Chapter 131 131. Underground Battle Arena.
Right after Brian Stark left the torture room, the sadistic torturer ordered the two guards standing by the door to release Kevin and take him to the arena.
Kevin, who was feeling exhausted after being bound to the wall, had his arms around the shoulders of the two men in charge of transferring him to the arena.
They dragged his feeble body to where a battle was meant to take place.
Since he couldn't walk on his own due to the height of the two men, Kevin's legs hovered above the ground until they reached their destination.
The two men then dumped Kevin into the cage, causing him to land on the ground.
Just as he grunted while trying to stand on his feet, the announcer's voice rang out, followed by the loud cheers of the crowds around the vicinity.

The announcer tried to calm the audience who had begun to throw empty bottles and half-finished food at the cage.

The crowd cheered loudly at the words they heard from the announcer.

Kevin slowly stood upright to find himself surrounded by a cage made of metal bars.
The place where they were meant to fight was dark, with only a few fire torches lighting up the arena.
Aside from the other nine awakened in the arena, the torches were bright enough to illuminate the huge crowd of people leaning from their seats and shouting in loud voices for the nine men to end the Boogeyman.
Kevin glanced up and saw a huge screen with ten names displayed on it, his name was written at the bottom of the list.
He slowly stretched his body to prepare himself for the impending battle. But as he prepared himself, the parasite said in his head.
[Are you sure you will be able to fight in your current state?] Concern laced her voice.
[I understand that you're trying to let everyone know how fearsome you are because of the future when you will rise to the top of the underground chain, but I would suggest you pay close attention to your health as well.]
'I understand, thanks for the warning. But I'm sure you know that I can't just gulp down a potion in front of everyone, it would make everything I've been trying to do be for naught.'
