Chapter 325 Another Week Has Passed

325 Another Week Has Passed

"You guys sure took your time coming out of the carriage," Lily remarked while glaring angrily at her mother.

"Well, we woke up a little late today...hehe!" Anna Grace playfully chuckled as she hugged Yuan's arms and rested her head on his chest, almost as though she was teasing Lily.

"Is that true? That's fine, I suppose, but that doesn't mean you can stick with him like this; it's not fair!" Lily yelled at her mother with a furious expression on her face; she was immensely jealous of her mother for being so romantic with Yuan.

Anna Grace retained a mocking smile on her face. "Well, why can't I? After all, I am both his mother and wife. I have every right to be with my darling." She spoke in a teasing tone before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"I...uh..." Lily was left speechless and unable to speak back to her mother; after all, what her mother said was true, and she had every right to stick with Yuan.

Seeing her daughter unable to speak back to her, Anna Grace grinned.

"What happened? Cat got your tongue, Lily?"

"You..." Lily clenched her fist in frustration because she didn't know how to respond to her mother.

'Why are these two acting like cats and dogs? And why is Mom provoking Big Sis like this? Yuan shook his head, witnessing his mother and older sister arguing like this.

"It appears that I have to stop them from arguing like this... we have to prepare our breakfast so that we can set out." Yuan shook his head and was determined to end their quarrel quickly.

"Hey, you two, quit arguing like this. The sun is already out, and we have yet to make our breakfasts; if you continue to quarrel like this, we will fall behind the other traveling groups." Yuan stated in a serious tone, causing his mother and big sister to stop their argument immediately.

Seeing the seriousness in her son's eyes, Anna Grace immediately retrieved the cooking set and cooking ingredients from her spatial ring.

"Lily put this pan on the fire and add some butter to the pan," Anna said to Lily in a normal tone, as though their previous argument never happened in the first place.

"I understand, Mom." Lily promptly nodded and carried out what she had ordered.

Sometimes later, they finished cooking their breakfasts and Emma served the food for everyone before it got cold as they had to continue their journey as some of the traveling groups had already set out.

Half an hour later, they've finished eating their breakfasts and Yuan brings back the horses to their carriage.

"Lily put out the fire, and let's go," Yuan said as he tied the horses to the carriage.

Lily then snapped her finger and directed a burst of Ice Qi toward the fire, causing it to extinguish instantaneously.

"There, all done." Lily smiled before she got aboard the carriage and sat in the coachman's seat.

"Alright everyone, let's get aboard and move out," Yuan spoke to his women and Leah before entering the carriage and taking his seat. His wives nodded and followed suit, taking their seats inside the carriage.

"Lily, let's move out," Yuan spoke to his big sister, Lily nodded, and the carriage began to move onward.

As the carriage proceeded on, so did the other hunter and merchant groups' carriages. More than 17 carriages are moving behind Yuan's carriage, the majority of which have been rented by hunter parties to reach the capital.

The male hunters were eager to see the faces of Yuan's wives at their next stop, and because they were all on their way to the capital, there was a good chance they'd see them on a daily basis until they got to the kingdom's capital.

Meanwhile, a curious hunter looked at another hunter who was quite silent despite knowing that there was a group of unparalleled beauties traveling ahead of them.

He couldn't contain his curiosity and decided to ask, "Hey, buddy. Why are you so silent? You are aware that there is a group of stunning beauty traveling beside us just ahead."

The hunter smiled at him and said, "Unlike you, I don't have a death wish to court those women."

The other hunters raised their eyebrows when they heard the hunter's statements, and one of them said "Oh, it appears that you recognize those stunning women. Why aren't you telling us about them? What is their origin?"

"By the way, my name is Dennis. It's good to meet you. How about you? What is your name?" The hunter, Dennis, introduced himself and inquired.

"I'm Russel, it's a pleasure." Russel introduced himself.

"Now, Russel, tell us everything you know about those unparalleled beauties. I am really fascinated about them and would like to learn more about them." Dennis said with a slight smile on his face.

'Hmph! Like to know more about them? When you learn about those unparalleled beauty's husband's monstrous strength and what he accomplished in Monbrook City, you will undoubtedly wet your pants. And don't blame me for it afterward.' Russel chuckled inwardly, without raising any suspicion.

"Sure." Russel nodded with a faint smile and began telling Dennis and the others about Yuan and his wives as much as he knew about them.

Dennis and the other hunters listened intently to Russel's words because they didn't want to miss anything about those unparalleled beauties.

It was their first time seeing such beautiful women, so they didn't want to miss any details about them that might come up when courting them.

However, as they continued to listen to Russel's statements, their expressions changed dramatically as they learned of the might of the husband of the unparalleled beauties and the deeds he did back in Monbrook City.

"Damn! This is unbelievable! How did someone so weak defeat the strongest Count in the kingdom?" Dennis mumbled in astonishment, unwilling to believe Russel's claims.

"This is a clear exaggeration!" He exclaimed.

Russel shook his head, smiled bitterly, and added, "Whether you believe it or not, it's the truth. And if you don't believe me, try courting them to see for yourself."

"No, I'd like to refrain from doing such things as I have a feeling that they're not meant for me and we won't get along quite well," Dennis spoke with an awkward smile on his face.

'Would you look at his expression? Isn't it pretty funny?' Russel laughed inwardly.

And just like that, another week had passed as Yuan, his wives, and Leah continued their journey to the kingdom's capital.

This week, Ava and Julie's strength has skyrocketed as they reached the fourth level of Spirit Warrior in their cultivation. Since becoming spirit warriors, their cultivation speed has dropped dramatically because they require a very large quantity of spiritual energy to advance even one level.

Not only that, but they honed their martial arts skills to an expert level, considerably enhancing their attack power and precision. Fighting tough monsters became much easier for them because of this power increase, as they fought numerous monsters within the week.

Leah, a mortal woman, was astounded to see Julie and Ava's power develop so dramatically because she could not detect any sign of mana in their bodies, as was the case with Yuan and his other wives.

She couldn't understand how Julie and Ava gained so much strength in such a short period of time, given that she was still a low-level mage despite training magic for almost fifteen years.

Unfortunately, she remains a low-level magician who was powerless to intervene when her parents were slaughtered by the goblins, and she was also captured and brutally tortured by those awful creatures.

Fortunately, Yuan and his wives arrived in time to save her; otherwise, she would have been molested by those awful beasts and turned into their food.

Rose, on the other hand, has advanced to the peak spirit warrior realm in her cultivation, and all she needs to do now is receive enlightenment and attain the spirit master realm.

However, before she could attempt to break through to the spirit master realm, she needed to strengthen her foundation to ensure that her breakthrough proceeded easily and without any backlash.

Currently, they're moving through a mountain range, the atmosphere here is a little windy and quite foggy too as they're unable to see the road ahead quite well.

Numerous carriages are moving ahead of them, and they're unable to move faster due to this thick fog that is covering the road, so most of them are worried about the dangerous monsters that take advantage of the fog and attack the travelers.

Unlike those people, Yuan and his wives are able to see clearly even though the fog is quite thick, and they're able to detect if there are any monsters nearby or not.

"Little Yuan, I'm tired of this. Those bastards are moving way too slowly; it's significantly slowing us down!" Lily complained to Yuan about the carriages ahead of them.

"Well, dear. Unlike us, those individuals are unable to navigate the road in such thick fog and are whining about it." Anna Grace spoke before Yuan could open his mouth.

However, at this time they suddenly heard a loud shout from ahead.

"MONSTERS!! "A GROUP OF MONSTERS IS BLOCKING THE ROAD AHEAD!!" One of the hunters yelled at the top of his lungs as he noticed a bunch of monsters blocking the route.

"What!? Monsters!? Everyone, take out your weapons and get ready for the fight!" Another hunter drew his sword from the scabbard and yelled.
