Chapter 90: Ophis's Deal and Absorbing Bloodlines

After the Ouroboros Dragon appeared and ate candies while telling her story about the Stupid Red or the Great Red, one of the strongest beings in the Highschool DxD. Huo Yuhao couldn't help but chuckle inside because she was more uncomplicated than he expected.
"So, someone is taking away your home?" Huo Yuhao asked the small Dragon God beside him. She was chewing her candy and nodded a little. "Then, Why don't you fight this so-called stupid red?"
Ophis stopped for a moment like she was in deep thought and answered, "This is delicious."
"Hmm??"
Huo Yuhao was speechless because Ophis ignored his question because her mind and senses focused on the Heart-Calming Candy's taste. And he can't blame her because he makes the candy taste too good for someone who has never tried it.
After finishing one candy, Ophis nodded and said, "Baka red is strong. Our strengths are roughly equal, but I always lose for some reason."
"I need some aid..."
"And that's why you became the leader of Khaos Brigade?" Huo Yuhao tried to pat her head, which was surprisingly successful because Ophis didn't show any aggression.
Like a clueless but curious girl, Ophis glanced at Huo Yuhao with a confused gaze and brushed her head against his palm a few times to ensure something.
"Weird." She said flatly.
"Something about you is weird, Unknown Dragon God."
"Your presence is strangely comforting."

"Hehe, I'm quite special." Huo Yuhao answered with a small laugh. "Also, you can call me by my name or nickname like Yuhao, Ophis."
The Ouroboros Dragon blinked and returned, "Okay. Yuhao, Can you give me more candy?"
Huo Yuhao glanced down at the bowl where at least 20 Heart-Calming Candies were kept and smiled because Ophis ate them all in a few minutes. He required 10.000 years' worth of ingredients to make them, but she consumed them like no tomorrow.
"Ophis, what about a deal?" He suddenly proposed.
"I'll help you fight Great Red away from the Dimensional Gap, and you'll help me conquer this world. How about that? Of course, you can add another condition to fit your liking."
"Sweets." Ophis immediately grabbed the corner of Huo Yuhao's clothes. "I want more sweets, like this candy."
Huo Yuhao facepalmed because Ophis was so easy to deal with compared to others he had met. And her desire to return home is so pure. "Only that?" He asked, to which the Ouroboros Dragon responded with a nod.
"Only sweets and help." Ophis licked her fingers, relishing the taste left behind by the melting Heart-Calming Candy. She looked at Huo Yuhao with a hopeful gaze, which made the blue-haired young man chuckle in defeat. Something about her dull tone and curious expression is amusing to Huo Yuhao. And this same being was feared by many people in this world.
"Then, I'll also add another condition. Is that okay?" He patted Ophis's head again.
"Sure." Ophis was about to give Huo Yuhao her snake, but since he wanted something else. She would gladly trade it for some candies.
"Yuhao..."

A few hours passed, and Ophis returned to Khaos Brigade with a small pouch with an enchanted chain around her waist. It's a spatial item with countless sweet medicines inside it, which was part of her agreement with Huo Yuhao.
"Ophis, you finally returned." Someone suddenly called her.
It was a handsome young man with short black hair and blue eyes. He wears a unique combination of a Japanese school uniform (more specifically, the gakuran-type worn by Japanese schoolboys in the fall) and ancient Chinese robe attire tied on his waist like a jacket. His name is Cao Cao, and he is part of the group leaders within the Khaos Brigade.
"Hmm, what's that pouch?"
"Why do you want to know, human?" Ophis frowned indifferently and clutched the pouch because this was her greatest treasure. She won't share her candy with anyone else.
Cao Cao looked at Ophis and sighed inside because even when getting some of her power stolen, the Ouroboros Dragon's presence was no joke.
"Nothing, I'm just curious." He replied naturally.
Ophis ignored Cao Cao and walked past him with a candy in her mouth. Huo Yuhao told her never to trust these people because they were useless against Great Red. She was confused but decided to trust Huo Yuhao more because of sweets. Cao Cao and other group leaders would open their mouths in disbelief upon learning this.
"Haa... We only have to wait until everything is ready." Cao Cao turned around and looked at Ophis with a complicated gaze.
Meanwhile, in Dragon Nest's compound, Huo Yuhao stayed inside his sealed room and looked at several vials Eas had collected in the Great War.

Eluxia frowned a little and focused on the Biblical God, Seraphs, and Fallen Angel's blood. They possessed rich amounts of Light Energy, whether pure or not. The only difference between them was that Biblical God's blood is the origin and has more potency with a hint of divinity.
"Are you going to absorb all of them?" She asked Huo Yuhao.
Huo Yuhao smiled and answered, "Yes. Even though the effect was unknown, Ancient Human's adaptability should be able to help me with fusing the blood and enhancing them later."
"I might have to create another spiral helix in my Blood Core, considering the mix of all Devils' blood would cause imbalance for War Beast. It also applies to Biblical, Seraphs, and Fallen's Angel's blood."
"As for Ophis, Ddraig, and Albion... I believe Naga's Bloodline is strong enough to absorb them all."
"Everything seemed alright..." Eluxia thought about something for a moment. "Do you need help?"
"Later. Thanks for asking, Eluxia." He replied while closing his eyes. "For now, I have to focus on something else."
Tian Meng and Bing Di's instincts screamed in amazement as the room filled with Beastly Aura. Huo Yuhao transformed into War Beast form and used Ruler Authority to condense the blood he collected into four.

Huo Yuhao felt an explosion inside his Blood Core and noticed the outer layer, which actually was Ancient Human's innate adaptability, being attacked by Biblical God's Blood. He gasped for air and trembled violently for a few minutes.
"Fuck..." He cursed in annoyance, gritting his teeth while waiting for Ancient Humans to absorb Biblical God's Blood.

He used Light Manipulation to create a reflective mirror and saw his new appearance. Nothing changes except a few strands of his blue hair become golden, which was rather underwhelming.
"What did I even expect?"
[Fusing...] Evo suddenly said.
Huo Yuhao felt another enormous wave of energy from Naga's Bloodline and used Universal Breathing Technique to control his body flow. His draconic blood was thicker than True Dragon's Blood, allowing him to absorb them smoothly.

"What a paradox." He chuckled because his strength increased slightly, but something was changing extensively inside his Spirit Core. The Golden Sun rotated faster than before and generated more energy than before.
Huo Yuhao stared at True Devil's Blood and absorbed it, creating another spiral helix inside Blood Core. He felt an unknown link of power and demonic energy that flared like a flood. Some strands of his also become white.
