Chapter 51: Dragon Auction Event

Huo Yuhao walked alongside Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er to the Melati Hotel. After he encounters them accidentally in a dark alley, small talks and jokes become a genuine conversation.
"So, what do you think about this place?" Huo Yuhao asked while staring at the street. "Dragon Nest has been secretive in the past two years, and I'm sure you are surprised by Java Island's facilities?"
Yan Shaozhe chuckled in excitement and replied, "It would be a lie if I said no because every establishment on Java Island was beyond my expectation and simply superb. I barely saw any problem so far and the food! Yes, the food is amazing here!"
"Glad you like it." Huo Yuhao smiled behind his mask because everyone on the Dragon Nest had been working hard on Java Island. They transformed a dead island into a place filled with joy and entertainment.
Sin Lin'er glimpsed a giddy mood from Huo Yuhao and blinked her eyes because this young man was quite mysterious. He was obviously Dragon Nest's member because no outsider besides guests like them was allowed to enter Java Island. His overall looks are solid, with one exception his face literally was hidden behind an odd-looking mask.
"Do you have any questions? I'll answer them for you." Huo Yuhao abruptly commented, which caught Sin Lin'er off guard because this young man noticed her gaze.

Sin Lin'er cleared her throat and asked, "Ehem, T-Then... Can you tell us more about Dragon Nest? We know, but that was from our perspective only."
"Interesting question. Dragon Nest, huh?" Huo Yuhao pondered for a moment. He remembered so many things in the past six years and was distracted when recalling them. "Let's make it short. This Organization was started based on pure ambition and hope to escape a doomed fate. People were gathering and helping each other, creating a strong tree that protects everyone from their unwanted past."
"Dragon Nest was born because of people who wanted to live in this unfair world. Young or adult, everyone believes that staying weak is a sin and becoming strong is a way to break their unwanted destiny."
"We are friendly, but I suggest you never anger us."
"Hmm, why so quiet?"
"No, we were shocked..." Yan Shaozhe shook his head because hearing Dragon Nest's upbringing from Huo Yuhao opened their eyes compared to blatant and sometimes inaccurate news on the Douluo Continent.
"Dragon Nest has been a hot topic for people on the Douluo Continent. A new yet powerful organization with an overwhelming appearance and presence. Yet, listening to your words makes us understand Dragon Nest more."
"Yeah." Sin Lin'er nodded in agreement.
She remembered the deal Liu Mei and Hao Xie made this morning and added, "Uh, I don't think you'd answer this, but what do you think about Dragon Nest's Academy?"
"It's a good place. Every student there was given a great chance to become what they wanted, but Dragon Nest Academy valued hard work more than raw talent. Of course, talent is important and makes things not unfair, but that's when rivalry comes."
"After all, A good rivalry birthed a nice environment where students pushed each other's limits to surpass them. And they also have a chance to enter White Room's Division."
"White Room's Division??"
Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er frowned when hearing Huo Yuhao's blatant expose of Dragon Nest Academy's secret. The young man was unhinged and walked casually to the Melati Hotel.
"W-Wait, what's White Room Division?" Yan Shaozhe watched over the young man with a frantic expression.
Huo Yuhao was about to enter the Melati Hotel's front gate and stopped after thinking about something. He glanced at the Shrek Academy's representatives and answered, "A place where monsters were born and made by Dragon Nest."
He waved his hand at them and entered the Melati Hotel, telling the receptionist to give him the King Suite. As Huo Yuhao entered the lift, Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er followed to the reception hall hurriedly.
"See you guys later." He said while moving to the highest floor.

Huo Yuhao gently put Huo Yun'er on the king-sized bed and went for a warm shower. He placed the White Ogre Mask on the sink and grazed his hair gently. After meeting with Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er, Huo Yuhao began to remember a few plots in Douluo Dalu 2.
"This is getting interesting, my existence changed the story drastically, and everything was still on the tolerable path." He commented naturally. "I only have to worry about Tang San and his friends in the Divine Realm. Their existence is like a ticking bomb for me."
The next day, Huo Yuhao woke up and saw Huo Yun'er sleeping face. He smiled because she was hugging him like a koala. "Morning." He kissed her lightly.
"Hmm~?" Huo Yun'er furrowed her brows and opened her eyes slowly. "Where am I?"
Huo Yuhao laughed and answered, "Melati Hotel, you were downing a few wine bottles last night and became drunk. I had to bring you on my back here."
"Is that so?"
Huo Yun'er tried her best to recall last night's event and blushed because she was making the poor restaurant owner empty the wine storage. Even though Huo Yuhao said a few bottles, that was an understatement.
"I'll call the hotel service. Does warm soup sound good?" Huo Yuhao reached over to the transceiver. He dialed the Melati Hotel's service and watched his mom nodding her head.
After ordering some food, Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun'er cuddled under the blanket and lazily enjoyed their time. It lasted 15 minutes before the hotel's attendant knocked on their door.
"The breakfast is here."

An hour later.
Liu Mei calmly stepped into the Melati Hote's highest floor and approached the king suite. She knocked on the door and asked Huo Yuhao's permission to enter. "Young lord, everything was ready." She said while waiting for an answer.
"Oh, Liu Mei? Come in." Huo Yuhao responded from inside.
As Liu Mei entered the king's suite, a scenery that could make every adult woman in Dragon Nest jealous appeared before her eyes. Half-naked Huo Yuhao was sitting on the edge of the bed, pampering Huo Yun'er by feeding her warm soup.
Even though Liu Mei was speechless, she stayed in character and fixed her glasses carelessly. "The Dragon Auction Event was ready. We moved the goods into the underground storage room and waited for the guest to enter the building. Um, Are you going to attend the event as well?" She reported while staring at Huo Yuhao.
Huo Yuhao placed the empty bowl of soup on the tray and asked Huo Yun'er, "What do you think, Mom?"
"Sure, Sounds fun. I wanted to see some people make fools of themselves." Huo Yun'er responded with a fox-like smile.
Liu Mei nodded and said, "Then, I'll prepare an extra VIP room for you. Ah, one more thing. Do you want me to place the Red Rune Stone on the Auction?"
"Why not? I'd like to see their reaction to our product." A grin plastered Huo Yuhao's face.

Java Island's Center, Dragon Auction Event.
A towering building stood above everything on Java Island and emitted a dark-like shine. Over a hundred guests entered the building and "politely." were accompanied by the Dragon Nest's members to the Auction Hall.
Jing Hongchen walked into a two-story room with a massive podium in the middle. He and other Sun and Moon Empire representatives entered the VIP room on the second floor and frowned because Shrek Academy's people stayed beside them.
"Morning, what a nice day to attend an auction. Am I right?" Yan Shaozhe greeted Jing Hongchen with a smile.
"Certainly. Now, if you excuse me." Jing Hongchen responded while walking into the VIP Room. He doesn't want to talk with Shrek Academy's people now because the Auction's Items are more noteworthy.
Yan Shaozhe shrugged and commented, "What a cold guy."
Calm steps approached the Shrek Academy's representatives from behind. They couldn't help but become alerted because of it.
"Hmm?"
Sin Lin'er and Yan Shaozhe turned around and saw Huo Yuhao accompanied by Huo Yun'er in her glamorous dress. "Damn, Boy! I don't know you have such beauty on your side." He said, to which the young man responded with a chuckle.
"Morning." Huo Yuhao said while looking at Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er. They have been wearing more formal clothes for this event. "I see that you guys are dressing a little bit."
Sin Lin'er huffed her chest in defeat and replied, "Well, I can't wear pajamas on such an important event. That would be a rude move from Shrek Academy."
"That's true." Yan Shaozhe fixed his tuxedo.
Huo Yun'er lowered her head and stared at Yan Shaozhe and Sin Lin'er with an amused look behind her veil. "Oh, Shrek Academy? So you two are Bright Phoenix Douluo And Valkyrie Douluo." She said while gauging these two strengths.
"How did you..." Sin Lin'er wanted to ask, but the Auction abruptly started.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please enter your assigned room and spots. The Dragon Auction Event will get started in a few seconds."

Huo Yuhao walked past Yan Shaozhe and advised, "Save your resources, Yan Shaozhe. Don't waste them on B-Grade items."
Leaving the Shrek Academy's representatives on the corridor, Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun'er entered the last VIP room on the second floor. They sat on the sofa and watched the podium through the half-opened curtain.
"Welcome, everyone." Liu Mei, in her flowing purple gown, walked onto the podium. "The first open Dragon Auction Event will start now."
"Without further ado, let's start with the rule of the Auction. We don't receive gold and only trade our goods, which means you can trade with items of the same value."
"Is that clear enough?" Liu Mei smiled because no complaint was coming from the guest.
"Then, let's start with the first item."
