Chapter 56: FRIENDS (2)
Whilst Alicia was stuck in her own mindscape, the beeper which she had set on in her watch went off, it was time she left the place she was stuck in, yet she was now unwilling to simply leave without first finding out what past she and Liam shared.
On the other side, Mike who was the one to have let the beeper off started to get a little anxious, miss Alicia had been gone for almost three-months now but she hadn't given him any more instructions about the company, that on its own meant that she was not in great shape. And if that was true, then the chairman must be brought back to find her.

IN CHRIS'S OFFICE:
Bianca who had been silent the moment she ended her call with Noah simply gathered her phone and placed it inside her bag and slowly got off her seat and said, "Noah will arrive here in one-to-two hours at most, make sure that he fixes this before Alicia regains any of her memories. I must look after the company from now on. My best friend might not have enough time to look after it when she returns."
And with that, Bianca walked out without sparring a single glance towards Chris at all.
Chris sat silently in his chair with a dumbfounded expression on his face, everything which was happening was somehow involving his little sister he couldn't even do anything to help AT ALL, yet a total stranger was taking complete charge of the situation for him. It didn't sit well with him at all.
He decided to give Edward a call in order to find out what the whole situation was about. The phone connected after a few seconds ringing. Edwards lazy voice came from the other end which said, "Chris! What's going on buddy? Why are you calling me?!!"
Chris on this end was fed up with the man's perfunctory reaction and simply yelled at him screaming, "What the HELL IS GOING ON Edward? Where on earth is Alicia?"
Edward sighed slightly trying to keep himself calm, after a few seconds he answered Chris with, "Alicia is still in Paris Chris, Mike knows exactly where she is, but he is under strict orders not to disclose her location unless if the company's Chairman asks. We both know that you aren't Chairman, give me a day to find out the whole situation for you okay, … By the way, Bianca might have dropped by in your office this afternoon, she has a bit of temper when any harm befalls Alicia. So cut her some slack."
Chris was speechless, the person who had any right of being angry right now was him, he had a missing sister who someone doesn't want to be found, yet everybody keeps telling him to calm down, it was too much for him to handle.
Chris disconnected the call after a few minutes when he had nothing more to ask.
