For upgrading and fusing Silver Units into Gold, he needed 50,000 to max each unit for a total of 100,000 Silver Upgrade Crystals. To fully max a single unit and be able to fuse it with another, 200,000 Gold Upgrade Crystals were required to do so!
It was an obscene number as it meant he had to collect 400,000 Gold Upgrade Crystals to even taste his first DIAMOND Unit.

But Noah was unhindered by this large number as he delved into the 56th floor after checking the rewards and replenishing all his units and himself with potions. His eyes also lingered on the 25 Random Gold Unit Shards that he just needed 75 more of to summon a Gold Unit, his drive to very quickly clear the upper floors of the Tower of Champions blazing ever higher!
The 56th floor was not as vast as the 55th, but it had similar bosses as Noah still had to take down an Elven City that had 5 Gold Rift Bosses. Having already had practice, this Elven City fell within half an hour as another set of rewards was displayed in front of his eyes.

Some rewards were slightly reduced, but many were similar to the 55th floor as the Gold Rank Unit Shards and Upgrade Crystals that were the most important to Noah remained the same!
His expression remained placid as with this constant progress he was seeing, he continued into the Tower.

59th!
Three more floors were cleared under his relentless assault and the terrifying team of 4 Light Rank Units and 2 of the Aether Rank!
The Rift Bosses on each floor mainly remained Elven Rift Bosses, their numbers increasing to 6 on the 59th Floor as he was still able to take them down in a matter of time. But the clearing of floors 57-59th now gave him a total of 125 Random Gold Unit Shards...as well as 125,000 Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals.
These were the crystals that he needed just 75 thousand more of to fully raise the strength of a Gold Unit to the peak, and with the increasing difficulty of the floors of the tower...he forced himself to use it on the Gold Unit he planned to bring to DIAMOND Rank first!
His choice was of course, his strongest offensive units so far- the Aether Half Dragons!
Beginning on the 57th floor, he began to pump all the Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals onto the Aether Half Dragon as its body grew ever larger while it shone with a flash of intense purple brilliance.
The battle power it could release jumped up by another level as even among Rift Bosses, it was now on the extreme scale of power! This was further enhanced by the Unit being a creature with the name of a Dragon attached to it, its strength being the only thing that allowed Noah to smoothly clear the past floors!
This single Aether Half Dragon that was pumped with Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals could stand against three normal Gold Rank Rift Bosses, 3 Elven Bosses having to run circles around it before they would ultimately be taken down by its terrifying attacks and purple glistening scales whose defenses could not be broken.
THRUUM!
Purple mana blazed wildly as Noah pumped the recent 25,000 Upgrade Crystals into its body, the Unit becoming even deadlier as he smiled while sitting on top of it. His eyes turned towards the 60th Floor as he was unfazed, his voice counting to ring out to his units!
"Let's go!"
In the outside world, the day had already passed as Night entered, but Noah continued within the Tower as there were truly too many things he was waiting for.
With a few more floors cleared, he would be able to have a single maxed Gold Unit, and if he waited just for more than half the night to pass...he would be able to collect the Idle Loot Resources that came from 102 Rifts across 10 Cities!
He would be able to feast his eyes on a shocking amount of loot as the most important to him was the Idle Exp that would upgrade his System yet again. As for the other loot? He was currently saving everything else as the SILVER Unit Upgrade crystals he could use to fuse GOLD Units were currently stacked up to 164,485.
With this, he could fuse another Gold Unit, and he even had 125 Random Gold Unit Shards to summon another random gold Unit! But he waited on utilizing all of these as he currently had the max 6 Party Unit he was allowed to utilize, and he could use the Silver Upgrade Crystals on a powerful Light or Aether Unit when the time came that two gold units disappeared to allow for the fusion of a Diamond one!
With his mind swirling with such thoughts, he descended unto the 60th floor that was filled with Elven Rift Bosses, this time his task being increased to taking down two Elven Cities.
Each of these Cities held 6 Rift Bosses, meaning Noah had to face 12 Gold Rift Bosses with his team of 6!
ROAAR!
The draconic roars of the Aether Half-Dragons reverberated out as Noah moved with haste to defeat a few of the Elven Rift Bosses in the first city before those from the other city came to reinforce them, barely being able to clear the floor after kiting the bosses and taking them down one by one.
Under the enhanced strength of the strongest Aether Half-Dragon, even the 60th floor holding 12 Gold Rift Bosses fell! As for the rewards, they were of course abundant as it was another special 5th floor cleared since the 55th!

Beautiful numbers that gave him another 50 thousand Gold Rank Upgrade crystals that he pumped into the Aether Half Dragon right away, only 25 thousand remaining for this Unit to enter the peak and simply wait for fusion once another Unit reached the same stage!
There was also the introduction of [Haste Potions] that caused his body to vibrate with power, his speed being increased greatly as the mana circulating in his body felt even more vibrant. This just went to allow him and his Units to increase their battle power as with the terrifying enhanced Aether Half Dragon in the lead, Noah put everything else aside as he continued deeper into the Tower.
The 61st floor.
The difficulty remained ramped up with Noah having to clear 2 Elven Cities with 12 Gold Rift Bosses similar to the last one, this floor taking him another hour before it was cleared!
The Aether Half Dragon was fully maxed to the peak on this floor as it could even withstand 5 normal Gold Rift Bosses alone.
'I wouldn't be surprised if it could match a DIAMOND Blessed at this point!'
Wild thoughts crossed Noah's mind when he looked at the beast, the reality of Rift Bosses only being capable of being matched against 10 Blessed of the same level not applying to the Half Dragon anymore as it could even match 5 Rift Bosses!
It would not be too much of a shock to Noah if it could stand against a Diamond Blessed! As for whether it could defeat one? Only time would tell…
The process of Noah and his units chugging Health, Mana, Attack, Defense, and Haste Potions repeated as their bodies brimmed with power, the 62nd floor being delved into fearlessly.
Then the 63rd!
After another hour, the 64th!
Over 3 and a half hours, but three more floors were cleared as the number of Silver Upgrade Crystals Noah held stacked up to 321,455.
That was three future Gold Units!
The number of Gold Upgrade Crystals also reached 75,000 for the next Gold Unit, Noah choosing for it to be the other Aether Half Dragon as the fusion of these two High Tier Element Units would birth his first shockingly powerful DIAMOND Rift Boss.
But after his shocking Tower run where he nearly crossed 10 floors, he came to a stop as a significant amount of hours had passed, the time being past midnight as he brought his tired body to remain in the Waiting Room while opening up the Idle Gaming System Interface!
There, 102 Rifts were shining a brilliant golden loot luster that screamed towards him, 24 hours having passed for nearly all of these rifts as the rewards Noah was about to collect all at once would be something mind shattering!
