"Yeah, it was a very nice day but I'm pretty sure Mateo enjoyed it more than I did." The goalkeeper said before turning his gaze to Mateo who was lying on his bed, going through his phone and pretending not to hear what they were saying.

Dave was also lying on his bed with his phone placed, the call was on loudspeaker so it was easy to tell that he was speaking with Emma.

"I see you guys are having a lot of fun over there." She said.

"Hey, are you okay? Your voice sounds sort of strange." He said.

"Well, I've been feeling a bit nauseous recently but it's nothing to worry about, I'm okay." She replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, don't worry, just focus on what you're doing over there." She said, "You have something to deal with tomorrow, right? I think I should allow you to get some sleep."

"Hey, not yet, I'm not feeling sleepy yet." The goalkeeper said.

"You rarely feel sleepy at night but it's necessary that you go to bed early if you have something important to do the next day, especially when it's something that requires physical energy." She expressed. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

"Yeah, but I guess they can wait." He replied.

"Okay, then, good night." She said, "I love you." She added before ending the call.

"I love you too." He muttered before dropping his phone and turning his gaze to Mateo. "You should also get some sleep, Mateo."

"Yeah, you're right." The winger said before dropping his phone.

He stretched his hands and body before turning to face the other side.

"Good night roomie." He said.

"Good night," Dave said before turning to face the ceiling.

'Now, let's get to training, Cat.'

______ ______

After hours of sleeping, a new day came forth but it wasn't a bright new day like the previous days, the sky was dark, and looking out from the windows in the room, tiny drops of water were beginning to drop from the sky.

Dave was the first to get up today and after opening his eyes, he turned his gaze to Mateo to see that he was very much still fast asleep on his bed.

'That was pretty spicy, Cat, but not spicy enough, you should think of adding a little more spice next time.' The goalkeeper said subconsciously after sitting up on his bed.

<Noted>

"Would you look at that?" He said after turning his gaze to the windows to see that the sky was dark, and it was starting to pour down now.

He got up from his bed and slowly made his way to the window on the right, he stared through it for a while before he heard Mateo move on his bed.

"It's raining? Seriously?" The winger complained. "I just hope it dies down before our morning training session."

"I think it will be pretty nice to train under the rain," Dave said.

_______ ________

The match against Sheffield United was going to kick off in the evening but unlike the other ones, it was going to kick off early in the evening by 5:30 PM so they had to take care of the training session as fast as possible and go get ready to start moving out when the time to move out arrives.

The players were currently training on the pitch near the hotel, and to Mateo's detest, it was still pouring down from the sky but it wasn't as heavy as it was earlier that morning.

They thought slowing down meant that it would soon stop, but it kept pouring down little by little and kept on doing its job of keeping everything wet.

The players were completely drenched but the effects of their body and the terrain wasn't enough to stop them from getting the job done.

"I don't see any trouble with playing in the rain, yeah it can affect the play on the field, makes our body heavy and one could possibly catch a cold out here, but it's not that all bad." The goalkeeper said before passing the ball to his teammate.

"You just listed the reasons why I hate it, but what choice do I have?" The winger said before passing the ball back to him.

The training session had come to an end and now the players had to quickly make their way back to the hotel and get warm before they would meet up with Norman in the large room to listen to what he had to say about tactics and which players were going to be starting.

After having their lunch, the players reported to the room all wearing Unique FC's black and orange jackets and trousers, it was still raining outside so those were the only proper outfits for them to put on.

They met up with Norman there all dressed up for the match because immediately after filling them in on all those information, they will immediately make their way outside and start their journey to the Reale Arena.

"Alright guys, before I start with the tactics, you guys should know who and who will be starting this match," Norman said. "We'll be facing FC Barcelona after this match so it's necessary to try as much as possible to conserve as much energy as we can, it's clear that match is going to be our toughest."

'I can't wait.'

"Dave will be starting in between the sticks but may be replaced by Alexander soon, I just need to get a feeling of the match. "

"Soon?" The goalkeeper muttered.

"In defense, Norman will start on the right, Adolf and Pirlo in the middle, and Jonas on the left. In midfield, we will have Harry on the right, Henry in the middle but he will be switched to attacking midfield soon and Minino on the right."

"I guess I'm back to my old position," Minino said.

"In attack, we have Fred in the middle, Carlos on the right, and Mateo on the left."

'That's pretty much everyone in the starting eleven.' Dave said subconsciously.

"I studied the highlights of Sheffield United's last five matches and discovered that their manager used almost the same tactics in those matches and with that piece of information, I think I know how to cut their wings."

After filling them in on the tactics, the players made their way outside to find the bus already waiting for them.

After an hour and about forty minutes on the road, the players arrived at the Reale Arena and they arrived pretty early as the time being displayed on all their watches was 4:41 PM.

It was also raining there, and the worst part was that the rain happened to be more intense there so the players had to quickly rush into the building before they got completely drenched by it.

"I thought it was going to be less here but it turned out to be the exact opposite," Mateo said as he let out muffled breathing.
