Chapter 236 236. Aunt Evelyn.
Just a second ago, Isabelle instantly appeared between two places.
At first, she was at the entrance of Kevin's bedroom but now she was directly in his arms.
This is due to the training she's been having with a bunch of other goddesses in Elysium.
The same could be said about Amy and everyone else who were now goddesses themselves with their strength a hundred times more than it was before while they were still mortals.
"How have you been?"
Kevin asked and Isabelle slowly freed her arms from his waist before lifting her gaze to take a look at Kevin's face.
"I'm fine now," Isabelle replied with a smile but felt Kevin's finger slowly lifting her chin while he leaned close to her lips.
Their lips touched and the both of them let go of the other after an intense tongue battle.
"Where are the others? I can't sense them around anywhere," Kevin asked with a concerned look on his face.
Aside from Amy who was currently in the bathroom, Vanessa and Sasha were both in the kitchen and ball room respectively, making necessary preparations for the wedding night.
This meant that of all his seven women, Kevin could only locate four out of them, leaving him a bit confused as to where the others might be.
"Dahlia, Victoria and lady Angelica are all currently handling the tasks your mother set out for them,"
"Hmm, I see. Then I guess I'll be seeing them later,"
Kevin replied, but the moment he did, he could sense someone else presence storming towards his way and a huge smile bloomed across his face.
Isabelle also smiled as well, sensing the same person, just like Kevin.
"It appears you have guest," she remarked.
"It appears so," Kevin approved, then walked out of the bedroom before appearing in the corridor.
He turned to his left and could hear the loud voice of someone dashing towards his way.
"Atrrreeeeuusss!!!"
"Hello aunt Evelyn," he greeted and his aunt Evelyn suddenly appeared before him and a wild gust of wild violently brushed across them due to Evelyn intense speed.
Evelyn had a silver colored hair cascading down her back and even though she was probably above three hundred thousand years of age, her unparalleled youthful appearance which was similar to that of Amy, made it so that one would think she was around the same age as Amy.
And in reality, she wasn't.
"Atreus, I won't let you escape me this time just like your father,"
"Oh? Dad did so? So he's back?"
"Huh? No! He isn't. That isn't what I'm talking about. It's your duty as king to attend to your royal duties and the huge pile of paperwork lined up on your desk,"
"But that's why I have you aunt Evelyn. You're the best in the business when it comes to handling paperwork like these right??"
"No. I refuse to help any of you anymore," she turned around with her arms crossed and a cute pout on her lips.
And with a smile on his face, Kevin walked closer to his aunt before wrapping his arm from behind and hugging her, placing his chin on her shoulder.
"Please aunt Evelyn. Pretty please with a cherry on top," He pleaded but aunt Evelyn wasn't going to fall for one of his favorite tricks again.
"My mind has been made up and the answer is NO," Aunt Evelyn gave a stern response.
"But aunt Evelyn you're a genius. In fact, there's no one else who could even come close to the level of understanding you possess unlike the rest of us,"
Hearing the sweet pleasantry words coming out of Kevin's lips, a smile blossomed on Evelyn's face.
She was weak to remarks like this and Kevin was using this to his benefits.
Evelyn chuckled to herself, replaying Kevin's words in her head over and over again.
"Fufufu, I guess you do have a point, when you put it that way,"
"I know right??"
"Fine, I'll help you for today," Evelyn finally accepted and was slowly turning around to take a good look on her nephew's face while trying to inform him about something.
"But, you'll have to...."
However, Kevin was no longer behind her as he thanked her and vanished from the corridor, leaving behind an echo that reverberated his words as he zoomed off to meet his other women.
"Thank you!!!!!"
Noticing this, Evelyn clenched her fist and bite her lower lips before inhaling a huge chunk of air and releasing it all at once with a bellow.
"ATREUSSSSSS!!!!"
Kevin smiled as he finally made way to the ballroom.
He knew his aunt might sound annoyed by the whole thing, however, deep down he knew she understood the reason why he couldn't return back to the throne to complete his paperwork.
Across the cosmos, there were still a lot of dimensions that had been unexplored by Kevin and there were countless dimensions he had to visited to inform and remind them as to who the omniverse belonged to.
The only thing that saddened Kevin was the fact that Evelyn might be quietly wishing to spend more time with her husband and family.
But as for that, Kevin had decided to reward his aunt with the much needed vacation she's been screaming for the past months.
Meanwhile, upon arriving to the ballroom, Kevin's gaze fell directly upon Sasha who was busy giving instructions to everyone on how she wanted the tables to be arranged for the wedding.
The moment she noticed she was done and could take a breathe for a while, she exhaled deeply, then suddenly felt Kevin's presence behind her.
Sasha instantly turned to her back but suddenly felt her lips locked with her fiance
