The game was still going on between team Mateo and Dave and team Double M according to Edward.

"Mateo and Dave have nine points with Double M just one point behind them, they just need to get the point for this round and they'll be the winners but if Double M gets the point then the game will be extended," Edward said.

"I wasn't expecting the game to close up like this," Adolf said before crossing his arms.

"Mateo has been the one doing most of the work, Dave has just been dropping the ball with almost every touch like he's not concentrating," Pirlo said.

"We're winning this thing," Mateo said before lifting the ball with his foot. "Dave, please concentrate, I'm going to need you if we're going to win this."

"Okay," Dave said with a nod.

<You have every right to be worried, I would be worried if I could be worried>

Mateo jogged the ball with almost every part of his legs before playing it up and catching it with his head.

He jogged the ball with his head for a little while before bringing it down to his feet and passing it to Dave.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Mateo," Adolf muttered.

Dave jogged the ball with his feet to be safe and after a little while of jogging, he sent it back to Mateo who caught it in between his legs and quickly flicked it up before turning to send it to Double M's side with a smashing kick.

They were starting to adapt to his smash kicks now and so far they had managed to stop four of his smashing kicks.

Merino made way for the ball to hit the floor once before he quickly rushed to it and sent it to Minino with a header.

Minino had a cheeky trick up his sleeves as he quickly flicked the ball so close to Dave and Mateo's side.

Mateo was quick enough to understand what he was about to do as he quickly slid to the ball and caught it with his head before it could hit the floor the second time.

"Oh, no you don't." The winger muttered before he began to jog the ball with his head as he slowly got up from the floor. "You had your advantage and you were so close to making good use of it, but close is nothing when you fail to make the point."

"Merino, go long!" Minino yelled as he got ready for whatever Mateo was planning.

A smile lit up on the nineteen-year-old winger's face as this was exactly what he wanted.

While Merino was running back, he quickly lobbed the ball to the middle.

"Behind you Merino!" Minino yelled as the ball hit the floor.

Merino quickly turned but it was already too late as the ball had already bounced on the floor the second time and rolled to his feet.

"It's ten points to eight, team Dave and Mateo get the win," Edward said.

"The kid played with your minds and it walked quite well for him," Adolf said with a little chuckle.

"Do you two want to have a go?" The winger asked, looking at Adolf and Pirlo.

"Sure," Pirlo said with a nod.

"You'll have to find another teammate Mateo," Dave said before quickly making his way to the door leading into Ferran's main house.

Mateo watched him until he opened the door and quickly made his way into the room.

"Emma and Ferran haven't returned since they left their room." He said in realization.

The goalkeeper didn't even care about the quest completed message on his screen as he quickly made his way down the hallway.

"Where could they be in this huge place?" He muttered as he made his way down the area.

<I think you should be more worried about what they might be doing together>

'What do you mean?'

<Let your brain process it>

'She would never.'

<You can't be so sure of that>

He increased his pace as he neared a narrow turn in the hallway and just as he was about to turn into the hallway, he ran into Emma who was also quickly making her way toward the area at that exact time.

Emma lost her balance after running into him and had almost fallen but Dave was quick enough to catch her before she hit the floor.

"Are you okay?" Dave asked, looking at her.

"Yeah." She said with a nod.

She wasn't panting but her breathing was a bit paced.

"You came to look for me." She said with a smile on her face after getting up back on her feet.

"Yeah, your nose powdering session has lasted for more than twenty minutes." He said, checking his watch. "You haven't been in the bathroom all this while have you?"

"No." She said, shaking her head. "I should have been back a long time ago but Ferran offered to show me around and I said yes because he said it wasn't going to take long."

"He offered to show you around his house?"

"Yeah."

"Was his bedroom part of the places he showed you?" The goalkeeper asked.

"No," Emma replied, shaking her head.

"Okay, but where is he?"

"Um....he's coming." She replied. "I am so glad to see you." She added before wrapping her arms around him.

"Me too," Dave muttered. "Why were you walking like someone was chasing you?"

"Nobody was chasing me, I just wanted to return to the party as fast as possible." She replied before pulling out of the hug.

Dave had a lot of other questions to ask and he had some for Ferran too but he decided to keep them to himself for now.

"Let's head back now, it's almost time to start heading back." He said.

"Okay." She said before quickly wrapping her arms around his.

Dave was still trying to process the situation, how he ran into her, the answers she had given him, and how Ferran was nowhere to be found.

He trusted Emma, he really did but for some reason, the answers she had given him didn't sound that convincing to him.

<She's telling the truth, apart from the reply she gave you when you asked where Ferran was, she's telling the truth>

'How do you know that, you never told me you could read other people's minds?'

<And I still haven't>

'Then how are you so sure that she's telling the truth?'

<I have my ways, you should know that by now>

'Finding your way around a question as usual, can't you just answer a simple question and stop making me more clueless than I was before I asked the question.'

<You shouldn't be complaining, Dave, instead of complaining, you should be happy that you have something like me>

'I just hope your psychic ability is as accurate as I am believing it to be.' Dave replied as he stopped in front of the door leading to the large room with Emma's arms still wrapped around his.
