Chapter 331 Lily's Annoyance
"Hmph!" Lily snorted at the merchants and retrieved her aura before following her brother and the others to their carriage.
"A small group of naive merchants who think that having money will provide them with anything they desire... Simply absurd!" Lily murmurs as she walks away, leaving the merchants with nothing to do but stare at them.
The merchants looked at their vanishing figures while kneeling down on the ground, they had a look of disbelief on their faces as they'd never experienced such rejection before.
The merchant with a big mustache, Edward Willson gritted his teeth in frustration as he was kneeling on the ground, he was forced to kneel on the ground with the others and experienced pain all over his body.
Not only was he rejected squarely in the face, but a girl so young that he might call her daughter had him bow. This was an embarrassment that he would never be able to erase in his life.
And the invisible pressure from Yuan and his wives vanished as soon as they left. One by one, the merchants managed to get themselves upright.

Hearing the random merchant's voice, Mr. Willson managed to control his composer and the furious look on his face vanished slowly, then a wide smile appeared on his face and he gently stroked his mustache.
"Do you think I'll let go of such a convenient spell like that one? It holds so much potential, there's no way I'll give up on acquiring that spell." Mr. Willson smiled widely while stroking his mustache, he then brushed off the dust from his clothes and looked at Yuan's carriage in the distance.
He then continued, "I'll take that spell for myself even if I have to use other methods to acquire it, it doesn't matter how much gold coin I've to spend in order to get that."
"But what about the embarrassment he brought upon you? Do you intend to disregard that? I will not forget the humiliation I experienced, so I will hold them accountable for forcing me to kneel." Said one of the merchants.
'Forget about the humiliation? Never! I'll never forget such humiliation! Never in my lifetime!' Mr. Willson screamed inwardly, seemingly frustrated.
"I'm a merchant, and I never forget anything because I keep track of everything, even when it's a disgrace or a favor." Mr. Willson remarked with an ugly smile on his face. "He will have to pay for the humiliation he has put me through in front of so many people, only then I can wash away the shame."
"Yeah. He has to pay the price for humiliating us in such a way."
"I wholeheartedly concur. Make him pay for turning us down.
"But he and his wives are so powerful, how are we supposed to make him pay?"
"Yeah. With a single sword strike, he was able to vanquish hundreds of monsters and half the mountain."
"Hehe.." Mr. Willson grinned broadly and laughed, saying, "Yes," as he turned to face the other merchants.
"He is powerful. Though not as strong as the folks I know, I have complete confidence that if I ask for their assistance, they will make sure he pays for embarrassing me..."
He then looked at the other merchants with a sneer and said, "Unlike You lots, I've various connections throughout the entire empire, and I also have my connections in the other Empires as well."
"With my connections alone, making that brat and his wives pay for humiliating me is a piece of cake...besides those women are so beautiful too, hehe." Mr. William let out a wide evil grin on his face and subtly licked his lips, in his mind the image of Yuan's wives appeared.
"Mr. Willson, you really are clever, as one could assume. Additionally, you have a tonne of influential contacts."
The other merchants are ecstatic to hear Mr. Willson's statements, and because he promised to make Yuan and his wives pay for the humiliation, they took his word for it.
In the meantime, the hunters started gathering monster materials from the monsters that Yuan and his wives had left behind for them.
They may not have left the strongest monsters, but what was left was sufficient for each hunter to easily make more than a hundred gold coins.
"I have to say those people are really generous, they could've collected materials from all the monsters if they wanted as no one was stopping them."
"Yeah. The remaining monsters were left for us by these nice people so that we could profit financially from selling the monster materials."
"Maybe, they're strong and don't care about the weak monster's materials as it was useless for them."
"That may well be the case; who can say with certainty what they are thinking?"
"Whatever the case, it's good that we get what we deserve for fighting those monsters—those abominations!"
After everyone collected the materials from the monsters, the A-rank hunter gathered everyone and ordered them to gather the monster corpses in one place.

Hunters nodded and started to gather the monster bodies in one area so that the corpses would be burned by the flame mages' spells, preventing the spread of unknown diseases.
After collecting the monster corpses at one spot for approximately an hour, the hunters formed an enormous mountain of corpses.
The sight of countless bodies piled up like this will make any weak-minded person pee in their pants; the blood of all those beasts formed a pond around the corpse mountain.
Considering that there were more than 5,000 monsters, it was not surprising that their blood would readily form a small pond.
After the hunters had completed stacking the bodies, the A-
rank hunter turned to face the mages and commanded them to burn the corpses with their most potent spell.
With that, the mages with fire attributes cast their most effective spells to burn the monster corpses, slowly the monster corpses started to burn under the massive fire that engulfed one-third of the corpses mountain.
"Oh no! Only one-third of the bodies have been covered by our flames; the remaining corpses must be covered by us in order for the fire to burn them all to ashes."
"I wholeheartedly concur. Unfortunately, we can only cover this much with our strongest spells.
"We're weak so we can't possibly cover the entire mountain of corpses with flame, after all, we're not even peak fifth-circle mages yet."
"With our level of strength, it's impossible to cover the entire mountain of corpses."
"Yeah. It's far beyond our capabilities."
The mages started to complain about their own fragility and how, despite their combined strength, they could not make their magic spells strong enough to cover the whole mountain of corpses.
"Don't give up too easily! Keep trying!" When the A-rank Hunter noticed the magicians were about to give up, he shouted from behind them.
"Understood. Sir!" The mages nodded and began casting their spells once again.
Unfortunately, it was insufficient to burn the entire mountain of bodies with flame. It merely covered a small portion of it.
"This is useless..." A mage spoke, evidently in disbelief, as they saw their spells were nearly ineffective.
Inside the carriage, Yuan was resting against the soft seat of the carriage, gently stroking Xi Meili's hair as she sat on his lap, a joyful expression on her face.
Anna Grace, who was seated behind her son, couldn't help but smile as she noticed Xi Meili enjoying being on Yuan's lap and being indulged in this way.
"Damn it! Those lousy mages are so useless that they couldn't even burn a few thousand corpses with their spells." Lily complained and sat next to Xi Meili on Yuan's other leg, wearing a disappointed expression.
"Haha, considering how they're so weak, it's not surprising that they're unable to burn the corpses." Anna Grace responded with a small chuckle because she understands how impatient her daughter can be.
"And because they're useless, it will take forever to burn the corpses and clear the road so we can leave this place as soon as possible," Lily said, with an irritating look on her face.
"With their level of strength, it will indeed take them forever to burn the corpses completely." Yuan added with a smile, kissing Xi Meili on the cheek and saying, "My dear, how about you use your flames to transform those corpses into ashes?"
"It will save us a lot of time; after that, I'll let you sit on my lap and spoil you until we set up camp for the night." He said.
"Of course, why not." Xi Meili smiled before getting up from his lap and looked outside through the window.
She pointed her finger towards the vast mountain of bodies, and a small wisp of flame erupted on her fingertip; despite its size, the heat radiating from it was fierce enough to kill the grass around the carriage.
"Turn to ashes...." Xi Meili murmured in hushed tones and flickered her finger, sending a wisp of flame towards the corpse mountain.
The wisp of flame hit the mountain of corpses in the blink of an eye, engulfing the entire mountain in flames and quickly destroying the bead bodies, which were clearly visible to the naked sight as the flame turned the corpses to ashes.
The intense heat radiating from the flame forced everyone to retreat a few meters away as smoke was coming out of their bodies near the flame.
The hunters' expressions are filled with surprise as they witness the flame abruptly change color to a blend of scarlet and black, engulfing the vast mountain of corpses.
