Chapter 357 Mireya's House
Trevor stood before the Inn Yuan and his wives are currently staying, 'The Travelers Rest'. Seeing the huge signboard on top of the building, his lips curled into an evil grin.
"So, this is the Inn Yuan and his wives are currently staying at, this place isn't too shabby at all."
"Let's go inside and ask the charge of the Inn about them..." He said before entering the building.
As soon as Trevor entered inside, Miss Zara quickly greeted him with a gentle smile on her face and asked him what kind of room he wanted to book in her Inn.
Little Zoe was also there, looking at the man in a strange outfit with an anxious look on her face. She was really scared of the man's mask and the scary skull emblem on his chest.
The man didn't reply and was busy looking around the interior of the Inn, as though he was searching for something.
Both Miss Zara and Little Zoe were puzzled by the man's strange behavior, as he was silently observing the surroundings.
A minute later, the man, Trevor approached the counter, looked at Miss Zara with a sneering gaze, and finally spoke, "I don't have any intention of staying in your dirty place, I'm here looking for someone."
Miss Zara raised her eyebrows after hearing this, and she felt quite furious at the man's rudeness about her Inn, however, she controlled her composure since the man was many times stronger than her.
"Who are you looking for, Sir?" She asked, slightly curious to know who this strange person was looking for.
"It's not just one person, it's a group." The man said. "The group leader's name is Yuan, and the members of this group are only female, I know that they've booked a room in your Inn."
"So, can you do me a favor and call them for me, I have a very 'important' business with them, if you don't mind..." He said, a mysterious grin playing on his lips which shows that his person is up to no good.
'Yuan? So he is looking for him and his women? Does Yuan have any connection with someone like him?' Miss Zara was surprised to hear Yuan's name coming out of this person's mouth.
And when she looked closely at the person, she noticed the emblem on his chest and her expression immediately froze, she couldn't believe her eyes for a moment.
'H-He is a member of that infamous group?! This is unbelievable! I can't believe someone from 'that' organization came to my property!' She screamed inwardly, terrified that her soul would depart her body at any moment.
She felt as if she was confronted with a scary demon rather than a human being, and that if she said something carelessly, she and her daughter might die at any minute. After all, the person standing before her is a part of 'that' organization.
Miss Zara took a long breath to calm herself down and added, "I'm very sorry, sir, but Mr. Yuan and his wives have yet to return from their 'date', and I'm not sure if they'll return today or not."
"Is that so..." He looked at Miss Zara with suspicion, trying to figure out if the woman was lying to him or not.
But, he didn't find any hint which suggested that the woman was lying to him.
"Well, it can't be helped now because they aren't here...I'll take my departure now." Trevor sighed at his terrible luck and exited the building promptly.
Miss Zara eventually calmed herself enough to sigh in relief as Trevor exited the building, and mumbled, "That was scary as hell...!"
Little Zoe ran to her mother and buried her face between her large breasts. "Mom, that person was quite scary...I was absolutely frightened!"
"Yeah, that person was really scary..." Miss Zara hugged her daughter tightly in her embrace and sighed in relief that Trevor left the building.
Sometime later, Trevor arrived near the city gate where he planned to meet his comrades he called for a helping hand.
A group of four individuals wearing black clothes with the same emblem as him came through the gate, and one of them waved at him with a wide grin on his face.
"Hey, Trevor, it's been a while, how have you been recently?"
"Hey, Wade, I'm quite good and actually got a promotion from the organization..." Trevor replied with a big grin on his face.
"Oh, I'm so jealous! Haha!"
Another of them approached Trevor, placed his arms around his shoulder, and smiled, saying, "Hahah, I'm also really jealous, Trevor. Despite joining at the same time, you were the only one promoted to higher rankings."
"Truthfully spoken, Grant... And congrats, Trevor, on your elevation to the organization's core members." The third one said with a huge smile on his face, but he was immensely jealous of Trevor.
"Thank you, Cody! And I hope you receive your promotion soon."
"You bet I will..." Cody nodded proudly as if he'd already received his promotion.
The fourth person became irritated hearing what they were saying and exclaimed, "Enough of this nonsense, Trevor. Tell us why you phoned us so hurriedly; I hope you have a valid cause for doing so."
Trevor sighed as he heard the fourth person, Chase's furious voice. "Alright, everyone, let's get into business, why do I call you guys here..."
"Yeah, tell us dude why you called us so urgently." Cody swiftly inquired, perplexed as to why Trevor had summoned them all so fast.
He began informing them about the mission he had gotten from the group, as well as the mission details, shortly after.
As they continued to listen to Trevor's explanation, they became increasingly startled and nearly couldn't believe it, but because Trevor had phoned them so urgently, they opted to trust this absurd scenario.
"Damn...I can't believe someone can fight hundreds of monsters and emerge victorious without breaking a sweat; it's simply unbelievable!" Cody muttered in disbelief.
Grant paused for a moment before speaking, "Although it is difficult to believe in such utter nonsense, the organization personally issuing such a mission means only one thing..."
"It means the information is correct..." Wade finished the phrase with a big grin and an anticipatory expression on his face.
When Trevor informed them about Yuan and his wives' strange prowess that does not require mana, they were all fascinated by Yuan's mysterious prowess, and they were all desperate to get this power for themselves.
Trevor smiled broadly as he saw his colleagues' expressions and inquired, "So, what do you guys think now? Do you want to help me discover the secret to their 'mysterious prowess'?"
He then went on to say, "Once we obtain the secret, we all can become unbelievably strong, and almost no one can defeat us in this continent since we're already this strong."
"Obtaining the method will only make us even stronger." He said with a greedy look on his face.
Cody gazed at him for a time before asking, "If we kill them, what will we tell the organization?"
Trevor shrugged at Cody. "What else? We'll tell them that they refused to join us, so we killed them and eliminated any potential trouble." He said with a casual tone.
"I see... that's a pretty good plan actually." Wade smiled broadly. "Count me in!"
"Me too!" Cody exclaimed, joyfully.
"Me as well, I will not miss on such an easy way to get stronger," Grant replied, his face wide with expectation.
"I'm also in," Chase spoke with a greedy smile on his face, and the irritating expression was no longer visible.
Meanwhile, Yuan, his wives, and Leah have arrived at Mireya's house, which is not far from her restaurant.
When Yuan and his women informed Mireya that it was becoming late and that they should return to the Inn, she stopped them and invited them to remain the night.
Yuan initially denied her invitation, but his mother gladly accepted Mireya's offer to spend the night at her place.
And Yuan sensed his mother was planning something for Mireya, and he could tell what she was thinking.
The house was quite big, and the Rose's family manor couldn't be compared to it, both in size and design.
In front of the entrance, there is a beautiful fountain which of course uses magic to run. And the entrance of the house is also very interesting with many intricate designs.
"This is my house, let's go inside," Mireya said before opening the door and entering inside.
Yuan and his wives as well as Leah nodded and followed her inside.
"Welcome home, my lady."
An old butler greeted Mireya as soon as she entered inside, and he then saw Yuan and his wives as well as Leah enter.
The old butler looked at Mireya with a surprised smile and said, " Oh, It seems that you've brought guests with you, My Lady. This is a surprise."
Mireya smiled, and said, "They're the friends I made back in Clover Town. Please arrange an extra large room for them with a massive bed and a single room as well."
"Understood. My lady, please rest assured I'll take care of everything." The butler nodded and left the scene shortly.
After that, she turned to look at Yuan and his wives with a smile. "Come on, take a seat and make yourselves at home," she said, pointing her hand at the plush sofa neatly arranged with a small tea table.
