Peter paled when Kevin told him that, and he said: "If that's true, then that means someone did it on purpose…And that person wanted us to be unable to call in reinforcements to defend ourselves!"
Kevin then said as he focused back all his attention on Maya's body: "I guess that the person who did it must be someone very influential to have access to this stone, right?"
Peter nodded and said, anger, hatred and disbelief, filing his heart: "Only a few people have access to it, so it will be easy to find the culprit… But so many people died because of him or her, I even had to abandon my girls and my wife didn't see them grow because of that person…"
Willow's melody then fill the cave and Peter immediately relaxed after hearing this sound.
Kevin smiled at Willow and Lena then said to her dad: "Do not worry, justice will be done, and we will help you get rid of those Gods… But Dad, how did you leave this world to bring us to safety, and why did you choose this world?"
Peter then said, looking at his beautiful daughter whom he thought he would never see again, and all the hatred that had overwhelmed him earlier instantly vanished: "Lena, sweetie, I didn't choose the world we were going to, it was all due to luck."
Lena repeated then, dumbfounded: "Luck?"
Peter then smiled and told her: "Yes, it was luck!"
He then told them as he guessed that they had been briefed before coming to their world by Elias and Miguel: "Since Miguel and Elias came to our world there have been a few changes.
It will be too long to explain everything to you right now, but just know that the Black Elves, the Clan of your mother is not considered anymore like evil beings and they are part of the human community.
Our weeding was celebrated by my Master, who is one of the most powerful Angels of our World, and when our world had been attack by these Gods, as we couldn't reach Elias and Miguel to ask them to help us, the Angels and Paladins chose to combine their powers to send me, since I was their best Paladin, to a world where I was supposed to be able to seek help to save us all."
Peter then continued to explain to them, that since the Angels were blessed by the spiritual energy and so by the Magic itself, as they were just humble human that could use such a powerful energy source, they did believe that while opening a transdimensional portal, if they focused enough they could send him in the perfect world to bring back reinforcements for them.
But before accepting this mission, Peter explained to them that he put some conditions and that he wanted first to leave with Maya and his baby girls.
Unfortunately, as their world was now at war, and since he was their best Paladin, they couldn't take the risk to lose him if he decided to not return, and so they accepted that he took his baby girls with him to put them in safety, but Maya had to stay here to guarantee that he would return to fight alongside them.
Even though he wanted to refuse because he didn't want their family to be separated, Maya begged him to accept this mission as she wanted their baby girls to be able to grow up in a safe world and not a world that was under the threat of vicious Gods, and so Peter finally accepted this mission.
Once he landed in their world, he tried to reach Elias and Miguel with the transdimensional communication stone that they gave him, but the result was the same as in their world, and he failed to contact them.
He then explained to them that after roaming in their world he couldn't find anyone powerful enough to be able to help their world to fight against these Gods and so, once he was sure that his girls could fend for themselves, he hurried back here to help them to fight.
Once Kevin was sure that he had eliminated all the Corium in Maya's body, he then said first to Willow and Lena: "I have removed all this ore, you can heal her now, hurry up!"
Willow then unlocked her energy reserve and Lena deployed her white light on her mother so that, all the damage that this Corium could have done to her mother would be just a bad memory.
While the girls were finishing healing Maya, Kevin then patted Peter's shoulder and he said to him: "This transdimensional portal that you succeeded to open while passing through the power of these Gods that had kept your world sealed so that Elias and Miguel wouldn't know what happened here really sent you to the right world.
Even if you arrived a little too early, you couldn't have landed in a better place, because our world is now the world where all the most powerful beings in our universe are joining forces and training together to prepare for the upcoming war against the Ancient Gods and Titans.
Luck... Trust me, the Angels are the luckiest beings I know!"
Maya then started to move, which immediately caught Peter's attention, and as she blinked, struggling to open her eyes, Peter said to her: "It's all right, my love, it's all right, we're safe... The reinforcements arrived just in time, we're safe!"
Maya heard Peter's voice and immediately relaxed, and as her eyes closed again because she still felt extremely tired, although her body seemed to be functioning normally again, she asked him, worried: "How are you? Are you hurt?"
Peter then said to her: "Like you, I've been healed by our saviors and you can rest assured, I'm perfectly fine... Maya, when you are ready, open your eyes my love, there's someone I'd like you to meet."
Maya then massaged her temples and said to Peter: "Help me up!"
