Chapter 129 129. We've Found Him.
Well, Brian Stark couldn't be blamed for thinking his first two dreams were a dream, because each of those dreams had taken place in places he had never seen before, unlike the last one which had happened in Amy's room.
Now, Brian Stark was certain that the man in his dreams and the one Mary described were one and the same. But he didn't understand what he did wrong to the man for him to target Amy.
'I'm certain he must be manipulating her to get close to me,' He thought to himself.
'But why?' He thought in confusion.
'Could he be the one responsible for the destruction of all four of my shipments?'
'Then, doesn't that mean he is the runt they call Boogeyman?'
While thinking about this with a bit of skepticism since he had no proof, Brian Stark turned towards Mary.
"You said you met them, right? Then how did you escape from the den of tigers?"
Mary's hands trembled a bit as she recalled the countless pairs of huge tiger eyes glaring at her in the den. Amy had warned her at the time that if she moved a muscle, the tiger would rip her to shreds.
Mary shook her head a bit to focus on what was important right now before replying. "Everything went blank for a while after the crimson-haired man approached me and asked about my daily routine here in the mansion. The maids came to the room I had been cleaning three days ago and found me asleep on the floor just a few minutes ago."
"Did he say anything to you before you became unconscious?"
"Yes, he said....." Mary paused, not knowing if she should really say it out loud.
"Speak up."
"H-he said, he'll be coming for you."
After she said this, Brian Stark's loud and piercing ringing tone broke the tense silence, causing the maids, including Mary to flinch in terror before calming down after realising that it was only Brian's phone.
Brian Stark answered the call and said without any preamble. "Have you found anything?"
The guard on the other side of the phone trembled at the sound of his boss's voice. He could feel that his boss was really annoyed right now, so he tried to relax and relay his message to Brian Stark, hoping that his boss's temper would reduce a bit after hearing the news he had for him.
"Y-yes!! Boss!! We've got Intel from one of our informants in the Boogeyman's gang that the Boogeyman will be having a meeting this evening with some influential gang bosses you trust.
I heard the Boogeyman is trying to buy their allegiance. What should we do sir?"
"Capture him while they're holding their meeting and bring him down to me in the Underground World!!" He roared.
"Y-yes boss."
Right after Brian Stark cut the call, another one of his men called him, making the maids flinch once again.
Brian Stark was becoming even more annoyed by the second.
Mary first entered the room to inform him that Amy had been in the mansion with him and he never even noticed.
There was no doubt that she had found a way to escape once again if she could enter this easily without anyone realizing.
This meant that finding her once again was going to be extremely difficult.
Then a call from one of his men followed right after, informing him that they'd found the Boogeyman.
Brian Stark was only a little calm right now because he knew that when the Boogeyman was finally captured this evening, he would make him regret ever messing with him.
He would make him suffer until he begged Brian Stark to kill him and end his suffering.
And now, another one of his men was calling, If this one informed him of something similar to the first man's news, Brian Stark made a promise to himself to make sure this second caller breathed his last today.
He pacified his raging heart a bit by inhaling and exhaling deeply, but his tone still sounded irritated and furious when he picked up the call.
"What is it?" He said with a growl.
"W-we have spotted your daughter sire."
"What did you just say?" Brian Stark hurriedly got up from his bed.
He couldn't believe what he was hearing. It felt like he was dreaming.
"We've spotted yo…" The guard wanted to repeat himself but Brian Stark interjected instantly.
"Don't waste my time with that and tell me where exactly she is right now."
The guard hesitated a bit, knowing that the boss wouldn't be happy with what he was about to say. "S-she currently seems to be on a date with a young man, and they are about to enter a restaurant."
"What?! A date?!"
"Y-yes boss, I'll send you a photo of the two of them together."
Brian Stark looked at the image that was sent to his phone and noticed that it was the same man he saw in his dream and the man Mary described as well.
Brian Stark almost crushed the phone in his hand at the image but decided against it for now. He still needed to give his men orders and once he was done with that, he would smash the phone.
With barely leashed rage, Brian Stark quickly gave his orders with a growl. "Gather your men and storm into that restaurant. Use any means necessary to drag that man down to the underground. Is that clear?!!!"
"C--crystal clear boss!!"
"Then you must bring my little girl to me and if you hurt or pull even a strand of hair from my little girl's hair, I'll make you all extinct. Grab her if she tries to run away but don't hurt her."
The man on the other side of the phone gulped loudly before responding. "Y-yes boss."
Brian Stark ended the call and walked away from the bed before heading towards the shower.
Once he was done dressing, he decided to wait for his men in the underground world. Then he would destroy both the runt who called himself the Boogeyman and the punk who had the guts to trick his little girl into running away from him.
