The Rift Boss split apart like a pinata as a flood of loot rushed out, Noah's eyes focusing on a few specific glimmering loot as his mental energy spread out to snatch them in the air before they traveled out too far.

The huge cavernous space trembled with the death of the Incandescent Fate Bearer, a glowing golden portal forming at the very end of it as this should be the Noah ticket out of the Incandescent Fate Treasure Plane!
But all of this faded away from Noah's mind as he focused on the loot that shot forth from the dead Rift Boss as he called all of it towards him.
Shining brightly with a myriad of colors, the names of multiple things appeared in front of him.
[World Rank Core], [Aether Law Crystal], [Chaos LAw Crystal], [Unique Skill Book- Fate Scryer], [Dao Crystal of Destruction…

Noah's eyes opened sharply when he came upon the name of the treasure that looked like an enormous obsidian crystal that shot out pulsing dark light!
It was this.
It was this that he had only read concepts of when he sat on his computer after school every night, the concept of something he only knew as the Dao!
Something that superseded the power of laws, a concept that focused on the extremes of an aspect of existence as any being capable of comprehending and assimilating a law into them was bound to be someone of immense power.
And now…
THRUM!
Noah put aside the wondrous looking [Unique Skill Book] and even the [WORLD Rank Cores that should be able to push him from the Soul Realm and into the world Realm, his hands just grasping onto the glimmering dark crystal that shone menacingly.
Truth be told, even Noah was surprised at the level of speed he was getting things that he considered to be pristine loot that would only appear after years passed with someone rising in power! He had only finished comprehending multiple Universal Laws during this trip as aside from Aether, he was able to have Life, Darkness, and Light both hit the 100% cap for comprehension as they were currently in the process of Assimilation.
So he just began assimilating laws, and now he already had gotten his hands on something like a [Dao Crystal of Destruction] that would open an even grander path for him!
This caused Noah to think deeply about the System that made this all possible, his thoughts now fully heading towards the direction of trying to understand the mysteriousness of the Idle Gaming System.
Why was such a thing granted to him? Was an existence responsible for it? What were all of these Planes he was getting sent to when he utilized the features of the System like the Infinite Crucible, Tower of Champions, and now the Incandescent Fate Treasure Plane? The mystery behind his Units and how he could easily fuse them with the loot he obtained through the System?... There seemed to be endless questions with no answers as Noah breathed out slowly.
He would take it all one step at a time.
Right now, it was the Dao Crystal in front of him!
[Dao Crystal of Destruction] :: A Dao Crystal holding slivers of the essence of the Grand Dao of Destruction. Destruction is a path that only the disciplined existences capable of carrying out controlled carnage, this path even being able to lead to the Abstruse Cosmic Daos that stand above many supreme existences if one understands it enough. Absorption grants +.1% Comprehension in the Grand Dao of Destruction.

Noah was breathless at the description as even his 12 Units pooled in around him to look at this wondrous treasure with envious eyes.
A Grand Dao!
Noah didn't fully know this yet, but the ranks of Daos were listed from Lesser, Grand, and Cosmic. Universal Laws were ranked from Normal to High Tier Laws, where others even went as far as making the distinction of High Tier Laws into Supreme of Ultimate Laws.
The first set of laws that Noah learned...were actually High Tier Laws that could be considered Supreme or Ultimate Laws! Now, he was about to get his hands on a Concept of an Extreme, of a fantastical thing that was known as a Dao...and he directly skipped over the Lesser Stage and was about to grab on to a Grand Dao!
RUMBLE!
Noah could wait no longer.
He closed his eyes as his hands fully wrapped around the obsidian crystal, essence that caused the very surroundings to shake beginning to pour out as it entered his body and went into his Origin.
His body quivered slightly at the intrusion of the very Essence of Destruction that began to wrap around his Origin, this essence even causing the lines of Fate and Chaos particles within him to turn docile as it fully delved in and made his Origin its home!
WAA!
The absorption of the Dao Crystal was extremely fast, the color from it very quickly fading away as everything about it entered Noah's Origin- the crystal itself disappearing into particles soon after.
Noah opened his eyes a second later as a dense streak of darkness flashed from his blue eyes, his body beginning to vibrate with power as he circulated his mana while calling upon the Grand Dao of Destruction!
BZZZT!
His surroundings shook at the mere pressure he released, Noah not being able to help as a smile appeared on his face. He reeled in the aura while looking at a new area that had appeared under his Status Panel.
[Daos] :: Grand Dao of Destruction(.1)- +50% Increased Destruction Damage, +100% Resistance to All Laws and Daos, The Effects of [Disintegration], [Corruption], and [Withering] are applied to all attacks reinforced with the Dao of Destruction. Achieving complete Comprehension in the Dao allows one to birth a Domain of Destruction where all attacks are further enhanced by 5000%. Complete Assimilation of the Dao allows a being to become a Controller of the Dao, gaining an authority to utilize it at an unimaginable scale…

This was what Noah had just gotten his hands on! He could feel that his mental energies would be able to deal a crazy amount of damage as they were now enhanced by multiple High Tier Laws and even a Dao. To more accurately assess his strength, he would need to do some tests later as he understood just what it meant to have the essence of Destruction backing him.
He had lost over 30 SOUL Ran Units just to grind down a WORLD Rank Rift Boss that could use a glimmer of Destruction, so he had great expectations for it!
He then glanced at the other Loot floating around him as he pulled in the Unique Skill book that enticed his mind from the hundreds of skill books he received every day.
[Unique Skill Book- Fate Scryer] :: Grands the Unique Ability Fate Scryer that allows the user to more aptly look into their fate as the most optimal directions are shown to them. A must have ability for beginner Fate Traversers.
"Hmm?"
His blue eyes flashed brightly as he absorbed the knowledge of the skill book right away, a skill appearing within his Status Panel as he utilized it right away!

He already knew what he should do just from his preliminary views on Fate and Chaos when he reached complete comprehension, but a technique that was made precisely for it was not something he would deny.
Lines of golden fate erupted from him as his surroundings became hazy, Noah's consciousness being shown three golden lines and three dark lines leading to vastly different directions.
When he gazed on the dark lines, he saw himself in isolation as he did nothing but hide within his Ethereal Realm, the futures for these paths not being the best as it was either Death or something even more dreadful!
Then there were the three golden paths.
Glowing brightly and enticing him, he looked at the first.
"Join the powers of the Sublunary Plane and lead months of peace...limited growth over time but little conflict…"
RUMBLE!
Then onto the second golden path!
"Become a Dimensional Ruler that stands against the powers of the Sublunary Plane...arduous and would take quite some time, facing never ending waves of enemies…"
Noah's eyes shone ever so brighter as he gleaned information from the golden paths, his eyes landing on the last one as it shone the brightest at this time.
"Work with those around me and even accept allies from the Sublunary Plane for the fastest growth rate and even create the roadwork for a connection with the Empyrean Plane…!"
BZZZT!
This golden path shone the brightest as the moment Noah finished looking into it, he was taken out of the mysterious state as the fate lines around him died down.
His eyes shone with a clear blue luster as his mind was opened up to even more possibilities, his steps light and filled with purpose as he went towards the glimmering gold portal while placing his Units back in the Inventory.
It was a truly fruitful Fate Treasure Plane as the things he obtained within were simply too valuable, with him stepping out of it now having comprehended multiple Laws to completion as he even held a Dao with him!
This wasn't to mention the WORLD Rank Cores he was already starting to absorb that would catapult him into this rank at speeds other beings would only ever dream of.
After all this....it was to fully step out of the Ethereal Realm as he began to explore the vast Sublunary Plane he was in, a future that he didn't fully understand waiting for him as it promised of greatness!
