Several hours later, Kevin finally arrived at Ruby City.

But what Dahlia didn't expect was that Kevin would instead ask if he could come see her at her place today.
At first she thought, she heard wrong but Kevin asked again and she replied 'Yes!!,' instantly like a young girl who had been proposed to.
Although, she still find it hard to believe that Kevin would actually be interested in coming over to her place.
'Moreover, wasn't he tired from the long trip all the way from Amber City?' She thought to herself.
'And he still care about me to spare a little bit of his time to come visit me here,'
'Isn't Daddy just too amazing?' She squealed internally and rushed towards Kevin's car when she noticed him bringing the car to a halt.
Kevin parked his car before stepping out and seeing Dahlia striding towards him with a smile on her face.
A smile she couldn't conceal since she hadn't seen him for more than a month now, actually it felt like it had been years.
But seeing him now in front of her, she couldn't hold back the tears of joy and relief of seeing him again.
Kevin spreads his arms apart, welcoming her into his embrace and she rushed to him, tightening her arms around his waist and resting her head on his chest.
Kevin wrapped his arms around her and places his chin on top of her head as well.
Just feeling his warmth again after so long, filled her with a sense of relief and satisfaction.
A feeling she had missed so much, ever since he left. But aside from this, she was really glad to see he had accomplished his mission in Amber City and she was glad to see him return back to Ruby City alive.
"I've missed you, Daddy," She muttered, tightening her grip around his waist.
"Me too, " He replied, patting her back as well and this brought a smile to Dahlia's face.
