Chapter 212 212. Leaving The Party 2.
"That's not really a good idea. Why don't you guys book a room in the hotel and take a nap there?" An unknown voice suddenly said from the back seat of the car, but neither of the two black-suited men noticed the new voice that emerged behind them.
"Nah, we are used to it already. It's the least of our worries after everything Lady Isabelle has done for us."
"Wow!! Really? You guys should certainly be on the list of the best employees of the month, I bet she'll provide you guys with some incentives if you can both work a little harder than you are right now."
The first man chuckled after hearing Kevin's words. " Yeah, it would be a dream come true if she could.... wait what?!"
Both men turned to the side and realized that neither of them was the one initiating or responding to the conversation that was happening a few seconds ago.
They both turned to the back seat, wondering if a ghost had slipped into their car and was now communicating with them, but instead of seeing a ghost, their eyes fell upon Kevin who was seated with a smug smile on his face.
"Sh*t!!" Both men swiftly pulled out their guns and were about to pull the trigger when suddenly, their guns turned into serpents.
"What the?.... Ahh!!" But before they could react in time to what was going on, the serpents instantly wrapped their bodies around their hands while their heads swiftly turned towards the men's faces and they sunk their fangs into the men's nostrils, allowing their venom to course through their veins.
A piercing cry of agony poured out of their mouths, and the scenery around them suddenly changed as both men found themselves in the sky with their necks firmly gripped by Kevin.
Neither of them could comprehend what was going on as everything that had happened before now, happened within a flash.
They had no explanation as to how their guns suddenly turned into snakes or how they suddenly found themselves being flown to the sky with Kevin's grip on their necks.
If it weren't for the cool breeze caressing their skin, they probably would have thought that this was all a dream, but one question continued to plague the minds of both men.
Who exactly was this man?
And how is he able to do all this??
Didn't he step into the hotel just a few minutes ago?
'Then how the h.e.l.l did he appear in the car?'
While their minds hovered around how these were even possible in the first place, Kevin's grip around their necks tightened and their eyes slowly rolled backwards, indicating that they were slowly approaching the brink of death, but Kevin wasn't going to allow them to die just yet.
"Oops, you guys can't fall asleep just yet," His grip around their necks loosened a bit.
"The night is still young, don't you agree?"
"Which means, we've got the whole night to get to know each other better." Kevin released his hands from their necks and both men dropped to the ground.
But instead of falling from the sky the moment Kevin released them, both men felt something solid underneath their feet.
It almost felt like there was a solid transparent slab beneath their feet which was preventing them from falling.
They placed their hands on their sore necks, coughing vigorously, due to the strength that Kevin used to grip both of their necks.
They almost died a few seconds ago, but neither of them even knew what wrong they did in the first place to be treated in such a way.
All they had been asked to do was to spy on this man and now he was about to kill them as though they had wronged him in unimaginable ways.
Maybe, this was the reward they got for all the countless lives they had taken under the orders of their bosses. However, wasn't this death a bit cruel even for the likes of them?
Seeing as how both men were slowly able to observe their surroundings clearly, Kevin hunkered down before them to say.
"Now, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way."
"But you see, the thing is, you could also save yourself by telling me everything I need to know or else.... I'm sure you both understand what happens if I do not get the answers I want."
"So, what's it gonna be boys?"
They both glanced towards each other and agreed to spill the beans.
Although they would both prefer to remain loyal to Isabelle, something told them that Kevin wasn't the kind of guy to offer this kind of opportunity twice.
Moreover, they weren't paid well enough to die for their bosses.
Provided, they could live to see another day, telling Kevin a thing or two wouldn't hurt anyone right??
A smile appeared on Kevin's face when he noticed that both men were willing to cooperate.

Half an hour later, both men suddenly found themselves sitting in the car once again.
But their bodies were still trembling from what occurred a few minutes ago.
Neither of them expected Kevin to give them a time limit to answer all of his questions.
But as they were informing him of the task Isabelle asked them to carry out, they suddenly felt their nose swelling up by the minute, it was then that they recalled the snake bite and the venom coursing through their veins.
Didn't this mean that they were going to die even before they were able to answer all the questions he had for them??
Both men couldn't believe what was happening, however, Kevin offered them a lifeline.
If they were able to answer his questions within a specific time frame, he would provide them with the antidote, this meant that regardless of what choice they made, it was their fate to die by his hands if Kevin wasn't satisfied with the information he got from them.
In the end, he was pleased with what they did, and so offered them the antidote, knowing that he would require their help in the future.
