Soul Record!

Noah only heard this word once before the eyes of the Primordial released rays of light towards his direction.

Beams of light landed on Noah as they scanned him up and down, and he felt a foreign influence descend unto him as it pierced into his deepest secrets that nobody should know!

The being before him was too terrifying as the things he could do were all much too marvelous.

Noah accepted this as while the penetrative lights began to undulate over his body, he sighed while speaking out what lay in his heart.

"What if...I do not wish to spend the rest of my life fighting Primordial Beasts?"

RUMBLE!

Noah spoke lightly, but his words carried such immense weight that he nearly felt himself sinking down the moment he said them!

"Hmm?"

The calm air turned sour.

The golden and white light that shone across all sides seemingly faltered and came to a stop as the devilishly handsome face of the Primordial gradually lost its smile.

He didn't wish to spend his life below another being as he was pulled along like a puppet to serve their purposes! He didn't want to go against the beliefs he made when he watched his parents in the Ethereal Realm killed before his eyes...he didn't want to put his life and well being at the mercy of another.

But speaking out like so...Noah knew what the result would be as he recalled the words of the Usurper.

The moment this being found out about his connection with him and the fact that he obtained a shattered Primordial Relic...it didn't even matter what words of wishes would be exchanged. The Usurper believed Noah's fate with this being would be sealed right then and there!

"Oh dear."

The uniquely shaped eyes of the Primordial shone sharply as Noah felt an inviolable force wrap around him and lock everything down.

If Noah tried to use any spatial skills at this moment, he would have found everything absolutely locked down by a unique power as such a thing would only be a dream.

"Now why would you go and say that?"

THRUM!

His surroundings began to shake.

The voice of the Primordial turned utterly cold and devoid of emotions as he waved his hands and caused an interface that Noah was used to seeing all this time appear.

It was the Idle Gaming System Interface as this time, it held his image as well as his stats and everything about him!

This being in his sleek white suit looked at such a screen with a disappointed gaze as he began to recount.

"Unlocked the System easy enough, rose through the ranks quickly with the loot, explored the features…"

He called out a great deal of information as the penetrative light he had shot into Noah truly pulled up everything he had done since he unlocked the System, the final piece in all this finally coming to light as the next words from the Primordial affirmed it.

"In the Empyrean Plane, cleared the Dimensional Rift of the Legacy of the Great...Usurper? Usurper?!"

BOOM!

The eyes of the Primordial flashed out with an intense and shocking light as after reading this record, his devilishly handsome face began to seep anger.

"I chased and killed this wretch down years ago...how did it manage to corrupt my work now?!" His eyes shot out bolts of powerful light as they continued to read the Soul Record!

"The ability to traverse Dimension, and then the wretch handed you a…" The words of the Primordial came to a stop.

His impassive eyes turned towards Noah's own as with increasing coldness, he spoke out flatly.

"What did he give you?"

…!

Noah's heart shook as shockingly, the Primordial seemed to actually not be able to read in his Soul Record anything that mentioned the Primordial Relic!

Noah remained quiet as his heart eased even more, glad that this powerful being at least had one area they weren't perfect in.

He remained silent as the eyes of the Primordial lost all decorum, his white gold figure slowly floating away from Noah as he spoke out with disappointment.

"There cannot be a Champion that traverses to other Realities. Such a thing is only a privilege for Primordials...and you have gained the abilities from a wretch that should have been erased a long time ago."

BZZZT!

Immense waves of power began to collect around this being as he looked towards Noah while shaking his head.

"For the birth of the Champion in this Reality to be Tainted by such a being...what a shame. Shameful thing, tell me what that wretch gave you and I can let you live. Hand to me whatever is interfering with even the discerning of a Soul Record."

He spoke to Noah in a commanding fashion as even though he couldn't move or carry out any skills, Noah actually found himself calm in this situation!

His preparations were enough that even if he died here, he would be okay. It also meant that he would escape the influence of a Primordial, but such a thing would come at a high cost.

His raging destiny told him what this cost was, but for him to lead his own life without being controlled by another...he would pay this cost.

Thus, he spoke out calmly.

"I do not wish to move under the aims of another."

WAA!

He didn't reply to the question of the Primordial as he spoke out his heart, but this only caused the anger of the being before him to increase!

"I don't care what you wish for. You are merely a failed product that needs to be purged...whatever secrets you have, I will rip out for myself. What I will begin with...is the System I handed to you!"

…!

The words Noah expected to hear came.

His heart undulated with waves of emotions as towards this body that couldn't even move, the Primordial's unique essence reached deep into his soul as it wanted to pull out something that Noah couldn't even sense before this!
