Hours passed as news traveled, the actions of the Dark Continent being spread as powerful Blessed found out that shockingly, over 10 Cities in the outer perimeters of the Continent had been attacked by Airships that carried GOLD experts at the lead, each of them falling without question as blood overflowed and they became subjugated under the banner of the Dark King!
The symbol of a bloody crown with a golden sword piercing it was spread across all 10 cities as new rules were established, the local Blessed finding themselves imprisoned in their own homes as they had to struggle diving into Rifts daily while giving over half of all that they gained to their conquerors.
After the powerful Blessed from the Dark Continent paved the way, their beings entered through the cities en masse as they took over all important positions!
The cities truly became subjugated as their past inhabitants now felt like prisoners in their own homes...
The Imperial Capital received a shock from this set of events as they truly had not expected for the plans of the Dark Continent to be so thorough and quick.
The Crown Prince that had thought he was moving fast by assembling Legions and moving them to the surrounding cities was given a metaphoric slap, the forces he had assembled moving even faster to go out towards the many City-States of the Light Continent to provide more man power!
It was truly an utter failure on their part as they had the knowledge of the Ethereal Emperor passing for years, and yet their preparations were not as strong and fast as they should have been...
After the subjugation of the 10 Cities, the forces of the Light Continent would be spread out so that there were at least multiple GOLD Rank experts protecting the Cities around the continent, with the even more terrifying Blessed above that rank protecting the Imperial Capital and its treasured Rifts.
As for the question of retaking the Cities? The hardship of this was high as the focus currently was to make sure the advancement of the Dark Continent stopped there!

In the Tower of Champions.
From the past 4 floors of the tower, the other boons were the 8000 Iron Rank Upgrade Crystals and the 200 Iron Rank Unit shards. It meant the fusion and combination of a 5th Bronze Beast, and Noah prepared himself fully as he summoned the two random Iron Units and fused them before delving into the 20th Floor.
The random units came out to be a [Red Scaled Snake] and [Fat Worm], their fusion bringing to light a Bronze Beast that was termed [Devouring Sands Serpent].
[Devouring Sands Serpent] :: A creature that loves hiding beneath the earth as it attacks its enemies silently. Its abilities include [Sand Displacement], [Swallow], and [Sand Spears].
A fifth Bronze Beast joined Noah's team as it made 5 maximum units that he could concurrently summon, and it also gave him a terrifying team that made him descend onto the 20th floor with confidence!
It was the same extensive desert before him, this time without any mobs as 10 Bronze Rift Bosses waited for him.

His gaze was called as he sent his units forward, [Fire Bolt] already leaving his body multiple times as he kept a Mana and Health Potion close!
The fight should have been immensely tough, but the enhanced Yeti that had been pumped with 8000 Bronze Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals showed terrifying battle power as it delved into the field of Desert Scorpions, Snakes, and Worms.
While supported by the surprise attacks of the newly joining Devouring Sands Serpent and Fiery Chimera, the Bronze Rift Bosses began to fall one by one as the vines of the Elder Stone Treat played a huge part in grouping them together and allowing for the deadly strikes of the offensive beasts to land!
The Illusory Willow was ready to give healing support at any time, but the furious Units that seemed to sense Noah's wrath and pain pummeled their enemies to the ground as after 20 minutes, the 20th floor was cleared of all enemies.

A wondrous notification rang out as something beautiful was displayed in front of Noah while his body was returned to the waiting room.

While obtaining this, it meant his growth would be even more explosive as he could ascend through more floors and even possibly descend onto the single Silver Rank Rift in City 8…
His heart thumped at this possible reality as his cold eyes shone, pumping the required 2000 Crystals into the Yeti as its body shone splendorously at the peak of BRONZE, ready for fusion as soon as another unit at the same stage as it appeared.
He then looked at the 125/100 Bronze Unit Shards as he summoned a 6th Unit that he couldn't equip due to his 5 cap limit, but he still wanted to know if it would be something particularly rare.
[Desert Kingsnake] :: A creature that loves the desert, this one particularly deadly as it is proficient in the [Poisonous Bite], [Swift Movements], and [Strangle] abilities.
Even though the Shards had the word random attached to them, they more than likely gave Dimensional Beasts of the floors he had been clearing, the only exception being him not receiving a single undead from the first 10 floors!
But he had received yet another damage dealer that could replace the empty Unit Slot when he fused two into the Silver Level, his eyes then going towards the 3 Skill Books that were the rewards from this floor.
[Vision Enhancement](Passive) :: A passive ability that grants the user enhanced vision, making night as clear as day.
[Haste](Active) :: An ability that allows the user to experience a rapid boost in speed to surprise their enemies with a deadly strike.
[Tough Skin] (Passive) :: A Passive Skill that enhances the defense of the user, making them even more durable.
Even more skills were added into his Skills tab as two were the rare passive abilities that all Blessed sought for, Noah merely nodding his head as he felt his body becoming tougher and his eyes even sharper!
He then turned towards the 21st Floor of the Tower of Champions.
He could already see to the right of the portal that among its rewards, there were the 2000 Bronze Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals he needed to bring to fruition a SILVER Unit.
His steps were fast as his summoned units followed, his figure disappearing into the 21st Floor!

A bit of an important note that I'll place within the chapter to be seen by all: The novel [My Idle Gaming System] is a story connected to the Multiverse that is about to be explored in my other novel, [Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse]. The main character in my first novel is named Noah Osmont, with the character in this novel being Noah Eckert. Osmont is already fleshed out as he is about to explore the Multiverse in Infinite Mana, while Eckert has only just begun in this story!
They are different characters, and Eckert is being built differently compared to Noah as the goal will be to create a somewhat naive character that learns to be ruthless and cunning. Plot developments like the death of his parents or anything that follows are already outlined and simply being put to paper, with the focus always remaining on making an overly OP, ruthless main character through the [Idle Gaming System] as he relentlessly advances forward. If the style isn't to your liking or using a certain plot device somehow ruins the whole experience for you- that's ok! There are many wonderful works on Webnovel to explore and enjoy for that reason. As in any of my works, an overpowered main character can be expected, with blood-pumping battles and gorgeous skills appearing throughout. Some wonderful things I'm excited to put to paper is weaving the Multiverse of these stories together in the coming future, where ideally my 3rd or 4th work will be the inclusion of all the main characters we are coming across.
