His opponent is merely a 2nd cycle Body Mage while Rezen is a 3rd cycle Deviant Mage. There was a large difference in strength between the two of them and someone like Rezen could defeat someone like Narrow Eye
As Rezen attacks the floating cubes gave way as if they are dodging a plague. They gave enough space for Rezen's magic to hit its intended target and he succeeded without a surprise
"Aarrrghhh!!"
Narrow Eye was thrown in the air as the stream of solar energy hits him. His body emits smoke as if someone is cooking him while his back slams on another floating cube
From just that one attack Rezen rendered his opponent unconscious and he easily won his one-on-one battle
"Congratulations, you passed. You can now go take the last test" the Instructor almost ate her words with how fast she was speaking
As if she cannot wait to send Rezen away she even waved her magic wand and threw him out where another academy staff was waiting to escort him to the examination room
"Now, let's proceed" she said with a sigh of relief. Finally, Rezen is not here and there is no one to help cheat anymore

Just like that, Rezen passed the admission test of the Tryst Academy. Since the academy itself helped him cheat on the previous rounds the written exam was also a breeze
In fact, Rezen felt like he was taking an elementary student's exam. There were few questions related to cultivation and most are just your common questions
There was even a question where Rezen has to answer "1+1". Even though no one told him, he is aware that the set of test questions he received was different from the others

These people that are waiting for him are his tribesmen from the Waterside Tribe
There was the Chief that mostly became responsible to guiding the others. Considering her age, there is almost no chance that she could still increase her cultivation rank
She was already old and nobody expects her to grow into one of the experts of the tribe. But since tribes have a different culture than the city, the tribesmen still respect her as she protected the tribe for decades
Even if the tribesmen grew far stronger than her at the very least they would take care of her

"Yes, I did pass the admission test. Two days from now, I'll start living in Tryst Academy" Rezen replied affirmatively since there was really no reason to hide that
With his confirmation, the tribe cheered at him. The Chief was even especially relieved
"That's good. With a mage attending a second-rate academy, our tribe would have a better future" the Chief said in relief
There is a vast difference between a mage that has the qualifications to take the admission test of a second-rate academy and a mage that passed the admission test
Since a second-rate academy is the best academy that outer wall people could attend if they are not given access to the inner or core walls the students of these academies have high status
At the very least the students could reach the high cycle stage of the Junior Rank. Of course that won't happen in a year or two. It might even take decades but even then a high cycle Junior Mage is still a high cycle Junior Mage
