Chapter 56: Yui Glasses
It was the start of the week.
Yui went to school a little earlier than usual, and, after exchanging greetings with her classmates, she returned to her seat and waited for Yuuki.
Opening her textbook and test study guides, she spread them out on top of her desk. However, instead of studying, she kept glancing at the doorway, waiting for her moment.

She grabbed the edge of the study guide and Yuuki tried to pull it down quickly.
He calmly waved away her hand and said, “Don’t tear it.”
“Well if you aren’t sure then that’s that. Let’s ask Rin then.”
“You can’t do that!”

“I-in the first place, Rin-chan is my comrade. How many times do you think I had to fight before I got Rin to join me?”

As Yui turned towards the faint voice, Rin was standing behind the seat like a spirit.
Yui almost fell out of her chair. Even Yuuki was a little surprised by her.
“Why is Rin-chan suddenly here?! D-Do you need something?”
“Can I not help?”
“Don’t listen over here!”
For some reason, Yuuki was quick to interject from the side.
Rin seemed to be uncomfortable. Yui was sure the two were up to something.
Unless Yui came, Rin never came.

Rin laughed unnaturally.

She tilted her head for a moment, completely forgetting that she was wearing her own glasses.
“Yes, yes. It’s just that my eyesight is bad and I’m sitting in the last row.”
“I think I’ll… wear my glasses too.”

As she was moving her fingers to and away from Rin, who was confused, Yuuki came in between the two with a slightly dismayed face.
