Dave and Mateo had spotted a shop for sports equipment at the start of their stroll but they ignored it and now that they were returning, it was time to go check it out.

The shop was pretty large and the exterior was mostly made of glass.

"It's a nice shop," Dave muttered as the two made their way into the building.

The shop was just as large as the outside suggested with different sections of different sports equipment.

"So what are we looking for?" The goalkeeper asked as he looked around the area.

"A pair of gloves and a pair of shin guards, right?" Mateo said.

"Yeah," Dave replied with a nod.

There weren't many people in the shop so none of the areas or sections were crowded.

After looking around for a while the two began to work closer to the products to find what they were looking for but it looked like the only things in the first stacks of counters were boots, balls, and football kits of some of the stars of Laliga.

"I understand that the place is huge and all but it's a shop for sports equipment, it's not like looking for sports equipment in a random grocery store, finding those things isn't supposed to be this hard." Mateo expressed as soon as they stopped in front of a very large shoe rack filled with nice-looking boots.

"I was just about to say the same."

<Are you sure about that>

"I see you guys are having trouble finding what you're looking for too."

That was a soft and feminine voice and just as the two turned back to see who it had come from, they realized that they were right.

Standing in front of them now was a slender looking female with blonde hair, she had an oval face, a pair of green eyes, a small nose, and small pink lips.

She was a pretty girl, nothing much to say there.

She seemed to be as tall as Mateo but on closer look, Mateo happened to be the taller person and she was putting on the gold Barcelona shirt with a pair of black trousers.

"Hello." She said as soon as the two men turned to her and they had to return the greeting.

"So, what are you two looking for?" She asked.

"Um… .a pair of gloves for him and a pair of shin guards for me. " Mateo replied.

"Gloves and shin guards." She muttered. "You guys are clearly looking in the wrong place."

"Huh?"

"You should have just gone to the west side." She said.

"West side?" Dave said with a confused expression on his face.

"Just follow me." She shook her head and rolled her eyes before she turned and began to make her way toward the area.

"So, do you like… work here?" Mateo asked on their way to the area.

"I think that's pretty obvious when someone just decides to show you where the things you're looking for are." She replied.

"Oh."

'I guess that was a pretty stupid question.'

"No, I don't work here." She said,

That wasn't something Mateo was expecting to hear after listening to the first response she gave him.

"Huh? Then why are you taking us to where what we want is?" The winger asked.

"My dad owns this shop." She replied.

"Oh." The winger said.

"I just come here to help him sometimes or whenever I need to take something."

"Take something? What could you possibly want to take in a shop for sports equipment?"

"A pair of boots, socks, shin guards, and maybe a new kit." She replied.

"Oh, so you play football," Mateo said.

"Yeah." She replied with a nod.

"And what did you come to take this time?"

"New boots." She replied. "My dad says I have to start paying for the things I take but who cares, he'll have to catch me first." She added with a little chuckle that forced out a smile from Mateo.

"I think this is the place, Mateo," Dave said.

He had stopped moving and was now looking around the long counters filled with boots, and shin guards. There were even whistles and other things hanging around in the area.

"Mateo." The girl muttered with her gaze on Mateo.

"I guess you should get going now." The winger said.

"Yeah." She said with a nod.

"Ummm… .you know I never got your name." The winger said.

"You want to know my name?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, it's Sofia, Sofia Andres." She said,

"Sofia," Mateo said.

"What about you?" She asked.

"Mateo Smith," Mateo replied.

"So, it really is you." She said as her face suddenly lit up.

"Huh?" Mateo was a bit confused here.

"You're a Unique FC player, right?" She asked.

"Yeah." The winger replied with a nod.

"Then that means that your friend over there is Dave Richards, your goalkeeper." She said,

"Yeah." The winger replied.

He was about to say something but before he could say it, she was gone and when he turned toward the area where Dave was trying to find the right gloves, he could see that she was standing right in front of him.

The winger let out a deep sigh before he began to make his way to the area.

"I was at the stadium that day when you guys faced off against Manchester United, I thought they were going to pound you guys but to my greatest surprise that didn't happen because you were impenetrable, those saves were crazy. "

She was now acting like a little girl who saw something cool for the first time and just couldn't stop talking about it.

"You single-handedly stopped them from scoring."

"My teammates had big roles to play in it too," Dave said.

"Stop trying to be modest, everyone knows that defense was shit." She said,

"They got better in the second half have you forgotten?"

"Yeah, but you were exceptional that day, I can't believe I wasn't able to recognize you."

"Okay, thanks for the recognition." The goalkeeper said before turning his gaze back to the boots.

"Um…you know I was about to head to the small pitch where I train with my friends, um…maybe you could show up as a special guest if you're not busy that is." She requested.

"Special guest," Dave muttered.

"And you too." She said before turning her gaze to Mateo who was looking through the shin guards section now.

"Huh?" The winger said before turning his gaze to her.

"You're a wonderful player too, the way you play reminds me a little of Ciro and that goal that day was exceptional, it would have secured the win for you guys that day if that own goal had not happened." She expressed. "Please will you guys come train with us today?"

"Uh... I don't know." The winger said before bringing up his watch to his gaze to see that the time was 11:50 AM.

"Sure, we'll go with you, we still have a lot of time left, we don't have any match today and our training session was canceled." The goalkeeper articulated. "I was thinking of having a private training session, so it works for me."

"Really?" She said as her face suddenly lit up with a bright smile.
