It was already morning as the bright rays of the bright morning shone into the room through the glass window, and just as the rays fell on Dave's face, he slowly opened his eyes.

"Where am I?" He muttered before slowly sitting up on the bed with his hand on his head. "Awww."

<What type of question is that supposed to be?>

"Oh, you're awake?"

He slowly turned his gaze to the door to see Emma entering the room with a tray in her hand.

"I thought it would be nice for you to have breakfast in bed today after your magnificent feat last night." She said before dropping the tray on the table beside the bed. "I made Bacon and egg but I need your preference on what you would like to drink."

"Drink?"

"Yeah, tea or coffee?" She asked.

"I think I'll take coffee." He said.

"Okay, then."

She was about to start heading toward the exit when he grabbed her by her wrist.

"Wait."

"What is it?" She asked after turning her gaze back to him.

"Um…do you have any idea how I got home last night?" He asked.

His cheek was turning red in embarrassment just as the things that happened last night before he passed out came back to him.

She didn't say anything for about seven seconds before she suddenly burst into a feat of laughter.

"Hey, what's funny?"

"You think you came home last night?" She was still laughing as she said those words.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" The goalkeeper said with a confused expression on his face.

'Can't you just tell me, Catherine? I can sense she's about to start mocking me.'

<No, hear it from her>

"Huh? If I didn't come home last night, then how am I here now?" He asked with a confused expression on his face.

"No, you're just lucky you had Mateo to drag you home." She said.

"Mateo?"

"Yeah, he's the one that brought you home last night, you were completely wasted." She said before crossing her arms.

'Oh, now I remember, I was trying to make him drink that thing.'

<You're lucky he didn't drink it>

"Oh, so that's what happened." He said before slowly putting his head down.

She kept his gaze on him for a while with a smile on her face before turning toward the exit.

"What do you think I meant when I said you deserved breakfast in bed after your magnificent feat last night?" She asked as she made her way to the door.

"Wait, you weren't talking about the match?"

"Of course, I wasn't." She said before leaving the room.

He kept his gaze on the door for a while with a stunned look on his face before he suddenly crashed down on the bed.

"I'm done for today."

<You certainly are>

To make up for what happened last night, Emma had to leave some of the chores she was used to doing during the weekends for him to take care of.

She was busy laughing her out in the living room as she happened to be watching something funny when Dave walked into the room from the kitchen, he was wiping his hands with a cloth.

"Hey, babe, I'm done cleaning up your kitchen." He said, but she kept her gaze on the television as she continued laughing her heart out.

"I can see, you're enjoying yourself." He said after getting a little closer to her.

"Oh, I'm sorry, babe." She said before slowly turning her gaze to him. "What did you say?"

"I said I'm done with the kitchen." He said.

"Oh, that's nice, then you can just go upstairs and do the laundry." She said,

"Laundry? Seriously?" The goalkeeper said before letting out a deep sigh.

"It's the last one for today." She said,

"That's what you said when you told me to clean the kitchen." He said.

"I wanted to do it until I started watching this ridiculous show, so you have to deal with it now." She said. "You were the one that promised to help me today to make up for last night, it's not like I forced you or anything, are you going to break your promise now?"

"Fine, I'll go do it even though you were the one that forced me to make that promise." He said before he began to make his way toward the staircase.

"Yes, that's what you get for making a pregnant lady carry you up the stairs." She smirked before turning her gaze back to what she was watching.

There were matches today being Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday but because of Unique FC's match against FC Basel on Saturday, their own match was going to be on Wednesday, Norman gave them a day off on Sunday and some of them were going to put it to good use.

That included Mateo who already plans with someone that afternoon.

Amber had just walked out of her house putting on a red sleeveless dress that was only able to get to her knees in length.

She had her hair tied back and it didn't look like she was putting on that much makeup.

"He should be here by now." She said before raising her watch to check the time.

As soon as she did that, she heard the sound of a car engine as a car suddenly pulled up in front of her.

"Hey," Mateo said before opening the door for her.

"I was expecting you to be a little late." She said as she made her way to the car.

"I don't like to keep people waiting." The winger said. "You look nice by the way."

"Thank you." She smiled before entering the car.

Nothing was said between them for the first few minutes of the drive until Mateo decided to say something.

"You left pretty early after last night's match." He said.

"Yeah, I had something to finish, I think I told you about it." She said.

"Yeah, I was just saying, I know that's why you left." He said. "Do your parents also live here in Unique City?"

"No, we moved to Spain right when I was six years old because my dad found a better job there, that's where I went to school and did everything, I just decided to come home after graduating and now I have a job so I'm going to stay here for a while." She explained.

"You grew up in Spain, cool, so you can speak Spanish, right?"

"Yeah." She responded with a nod.

"You know, I may be moving to a Spanish club next season, a few Spanish lessons won't be bad, don't you think?" He expressed before turning his gaze to her.

"I don't really have that much time to spare except during weekends, but sure, I'll do it for you." She said.

"You'll do it for me, that's sweet."

"Um…that's…."

"Huh?"

"Nevermind." She said before slowly putting her head down.

"Okay." He said before turning his gaze back to the road.

"So…."

"We're almost there."

Whatever she wanted to say she wasn't able to finish as Mateo suddenly stepped on the accelerator causing her to suddenly fall back in her seat.
