In the darkness of the night, a commotion had begun in the center of City 8!

Stephon roared out as two Blessed helped him from the crater he was smashed into, his body bleeding from many angles as he also gave commands to the appearing Silver Blessed around them.
"Circle around us, we need you guys to buy some time while we heal and get ready to match it...we'll also need to send for reinforce-"

Before his words could finish, the figure of the Conflagrant Pegasus appeared in the skies above them grandly once more, its gold eyes extremely cold as it seemed ready for another attack!
"Get ready! Throw everything you have against it, just buy some time!"
The bodies of the GOLD Blessed glimmered with light as they cast healing skills on themselves, trying to buy as much time as possible to get back into top shape before they faced the terrifying enemy.
But in this hectic moment, they failed to clearly see a few details!
Like the fact that the Silver Blessed coming to back them had appeared very quickly.
The fact that there were tens of them supposedly surrounding them for protection, with each GOLD Blessed having over 20 Silver experts quickly appearing around the area on the ground they smashed into!
To them, it was lucky and actually a good thing that their subordinates managed to gather so quickly, their thoughts at this moment only on survival.
It was at this moment when the fate of the two GOLD Blessed was decided!

At this moment, it felt like time was moving in slow motion as the shouts of the GOLD Blessed reverberated out. The Conflagrant Pegasus shone lustrously in the skies as its body lit up to seemingly release another skill, two blinking gold lights beneath it looking up with solemn expressions as multiple silver lights surrounded them!
From the distance, Noah was watching this shocking scene as he overlooked the whole battle, watching it play out slowly as the Silver Blessed that were ready to release their attacks towards the GOLD Rift Boss in the sky...shockingly turned and aimed their blades and skills towards the Golden Commanders they should have been protecting and giving time to heal.

Surrounded by beings they thought to be their closest allies, the two GOLD experts did not have their defenses up against them and instead focused their power above them against the Rift Boss. But soon after,?they shockingly felt Silver Ranked Weapons dig into their bodies, numerous skills from tens of Silver Blessed also smashing into them!
BOOM!
A horrendous explosion exploded out from the power of skills from tens of Silver Blessed, the Commanders at the Gold Rank actually being dealt the heaviest injuries at this time as their bodies were smashed further into the initial craters, muscles torn and bleeding!

Stephon's body was tattered as he barely kept his life by releasing a burst of golden light that drained nearly all of his remaining mana.
"This...you…GAH!"
He looked around him in shock as he spat out blood, barely standing up on his two legs as his eyes saw the cold and expressionless faces of Blessed he knew all his life…

Above them in the skies, the Conflagrant Pegasus made its true move as [Rays of Burning Light] was cast again, illuminating the dark skies of the City for the last time!

A sudden sound of horrendous explosions shook the city.
Less than a minute later...it stopped!
Very few people would find out exactly what happened on this day...but some watched the show from beginning to the end.
Rose, the former 5th Ethereal Princess, was looking at the shocking scene of 2 GOLD Blessed face betrayal from their own forces, their bodies becoming riddled with injuries from the force of tens of Blessed!
She then watched as the hot rays of light she could feel the temperatures of even where she, Annalise, and Noah stood...she watched as they went on to pierce their injured bodies and nail them to the ground.
These were GOLD Rank experts mind you!
Powerful beings could take to the skies, being that stood above them and looked at them like bugs just a few days ago.
Yet they were now ambushed by a force of nearly 100 Blessed that Noah called to participate, the rest of the Subjugated beings tasked with keeping this area clear of people and overseeing the walls of the city to make sure not a single soul left the City.
On top of Light Element GOLD Rift Boss, the 2 experts in this same rank never stood a chance!
It was a heart rending scene that was inscribed in the hearts of all that saw it, the scene of two Gold Blessed skewered to the ground with pulsing Light Rays being something Rose would never forget in her life.
"Wait here."
She was taken out of her stupor as the voice of the man responsible rang out, watching as he walked forward calmly, the ranks of Silver Blessed splitting apart like a tide as he walked to the crater where the two GOLD Blessed lay!
His eyes shone bright blue as a myriad of thoughts seemed to flow through them, squatting down next to the two beings whose bodies were twitching and bleeding heavily as a Tree Pixie appeared beside him.
The creature shone with a glint of green as vines sprouted out to restrict the movements of the beings that could most likely not even be able to lift a muscle, their eyes barely being able to focus as they looked at the being that appeared before them!

The figure of the Conflagrant Pegasus also landed beside Noah as more scorching rays of light descended with it to skewer the limbs of the two Commanders into the ground, utterly breaking the wills of these experts as they nearly lost consciousness.

Rose could not help but feel her heart speed up as she looked at this scene. A scene of Noah's cold eyes glancing at beings a rank higher than him as they were mutilated from his commands, a scene of him standing above them domineeringly like a king that had planned for and thought of everything!
'It...it should be possible for someone like him…'
Her mind worked quickly as she etched the scene into her soul, looking at the domineering and cold figure of Noah as she truly thought it was possible for this being to stand on top of many.
For him to wipe out the scourge plaguing the lands of the Ethereal Realm, for him to stand atop even her Older Brother in the Imperial Capital!
'Strength...he has enough of. I need to be of use when it comes to utilizing his people and managing the lands he will take over in the future!'

Noah's eyes coldly looked towards the mutilated GOLD Blessed that could barely breathe in front of him.
He didn't gloat or begin giving any speeches before his goal was complete, so he sent the command to the Tree Pixie to use its vines and force the bloody heads of the powerful Blessed to face him, his eyes beginning to shine blue as they locked onto the face of the Commander Stephon!
"Whoever you are...you won't get awa-GUH!"
The Commander known as Red Berserker by the side seemed to have stronger vitality as even while bleeding with the bones in his body shattered, he tried to muster a light of gold to cover his body and speak- but the Conflagrant Pegasus merely thundered down more scorching rays of light onto his body as he was pushed further into the ground.
Noah kept his eyes locked to the much more heavily injured Stephon as he cast Subjugate while speaking out slowly.
"Just give me a few seconds to get to you."

Stephon, this powerful being that could take to the skies and look upon Noah like a bug just a few days ago...this being now locked eyes with the same being as he lay battered and broken!
Ambushed by a shockingly powerful Rift Boss and then facing the surprise attacks of multiple Blessed he thought to be his allies...the being was in dire straits as he fit the conditions for Noah's [Subjugate] ability!
It was someone of the higher rank though, so bringing them under his command was all the more difficult, and it was why Noah had mutilated the GOLD Ranked Blessed as much as he did.
As Stephon's eyes locked with Noah, his body began to tremble as his mind was resisting the enticing Blue light coming from Noah!

Yet Noah's only response to this was summoning a Silver Rank Sword from his Inventory and stabbing it into the chest of this being while twisting the sharp blade around.

The lungs were punctured as Stephon could barely breathe, Noah's eyes shining even brighter as he felt his energy leaving him in droves while keeping [Subjugate] active to try and bring this GOLD Blessed into his fold!
