Meanwhile, back at Kevin's home, Kevin slowly opened his eyes before standing up and stepping out of the tub. He then walked towards the mirror to get a good look at himself.
The first thing he noticed was his sparkling sapphire blue eyes, his brown glossy hair and his snow-white skin.
In other words, the term 'lady killer' was an understatement when referring to Kevin now.
Kevin's appearance could slay any beauty across the four cities.
[So, what do you think?] The parasite asked after some time.
With a grin on his face, he replied. "Amazing."
"That mortal cleansing potion is amazing. I can barely recognize myself."
"But you were right. It did hurt a lot. I actually thought I was going to die." Kevin admitted in a lower voice.
[What the potion did was to replace your internal organs and bones with a better one that could withstand any changes to your body, without you having to drink a healing Potion whenever you try to fight with your new skill.]
"I see. Oh! That reminds me, aside from the potion, there were also skills and weapons in the roulette, right?"
[Yes, but if you had chosen either one of those, there would have been several repercussions whenever you used a skill or weapon since your previous body wouldn't have been able to adapt to it.]
"I see. So the potion allows me to use skills that mere mortals are unable to possess without their bones breaking or their heart busting if they try to activate a skill obtained from the Immortal Roulette?"

"Alright, let's take a look at what skill I can acquire from the roulette."

At Kevin's command, the parasite displayed a blue panel in front of him, which gave him the chance to view three modes of himself.
[God Mode (Locked): Currently Locked Until Host Gets Accustomed To His Demigod Mode]
[Demigod Mode (Unlocked): Currently Active.]
[Mortal Mode (Unlocked): Currently Inactive.]
"Woah, so I'm in my demigod Mode right now?"
[Yes.]
"I see. That would explain why my body feels so different."
[This mode will also aid you in using both the Immortal skills you've acquired already and the ones you'll receive from the roulette.]
"Wait, what? So you're saying I've obtained some new skills as well?"
[Indeed, would you like to see it now?]
"Yes." He answered excitedly.
[God's Eye: This skill gives the host the ability to see demons who walk the land and feed on humans while they have no clue what attacked them. There's a limit to what both a mortal and Demigod mode can identify as a demon or awakened,]
[Body Regeneration: Unlike the healing potion, which can heal minor injuries and broken bones, this skill grants you the ability to regenerate a part of your body without limit.]
[God's Tongue: With this skill, the host can soothe the heart of anyone who listens to his voice, no matter how angry they are at him or how reluctant they might be to reveal anything to him. Although, due to the host being a demigod, there's a limit to how effective this skill can be.]
After looking at the details of the three new skills, Kevin had to admit that they were really good skills, and although, he was eager to try them all, he was also eager to see what kind of skill he could win from the roulette.
[Would you like to summon the Immortal Roulette?]
"Yes."
Right after Kevin gave the command, the roulette hovered in front of him once again and he gave the command.
'Spin.'
[A million evil points have been used to summon the roulette and you have three million evil points left.]
The roulette began to turn until it finally stopped after a few seconds of spinning.
It stopped at a particular section which turned out to be the skill section, [Aura Pressure.]
[Aura Pressure:- An ability common to both Immortals and demons, this skill gives the host the ability to intimidate opponents by releasing as much aura as possible. However, this skill will be ineffective against opponents with strong willpower. This ability cannot be used when in [Mortal mode]. The higher the host's mode is when this skill is activated, the higher the amount of aura the host can release.]
He summoned the roulette once again and it spun continuously until it finally stopped at another skill section, [Eye Of Anubis.]
[Eye Of Anubis:- A skill obtained from the god of death himself. This skill grants the host the ability to crush the heart of his opponent once their eyes make contact with his. This skill is mostly effective and has a high success rate if it is used while the host has [God Mode] activated. This skill can only be activated using either [Demigod Mode] or [God Mode].]
With two million evil points left, Kevin summoned the roulette once again and after spinning, it stopped at another skill section once again, [Flight].
[Flight:- Regardless of the mode that is activated, the host will be able to activate this skill.]
With about one million, three hundred evil points left, Kevin decided to reserve his remaining points for when he might need them again.
For now, he wanted to try out his new skills.
Kevin got dressed and walked out of his room. He descended the stairs and went straight to the living room before walking past the kitchen and finally arriving at the door leading to the backyard.
He slid the sliding door open and scanned his surroundings to make sure that no one was watching.
Although, it was impossible for that to happen because it was still in the middle of the night, and it seemed that everyone was asleep based on how silent the neighborhood was.
Kevin then activated his [Flight] skill, and because he could use this skill in all three modes, he deactivated his [Demigod Mode] and reverted to his normal self, causing his snow-white skin and sparkling sapphire blue eyes to revert to their original form.
He wanted to get used to the [Flight] skill in this mode before trying it out in other modes.
So, without further ado, Kevin cracked his knuckles and did some light exercises before lifting himself up from the ground.
