Chapter 85: Vali's Challenge

Years ago.
Three factions of Gods with seraphs, four great satans with 72 devils pillars, and fallen angels wage the Great War against each other. They fought for several days and nights until Heavenly Dragons, Red Dragon Emperor, and White Dragon Emperor entered the war and inflicted massive damage on all of them.

Some people said he was a Counter Force that appeared to stop the Great War, but no one argued his insane feat of defeating three factions with unknown abilities.
Huo Yuhao, or the Blue-Eyed Dragon God, is a terrifying being with the power to destroy the world. He could manifest his draconic will and summon an enormous dragon akin to a mountain. With a purple flame, Huo Yuhao burned over one hundred thousand lives instantly.
He is also a master of martial arts and has superior strength, simply by how he single-handedly killed one of the satan, Leviathan, with just a punch.
And Huo Yuhao's most well-known feat in the Great War was his swordsmanship. When he held the God-Slaying Saber Stella, he created an attack that blew every faction apart, and people who survived could only tremble when witnessing the season change quickly. Also, Huo Yuhao defeated the Heavenly Dragons with overwhelming strength, pinning them to the mountain and ground like a ragdoll.
However, Huo Yuhao suddenly disappeared from the world after defeating everyone. He doesn't leave anything, but his goal is to conquer the world. Some pantheons believed he was a myth, but people, who were traumatized because of the Great War, knew he would return sooner or later.

Grigori, an organization created by Azazel and the Cadre Fallen Angels, fell from the grace of God of the Bible in Heaven after they gave in to their impure thoughts.
Azazel rubbed his forehead in a dilemma and sighed because his and many others' greatest nightmares had appeared again. He looked down at his chest and touched the hole created by Huo Yuhao's saber technique. Those raindrops still give him a shiver until now.
He laughed weakly and said, "Haha... After over six hundred years, the Blue-Eyed Dragon God finally returned and made an appearance. And to think my subordinate was the one who discovered him made me question the world's will."
"I don't know if Grigori was blessed or cursed by this encounter." Azazel glanced at the person beside him.
"It's not cool to spy on other's business, Vali."
Vali Lucifer is one of the remaining descendants of the original Lucifer. He's the current possessor of Longinus: Divine Dividing, a sacred gear created by the God of the Bible with the White Dragon Emperor's soul sealed within it.
He is a handsome young man with dark silver hair and light blue eyes, wearing a dark green V-neck shirt with a high-collared black leather jacket over it. He also wears burgundy jeans with a silver chain drooping down over them and black shoes with black buckles.
"I have told you to place a seal on this place," Vali replied casually. "Don't blame me for entering without permission, Azazel."
"Anyway, is that true?"
The current White Dragon Emperor focused on Azazel's face because he was sure this man said Blue-Eyed Dragon god along the line.
Azazel shrugged and replied, "It's true. He has returned, but I advised you to stay here. Even Albion would agree with my advice."
"Right?"
"He's right, Vali. Even though I don't want to admit it, that blue-haired monster is out of our league." A pair of white Dragon wings manifested on Vali's back, with eight energy feathers.
"Ddraig and I fought him, and we ended up in quite a horrible state. Why do you think God can seal me inside this Sacred Gear?"
Vali frowned because the legend of the Blue-Eyed Dragon God was quite confusing to him. Even though people exaggerate his feats in the Great War, Albion and Azazel always warn him about the incarnation of destruction. It doesn't stop Vali and gives him the limitless motivation to fight such a being.
"Still, I want to fight him!" Vali excitedly grinned, to which Albion and Azazel responded with a sigh. He wouldn't stop until Huo Yuhao gave him a taste of absolute defeat.
"Vali. Curiosity killed the cat, they say." Azazel shook his head and created a green magic circle to communicate with Reynare, who gave him information about Huo Yuhao.
Reynare accepted the Communication Magic and nervously replied, "H-Hello, Azazel. Reynare here."
"Oh, Azazel finally contacted you back?" A familiar voice suddenly followed, which caused Azazel and Albion to tremble slightly because this voice had been hunting them every night.
"Why so quiet all of a sudden??"
"Come here. Why don't we have a heartwarming reunion with food and beer."
Azazel's mouth twitched in disbelief because Huo Yuhao was casual about it. It seemed the source of the Supernatural World's sensation for several centuries hadn't realized the impact he made in the past.
After thinking about something, Azazel writes something on paper, so people would know where he went for a while. He glanced at Vali and saw his hopeful look.
"Whatever... Follow me, Vali." He suddenly jumped off the chair while creating a teleportation magic circle. "Also, Don't create a problem when we are there, okay?"
"Sure, Azazel."
Vali nodded and stepped onto Azazel's magic circle, waiting for the governor-general of Grigori to teleport them to Huo Yuhao's location. He giddily clenched his hand and wanted to see the Blue-Eyed Dragon God.
"I don't feel good about this meeting..." Albion commented with a frown inside Divine Dividing.
Vali rolled his eyes and replied, "Get over it, Albion. You were overthinking this shit for centuries."
Azazel activated the teleportation magic, and they reached Kuoh City in just a few seconds. The Governor General of Grigori looked around for a moment and saw an abandoned church twenty meters away. "That place, huh?" He said while walking toward the church, followed by high-hoped Vali.
As they approached the abandoned church, Huo Yuhao's presence swept over them and made the White Dragon Emperor frown deeply after several centuries.
"This presence is never getting old," Albion commented weakly.
Azazel opened the church's door and stepped inside, looking at the stair leading to the underground room. He breathed in to calm down and walked to the stair with a sharp look.
They arrived at the underground room and discovered a blue-haired young man on the sofa with three fallen angels sitting on the couch beside him. Azazel and Albion recognized this person and face-palmed inside because the Blue-Eyed Dragon God had returned to this world again.
Huo Yuhao had a slice of pizza in his mouth and greeted, "Yo! How are you guys?"
"Want some?"

Azazel sat on a half-broken wooden stool and complained, "Damn it! I hoped Raynare was joking about your existence."
"After centuries of absence, Why did you come back to the surface?" He added while grabbing on chicken wings.
Huo Yuhao was surprised and answered, "It's centuries for you guys, but I leaped through time to reach this place. From my point of view, the Great War was a few hours ago."
"Y-You what??" Azazel choked on the wings. "Tell me you are joking..."
"I'm not. I got teleported to the park in Kuoh City a few hours ago, and Reynare can give you the testimony about it." Huo Yuhao wiped his hand clean with a napkin. He obviously isn't dumb enough to reveal Evo's existence because the upgrading system was his "greatest." source of power.
Azazel was speechless and fell into deep thought because Huo Yuhao wielded greater power than he expected. He glanced at the White Dragon Emperor and noticed he was glaring at Huo Yuhao.
"It's been a while, Huo Yuhao..." Albion said while releasing a dim white light from Divine Dividing's wings.
Huo Yuhao chuckled and returned, "Yeah. How are you, Albion? I see that you're in a rather complex situation there."
"Oh well, Thanks to you, I was sealed inside this sacred gear for centuries." The White Dragon Emperor of Supremacy laughed in defeat. "It's not 100% comfortable to live in but interesting enough to stay for a while. I've seen so many events with my hosts."
"Host, this kid?" Huo Yuhao faked his reaction and moved his gaze to Vali.

"This is not Yugi-... Nevermind." Huo Yuhao shook his head and burned the napkin with Thunderfire. "Very well, I'll entertain you for a moment."
"However, if you lose, join my organization."
"Your organization?" Vali tilted his head in confusion.
Huo Yuhao smirked and answered, "Yes, It's called Dragon Nest."
