Chapter 144 144. Daddy Is Here.
After a while staying like that, Dahlia slowly released her arms from his waist when she noticed the people passing them by with a smile on their faces while others were giggling to how cute they were together.
It made Dahlia even more bashful because most of the people passing them by were female around the age of hers.
But before she could completely release her arms from Kevin's waist, his hands cupped her cheeks as he stares into her eyes, not minding what others were saying or doing while he spoke to her..
"I know, you've been lonely even with the little present I left you behind but I want you to know that Daddy is here for you now," He assures her and didn't grant her a chance to react before leaning closer to trap her lips with his.
His tongue slowly invaded into her mouth as Dahlia grants him entry before the both of them began to savor the taste of one another.
Dahlia's eyes flung open by how bold he was to do what he was doing out in the open.
She felt like Kevin didn't care about the number of eyes watching them as they kissed, with a few of the women blushing at how intense they were kissing while others were disgusted and irritated by them, but in actuality, they were only jealous, allowing them to remark harshly towards the two of them by muttering for them to get a room.
A few seconds later, Kevin retracted his lips and watched with a smile how Dahlia's cheeks were beet red while her head seems to be spinning by all the surprises she couldn't imagine possible.
Being kissed out in the public, with eyes watching them with a mixed emotion of anger, shock, joy and envy. It felt weird to her at first.
But right now, Dahlia didn't give a damn about what they thought of cared about.
This feeling of having others watch her kissing her man in envy felt new and utterly exciting as well. She loved every bit of it.
And there was only one man who could effortlessly make her heart flutter without even looking as though he was even trying.
Wasn't he just too amazing?
"Can we go in?" Kevin's words drifted her back to reality. Dahlia noticed they had yet to meet her parents even though that was the main purpose of him coming here in the first place.
"Yes," she mutters and lead the way into her house.

Meanwhile, standing behind the window and watching every thing that was going on outside, were Dahlia's mom and Dad who noticed when Dahlia rushed out of the house to meet Kevin.
"Is that him?" Ben asked and Yvonne nodded in response.
"Yes, he's the one. She's says his name is Kevin. Isn't he handsome?" Yvonne replied and asked excitedly.
Both of them watched as they kissed in public without even considering the amount of eyes glaring them as they continued to do what they were doing.
"Isn't he a bit too bold, doing that out in the public?" Ben asked worriedly.
" At least, he knows what he wants and as you can see, your daughter isn't pushing him away either. It definitely looks like she's enjoying every bit of his company,"
With a sigh, Ben remarked. "boys these days are a lot wild than in my days,"
"And that's what makes them exciting. He's more of a man than you ever were at his age,"
Ben couldn't retort back to his wife. He knew his wife was the kind to always speak up her mind and that was a part of the reason why he loved her so much but he couldn't deny the fact that her words hurt a bit.
But he wasn't angry or furious at Kevin. Instead he felt a deep respect towards him for saving his life, even though they had never seen or met each other before.
And Ben was also glad to see that Dahlia had fallen in love with a wonderful man like him but he only hopes he doesn't end up leaving her in the end.
He'd hate to see his little girl crying back to him on how cruel men can be.
Hopefully, this young man called Kevin would prove him wrong and would instead become the best son-in-law there is.
"They're coming in," Yvonne alerted Ben, drifting his mind back to reality.
Both Ben and Yvonne went to the entrance of the front door and waited as Dahlia opened the door, introducing Kevin to both Ben and Yvonne Greyjoy.
"Kevin, these are my parents," Dahlia introduced Kevin to her parents.
"And dad, mom, this is my boyfriend, Kevin," And with a smile, she introduced her parents to him as well.
Since Kevin had already introduced himself to Yvonne as Dahlia's boyfriend, it was only proper for her to do the same once again this time around.
Kevin and Ben shook hands and Ben was about to thank Kevin for the money he paid for the surgery but he told Ben, it was the least he could for his future father-in-law and his words made Dahlia blush as she instinctively pulled Kevin's shirt.
She wanted to ask if what he was saying was actually the truth but, she couldn't ask him right now.
Not in front of her parents.
She would be glad if Kevin could have her as his wife but she was more than satisfied just knowing she had a place in his heart.
Right after everyone had exchanged pleasantries, Yvonne urged everyone to come to the dinner table.
"Alright, everyone, dinner is served and it's time for us to eat," She urged and everyone followed her to the dinning table.
A few minutes later, when everyone was relaxed and were finally done with their meals, Yvonne asked the question that had been disturbing her mind ever since Dahlia told Yvonne, her boyfriend was coming over to visit.
"Dahlia told me you traveled out of the city on business matters and I'm pleased you're back but seeing as how you provided time out of your busy schedule to pay us a visit, I can't help but ask if you two have any plans on getting married and if you do, when do you think the marriage will be taking place?" Yvonne asked with the widest grin she had ever made.
