Supreme United ended up beating Black Roz FC five goals to one and that saw them move to the top of the top with twelve points, Dave wasn't happy about it just like his teammates and Dynamo FC players but there was nothing he could do about it, the only thing they could do now was try not to fall off too much, clinging to third place and trying to surpass Dynamo FC was their goal at the moment.

Their next match next week was against Tereville United away from home and that match was way tougher than they imagined.

The first was quite hectic with a lot of defensive errors coming from the defense but they were lucky Dave was there to stop the ball before anything deadly happened.

Tereville United even managed to score a goal but it was ruled offside to the relief of Unique FC.

They had pretty good chances in that first half but Mateo was missing a lot of chances which wasn't like him at all and on top of that, he was being heavily marked and had not been able to create the space to do what he does best.

The first half ended goalless but everyone watching the match knew that Tereville United wanted it more, Unique FC may have gotten sixty-five percent of ball possession compared to their thirty-five but they had eight shots with six being on target while Unique FC had just four shots with only one being on target.

Luckily for the team, Norman was able to figure out what was wrong and had a good if not perfect countermeasure for it.

In the second half, things got a bit better for Unique FC and a little bit of the pressure was taken off but Tereville United still had that zeal and they were attacking with everything they had.

They were sitting at the bottom of the table with only one point so far this season and they were desperately in need of a win.

Unfortunately, things started to fall apart for them after Mateo won a penalty kick which he glued the goalkeeper to a spot to put away.

After taking the lead from the penalty spot, Unique FC slowly began to take control of the match and just in the eighty-fifth minute Ferran sent the ball flying toward the goalpost from twenty-five yards out after receiving the ball from Roland.

The ball was sent flying toward the top left-hand side of the goalpost as the goalkeeper dived toward it, but he wasn't able to get to it on time as the ball hit the angle before falling into the goalpost.

"Oh, what a strike from Ferran!" Jim exclaimed.

"At this juncture, the game is sealed, it's another win for Unique FC."

Tereville United really fought hard to get a goal but they were quite unlucky as Unique FC ran away with a two-goal victory.

Unique FC's next match was against Zilo FC and it was also away from home.

Unique FC dominated the match right from the first half but no matter how much they tried, they weren't able to get the ball into Zilo FC's goalpost as they seemed to be parking bus.

All they were doing was defending while Unique FC were trying their possible best to get a goal, they desperately searched for a goal but they weren't able to find it until the referee blew his whistle to bring the first half to an end.

Norman was resting a few of his stars like Roland and Martinez but despite that, Zilo FC weren't able to do anything to them attacking-wise, they looked quite mediocre.

The second half was when things started to get interesting as Zilo FC started to open up their defense a lot bit, they were attacking more now as a result of that, but that was quite a big mistake from their side as what they just did was give Mateo just the right amount of space that he needed to rain havoc on their defense.

Unique FC came really close to opening the score in the fiftieth minute when Mateo floated in a cross from the wing.

Fredinho hit his head on the ball and instead of putting it up he decided to put it down but his effort ended up hitting the post before rolling out for a goal kick.

A few minutes after that, Unique FC won a free kick right at the edge of the box and it was clear who was going to be taking it as he was standing over the ball now with his hands on his waist.

Once the walls were formed and everything was ready, the referee blew his whistle.

The winger stared at the ball for a while from where he was standing before he quickly closed up on it and fired it toward the goalpost from below.

The ball was sent rolling toward the bottom left-hand side as the goalkeeper quickly dived toward it.

He managed to get his hand on it, but it wasn't enough to push it out as the ball ended up rolling into the goalpost.

"It's in! The deadlock is finally broken!" Jim exclaimed as Mateo got pulled down to the ground by his teammates. "How good is this kid?! Two goals from free-kick tries this season!"

"And not only that, he's just extended his streak, he has now scored in six consecutive games this season," Steve said.

That goal shattered the spirits of Zilo FC players and fans but instead of attacking with everything they've got to try and get an equalizer, they decided to park the bus once again.

They had only three shots and none of them were on target so it wasn't an exaggeration to say that Dave was watching a Netflix show back at his goalpost.

Unique FC attacked with everything they had trying to get a second goal, but they weren't able to get it until the last minute.

As soon as the referee blew his whistle thrice to bring the match to an end, Dave along with most of his teammates raised their hands as they made their way to the sidelines.

"There's the whistle, another win in the bag for Unique FC," Jim said.

"There were a lot of doubts on if they would be able to fight for the title this season, but they're proving the haters, five wins and a loss in six matches." Steve expressed.

"And not only that, their players are breaking records and setting records, Mateo has now equaled Roland Hill's record of consecutive matches without failing to score a goal and he may even go ahead to break it." Jim expressed. "Dave Richards is also on his way to breaking the record for the most consecutive clean sheets in a season."

"Yeah, this match was quite a hectic one but Zilo FC made it somewhat boring, who knows if Unique FC would have gotten a goal if it wasn't for that free kick."

"This season is turning out to be a blast," Dave said with an excited voice as he headed down the tunnel with his teammates.

<The ball hasn't gone past you in five matches, that's something to be proud of>

'Yeah.'
