The snake avatar was hundreds of meters long. Normally, just the presence of this avatar should have already caused the surrounding space to crack
However, because of Claude, the space was reinforced and aside from trembling, the space continue to endure the presence of such an enormous power

The snake avatar slapped its tail on the chains causing some of them to shatter. It also opened its mouth that releases a toxic gas that covered the surroundings

The chains of light sizzled as if they were dipped in acid. Bit by bit, the chains on the Snake Avatar and also on the Blessed Land’s projection were being corroded
“Cough! Cough! Cough!”
Just as things start looking favorable towards Myriad Poison Snake, she suddenly coughed out fresh blood
At normal times, she could just use her power at will. Unfortunately, the chains on her blessed land’s projection were restricting her
She manages to use her power albeit forcefully and that resulted in a backlash
A part of the edge of the world was covered with toxic gas but in the area where Claude can be seen, an area devoid of gas was created
It was as if there was some sort of power blocking the gas from reaching him
With eyes as calm as a serene lake, Claude raises his palm and from it, the image of the chunk of Myriad Poison Snake’s blessed land that he extracted from her appeared
Claude suddenly clenches his fist and the projection turned into pure origin energy that he sent flying in the air
“No! No! No! Claude Preston! Damn you!!” She shrieked miserably as more and more chains of light covered her blessed land’s projection
On Claude’s hand, a chain of light that was connected to the blessed land’s projection can be seen and with a yank of his arm, the projection was pulled towards him
“No! My Blessed Land!”
Myriad Poison Snake stared at the blessed land that was taken by Claude with a look of horror in her eyes
Without her blessed land… she is done for

“Don’t break through and reach the 7th rank. If you want revenge, I would do it for you. But once you become a 7th rank mage… I don’t have a choice but to kill you”
Rezen stared at the text message he received from Claude causing a frown to form on his face

Rezen has his goals. The main goal is the resurrection of his parents and the second one was to erase the Twighlight Beast from this world

But no matter what people think, the death of Myriad Poison Snake is just the beginning. She was just the first untouchable 7th rank mage that would die

On the Ratois Mountain, Rezen could be seen condensing three small magic circles on his palm. Each of the magic circles releases a stream spell that intertwined with each other
The elements were of sun, water, and wind
On the opposite side of him was a person with silver-white hair covered with tattoos from head to toe
This person was none other than Rezen’s first ever subordinate which was Zero
The artificial human releases streams of light elemental energies from his palm and the soles of his feet to fly and dodge the stream spells of three elements
Rezen’s eyes were still as unmoving as before yet he controlled his magic circles and his spell changed direction, chasing Zero that was in the air
“Ha!!”
Zero gathered light elemental energies on his palms and sent multiple light beams to cancel out the [Tri-elemental Stream] spell
“[Combination Magic: Erupting Lava!]”
Rezen slammed his foot on the ground and a large magic circle suddenly appeared and from it, pillars of lava rose in the air
Woosh!
Zero skillfully maneuvered in the air to dodge the pillars of lava that increases the surrounding temperature
He was not as good as Dominant Sky which was understandable but against 5th fusion rank opponents, his flying skill would be deadly to them
“Ha!”
Zero sent multiple beams of light toward his master and Rezen conjured yet another magic circle
“[Ice Shield!]”
A thick shield of ice formed above Rezen that blocks the light beams yet even after just casting a spell, he already condensed two more magic circles
“[Combination Magic: Celestial Collision!]”
The large magic circle spewing out pillars of lava dissipated and the spell was replaced by another spell
Suddenly, Zero found himself sandwiched between two celestial bodies
One of them was a blazing ball of sun and the other was a freezing cold moon
He quickly moved and dodged as the two miniature celestial bodies starts to move and was about to crush him to death
Boom! Bang!
The sun and moon collided with each other, sending terrible shockwaves everywhere. Trees were uprooted and sent flying away, some of them burning, some of them froze, and some suffered from both burns and frost
Rezen continued to manipulate his spell and the miniature sun and moon continued to fly towards Zero while colliding with each other
In just a moment, Zero reached his master and he threw a punch. Just as he thought he succeeded in landing a punch, Rezen suddenly bursts into multiple black crows
“[Crow Substitution Illusion!]”
Zero tried to crush the crows but they were merely illusions and the real Rezen was behind him
“[Shadow Lock!]”
Rezen sent a nail of shadow that landed on Zero’s shadow, locking him in his place
