced that Wu Jun is here to help me, nor am I convinced that he and Lucius Ting are truly enemies." Cedric told Dave. "I know we've looked into it and I asked my friend, but things are not adding up. I want you to look into it."

Dave nodded as he wrote down Cedric's instructions.

"If you get into any trouble I want you to tell me immediately." Cedric said in a stern tone. "Don't wait, don't hesitate. We bump into a problem I need to know."

"Yes boss." Dave said as he acknowledged Cedric's instructions.

"You may go." Cedric told Dave.

"Cedric, there is something else I think we need to mention." Dave said. Cedric could hear the hesitation in his voice. Clearly he had bad news.

"It's about Fernando Benitez and the records you had us investigate." Dave told Cedric.

"And?" Cedric asked as he leaned forward and listened to what Dave had to say.

"We spoke to Alexi, he said he checked his father's files and it was indeed the president that had wiped Fernado from all government documents. That's why there were things we just couldn't find out about him." Dave said with a frown. "No matter how much resources we pull we can't match the presidents."

"All secrets have to come out some time." Cedric said with a sigh as he shook his head. "Any progress on the letters? Any clues as to what happened to Fernando or Andrew Chan after they vanished?"

"Actually, we found something odd." Dave told Cedric.

"What is it?" Cedric asked a bit impatiently.

"Fernando never mentioned Andrew's death, but he did mention handing the child over to safety." Dave revealed. "Mae and Mien will talk to their mom tonight to see if she can remember anything about that time. We hope it will hold more clues."

Cedric nodded as he acknowledged this new piece of information.

He couldn't help but wonder where was it safe enough to hand Andrew Chan over? And where could the man be now if he had survived.

"Thank you, can you ask John to bring my car around, there is someone I need to visit." Cedric said as he gathered his thoughts and packed his things up.

"Yes, sir." Dave said as he left the room.

All of Cedric's assistants had learned that there were things that Cedric did not want them helping with, one of which was packing up his things and cleaning his office.

"Ian!" Cedric called out as he placed his laptop, pen, and notebook in his bag.

"Yeah?" Ian asked as he peeked into the office.

"Is Nicole in the hospital today?" Cedric asked.

If he remembered correctly today was board meeting day and it should be about to end.

"Yeah, she has meetings. Miguel is there too. Why? Do you need something from them?" Ian asked as he cocked his head to the side.

"I'll go pay them a visit." Cedric announced as he walked to the door.

"Want me to come?" Ian asked as he followed Cedric.

"Take the rest of the day off, Ian." Cedric said with a sigh. "I know you need to check up on Lin Corp."

"You sure?" Ian asked as he considered tagging along with Cedric.

"Yeah, I'll bring Mae with me. I just need to talk to the Chans about something." Cedric told Ian as they passed by the assistant's offices.

"Mae!" Cedric called out. "You're coming with me to Saints."

Within the next two minutes, Mae met Cedric and Ian along the hallway, ready to leave.

"Can you call Eric to meet us at Saints too?" Cedric asked Ian.

Ian nodded as he took out his phone and made the call.

"We won't be coming back." Cedric told Mae who simply nodded in reply.

He knew that Mae would probably just ask Dave to bring her things home. Cedric was pretty sure that they just slept in one room at this point.

"Cedric, what will you be talking to them about?" Ian asked.

"I need to know who would want to kill Andrew Chan and why.." Cedric said as he turned and left.
