In front of Arthurious, there was a strange Hectarious. His brother had suddenly changed for the worst, as a monstrous squid was taking over his head, his entire body was changing and mutating, as tentacles grew over his entire body grotesquely. Arthurious mother looked at the monstrous being that was once her stepson, as she began to wonder where everything went so wrong…
Well, since she became her husband's concubine that Hectarious was already wicked, his mother had taught him to be someone that didn't had any shame in pointing out the flaws and weakness of others, and that he had to be "brave" or well, an asshole to show off he was strong unlike those that were weak and allowed others to abuse them. She taught him that he should rather be the one to abuse than the abused.
Over time, he grew corrupt, abusing his position to use others and discriminate even his own siblings, abusing Arthurious the most as he was the youngest, foolish, and most ignorant of them all. Someone he could use to feel better with himself, seeing others more miserable than him always made him feel better. It always made him think "I am so glad I am better than them", further inflating his ego.
But after losing miserably against Arthurious, the poor Hectarious had his own dreams and pride completely shattered, having attempted to fight Arthurious only to get beaten by Blackie, it was indeed rather tragic for the egocentric and selfish young man.
He lost the respect of the people, and they were able to finally see his true colors as a corrupt noble, nobody would ever support such a man to become the next Emperor. Meanwhile, the prince Arthurious gained the people's trust.
His ego was shattered, and as he was imprisoned inside the arena's dungeon for a bit, he continued his self-loathing while his hatred for Arthurious continued to grow… and while muttering in anger, a strange darkness emerged within the door of the room he was confined, reaching him and then… parasitizing him.
It filled him with strength like he had never felt before. He didn't even need any more monsters to help or anything, with just his own strength and hatred, he would be able to finally get what he wanted!
He rushed outside, breaking the door, and finding the hated brother, Arthurious. His entire body continued to mutate into a monstrous creature, but Hectarious felt nice, it felt good to him, it felt "just right" as if he had always been a grotesque monster deep down…
"This strength… I don't need any stupid monsters anymore, no more useless beasts that cannot even win a fight! I have my own strength now! This is amusing, brilliant, even!!!" Laughed Hectarious, as his body continued to grow strangely muscular as more small and large tentacles popped out of his body, waving around rather ominously.
"Hectarious, you're being parasitized by something in your head! T-This is not you! Snap out of it, brother!!!" Cried Arthurious.
<br/>"No… There is nothing wrong with me! You're the wrong here… You and your stupid… mother… I will kill you and your mother here… Hahaha! I HAD TO JUST KILL YOU! Like that, you won't be in my way to the throne!!!"
Hectarious began to groan monstrously as he suddenly darted towards Arthurious at a fast speed. Blackie didn't allowed him to get near him so easily, as he unleashed a barrage of black thunder.
SPAARK!
CLASH!
The black thunderbolt hit Hectarious directly, as he was electrified! The odor of burnt flesh filled the room, as Arthurious and his mother looked at the grilled Hectarious.
"W-Well, that was… quite fast." Said his mother.
"Mother, you better go away while you can. I need to go back to Sir Frank and Miriam." Said Arthurious.
"Eh?! But its dangerous, my son! It will be bad if you go and…" Said his mother. But she was stopped by Arthurious.
"Mother… Miriam is someone very important to me… Blackie will protect me…" Said Arthurious. His eyes were filled with conviction like his mother had never seen before in her life, so strong was his conviction that she ended standing still and in silence as she heard him speak… She understood his feelings, and realized he seemed to love that cheerful and adorable girl.
"My son… You've grown… So much without me realizing it." Sighed his mother, she called her monster pets and jumped out of Blackie.
"Then I'll go!" She said. "Take care…" She hugged her son and kissed him, and then ran away with the rest of the people.
Arthurious sighed in relief, having his mother in such a dangerous place was really worrying him to death, but now that it was done, he would be able to go check on Miriam and Frank-
However, Hectarious was not done yet.
"Brotheeeeeerrrr…"
The eerie voice of Hectarious, distorted as if he had begun to turn into something monstrous and strange continued to resonate across the room… Arthurious looked down into the beast in front of him, his brother disfigured body was now melting away and fusing with the creature parasitizing his head, turning into an aberrant mass of fleshy tentacles and eyes…
Was this… his brother Hectarious anymore?
"Brother… Why? What have you done…" Muttered Arthurious.
"What have I… done?" Asked Hectarious. "I've been only trying to become the next Emperor this entire time… but you… YOU KEEP GETTING IN THE WAAAAAY!"
CLAAAAASSSHH!!!
Hectarious hit the ground below Blackie with his giant tentacles, lifting it up only for more of his tentacles to reach Arthurious and Blackie at incredible speed. Attempting to wrap his tentacles around them, Hectarious moved his monstrous limbs skillfully, only for the black lightning of Blackie to burn through them constantly.
SPAAARK!
"GRAAAAH!"
Hectarious ignored the agony of having his limbs burned by lightning, as he continued to regrow new ones while discarding the burnt ones, his eyes continued to cry in pain but his entire body continued to become more and more amorphous… Arthurious felt sad for the fate his brother was going through, but he had to end this.
