Giving a wry smile, Ryan walked over to the portal, "Good work."

After four steps, it was already clear that the place he was in wasn't going to be very welcoming. The area he was in resembled a forest of elves, with gigantic trees reaching up to the sky. The clouds were pierced by those trunks that seemed to never stop growing.
"This place is certainly a long way from Sunset village," he thought.

Using his Demon Form, Ryan jumped between the logs. His Demon Sight was detecting some creature in the treetops, "So you're the boss," he said out loud in surprise.
There was a gigantic reddish gorilla jumping up and down. The creature was easily the height of a giant, standing at least five meters tall. Its arms were extremely muscular, all its skin was gray while its fur glowed a fiery red.
With a flick of his sword, Ryan launched a slash of black flames towards the creature. Before the attack could even get away from the conjurer, the gorilla defended itself with a fireball.
The impact of the two attacks created an explosion of black flames that flew throughout the forest, and with a flick of his left hand he deactivated the spread of the flames. "You're going to be a bit more of a challenge than I thought," he said, sighing, Ryan began to concentrate on the flow of energy from his sword.

A gigantic red sphere was launched towards him, with his Demon Sight he recognized the core of the attack with ease. Pointing the crystal, the sword sucked in all the energy that had been released.
Seconds later, the weapon began to glow an intense red. Now the vampire sword had channeled the attack. Moving the blade as he jumped from side to side, Ryan was firing several fireballs at an astonishing speed.
"That's almost a machine gun," he said, as he watched the gorilla's arms burn with those bullets.
