Frono FC were really starting to feel the immense force from Unique FC now, they thought they had hope when the first half ended with the scoreline being just one goal to nothing, but now that they just conceded two goals in a space of four minutes, that hope was starting to fly out of the stadium.
"There's still a lot of time for Frono FC to get back in the game, but do they really have what it takes to make that happen?"
"Looks like Unique FC are paying back for what they did to them last season, and that's something you like to see football," Steve commented.
They were trying their best to keep the ball away from Unique FC or perhaps they were being a little too cautious because it's been a minute now and they've not made any attempts in moving forward.
"Dave just got his third goal of the league season, and just thinking about that, it's pretty wild considering there are forwards and midfielders who haven't scored up to three goals this season while a goalkeeper has." Jim articulated.
"Yeah, I was just thinking about that, three goals and five assists, those stats look like they belong to a midfielder, not a goalkeeper, eight goal contributions so far this season, wild." Steve expressed.
It looked like Frono FC had realized that they were just hurting themselves by keeping the ball to themselves because they were finally moving it forward now with the hopes that they would be able to pull one back through any means.
Darwin received the ball as he ran down through the middle, and just before Martinez could get to him, he pushed the ball back to Ahmed with a backheel pass.
"Nice pass back to Ahmed."
As soon as Ahmed got his foot on the ball, he quickly turned to the right and sent it flying over to Seth.
"Over to Seth."
Seth brought the ball down with his chest and trapped it under his foot.
Roland was quickly heading toward him now, but just before the wingback could get to him, he sent the ball rolling back to Ahmed who quickly evaded Ferran to move back and pass it to the midfielder on the right.
The midfielder quickly sent the ball flying over to Torres on the left with his first touch.
"Trying to find Torres on the left now."
The left-back had both Martinez and Norman heading toward him at that time, but he was able to nod the ball back to Ahmed before they could do anything to dispossess him.
As soon as Ahmed got his foot on the ball, he feigned firing toward the goalpost before he sent the ball flying over to Seth on the right.
The winger had Roland right on him, and the left back wasn't giving him any space.
He was able to get his foot on the ball though but the wingback wasn't making getting through easy for him.
In the end, the winger made the smart decision of pushing the ball back to their right back Jeremy who was right behind him.
"Sends it back to Jeremy, Seth isn't having a great time in this match and it's all because of Roland."
The winger quickly rushed back into the box while asking for the ball back from Jeremy.
The right-back did as he was told but that was a mistake as Roland was able to get in front of the winger right at that time, and all it took was a little push to get the ball to Adolf who quickly sent the ball flying over to Ferran.
"Nice defending from Roland, the Uniques are back with the ball now."
As soon as Ferran got his foot on the ball he quickly turned with it and began to push down the middle with it.
The defense were still moving back to get to their positions at this moment while the other players were quickly rushing forward from behind.
Ahmed quickly raced toward the midfielder to try and dispossess him from behind, but just as he got close to him, he quickly pulled back and sent it rolling to Mateo who was a little further down the left wing.
"Mateo."
The winger wasn't able to get far with the ball all thanks to Jeremy who quickly closed up on him and swept the ball off his feet bringing the winger down in the process.
The referee quickly blew his whistle before pointing to the area.
It was a free kick for Unique FC and Jeremy wasn't happy with that as he threw the ball on the floor before walking off.
"I don't know what he's mad about, that wasn't a clean tackle," Jim commented.
"Well, tempers rise unnecessarily when you're losing a match by a scoreline like this one."
The spot where they were going to be taking the free kick wasn't that close enough to take the shot directly unless you were Dave, but Dave would still find it hard to score a free kick from there because he wouldn't be catching the goalkeeper off guard.
This was a ball that needed to be sent into the box and cause confusion, and the task of sending it in was left to Minino who was standing over the ball now.
Since it was a free kick on Frono's side of the pitch they got to set up a wall but as soon as Minino heard the referee's whistle, he completely ignored that wall and sent the ball flying into the box.
Ferran was right at the edge of the box and from there he managed to get his head on the ball and send it flying toward the right side of the goalpost.
However, his effort ended up hitting the post before rolling to the feet of one of the Frono FC's defenders inside the box.
"Oh, no! It's the woodwork!"
The player could have just blasted the ball away to wherever but he thought maybe they could pull something off from this.
He quickly sent the ball rolling to the other center back who was on the right just before Merino could get to him.
What the defender wanted to do was to quickly send the ball flying toward Seth, but in his attempt to send it flying out, his foot ended up missing the ball completely.
It was at that moment that Mateo quickly took the ball while the defender's leg was still trying to come down.
He instantly moved into the box with it, and without hesitation, he fired it toward the right side of the goalpost.
Emerson was quite slow to react to that one and that was because he didn't quite get what happened there.
Ultimately, it was a pretty easy goal for Unique FC's number ten.
"And he does it again!"
Mateo raced off to the side as soon as he saw that go in, he was screaming at the top of his voice now and even ended up jumping into the stands and the fans there felt blessed having to place their hand on the footballing wonder.
"The wonder kid strikes again! They are pulverizing Frono FC!"
Frono FC players had devastated looks on their faces now while Emerson was just yelling at the defender who caused the goal.
<I knew you guys were going to win but I wasn't expecting four goals>
'It's quite surprising to see you surprised.'
"Looks like the hole just got deeper for Frono FC, they'll need more than just their hands to climb out of this one," Steve commented.
