Chapter 304 Golden Skull Organization
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed with a surprised look on their faces, seemingly in disbelief.
"W-What did you just say? Did someone from a small city manage to destroy the rare-grade forbidden spell? This is impossible!" One of them abruptly stood up from his seat and shouted in clear disbelief.
"Hahaha~!" Marcus laughed uncontrollably at Victor, and while holding his stomach he said, "This is the most absurd joke I've ever heard, Victor... I've never thought you could crack a joke like this, color me surprised I guess."
Victor's lips twisted in annoyance hearing Marcus's laughter, however, he managed to control his composer and he said with a calm voice, "This is a very serious matter. Do you think I'm joking here, Marcus?"
"Hmph, If this is not a joke then what else?"
"Do you think there will be someone capable of stopping, let alone destroying, a rare-grade forbidden magic in a small city like Monbrook? Don't make me laugh!" Marcus stated arrogantly, a broad grin on his face as he looked at Victor.
He became irritated every time he heard Victor's voice and looked for an opportunity to disgrace Victor, as though he had some kind of enmity between them.
"Marcus is right about this. There's no concrete evidence that proves that such a person exists in Monbrook city who is capable of destroying a rare-grade forbidden magic after all" One of the hooded people responded in a calm voice.
"Now that Mr. Black has shared his opinion...I also think that we shouldn't take this matter seriously, as we do not have any evidence which suggests that such a person exists." Another hooded person responded, sharing the same thought as Mr. Black.
"I also have the same thought as Mr. Black."
"Me too. We shouldn't put on someone who hasn't contacted the organization for so long."
"I have the same thought as everyone else."
"Me too."
"Me as well."
Everyone shares the same thought as Mr. Black, who is sitting in a special chair that is unlike the others, indicating that Mr. Black has more influence over the organization than the others.
Victor was a little dissatisfied with everyone who shared the same thought as Marcus, however, he wasn't furious at them for showing no interest in such an important matter.
A minute later, Mr. Black turned to see Victor and asked, "By the way, Victor did Karla contact the organization just to inform us about this young man? Or perhaps..."
"As expected of Mr. Black, you're as sharp as ever, nothing can be hidden from you." Victor chuckled, and his admiration for Mr. Black increased significantly.
"Haha, Little Victor, I've met a lot of folks in my life. Guessing such a minor detail has become second nature to me... After all, we're discussing Karla." Mr. Black smiled in response.
Mr. Black has been with the 'Golden Skull' organization since the very beginning, and it has been 120 years since it was founded. Except for Mr. Black, everyone has died; they were either killed by their foes or died of old age since they could not attain the next level of power.
Until now, no one has genuinely known Mr. Black's true identity, nor has anybody ever seen his face; other than his voice, they know nothing about him. Who can say? Even his voice could be deceptive.
The 'Golden Skull' is well known within the entire continent as one of the most powerful and feared criminal organizations, as this organization has created so much chaos within the continent that even a five-year-old kid knows about this organization.
The mere mention of the name 'Golden Skull' causes terror in the general people; they'd rather choose to commit suicide than die at the hands of a member of this organization; if they offend one of its members, their life and death are no longer in their control.
As for what they did— They completely destroyed an entire empire and killed hundreds of thousands of people, and people's blood soaked the entire empire in red creating a blood river.
From then on, the 'Golden Skull' became the most deadly criminal organization on the continent, with a large bounty set on each member's head across the continent.
Despite the large number of gold coins in each bounty, no one dared to accept it since they didn't want to offend such a powerful organization that didn't think twice about destroying a whole empire.
A minute later, Victor looked at Mr. Black with a serious look on his face and said, "She wants us to kill this young man whose name is Yuan. She said that he is extremely powerful with many unusual abilities and is surrounded by a group of beauties."
"So his name is Yuan, huh? What a unique name; I've never heard anything like it... intriguing." Mr. Black mumbled with a smirk on his face, having been piqued by Yuan's odd name and unusual abilities.
"What else does she say about this 'Yuan' person?"
He was curious about this Yuan now that it had sparked his interest. He had never been so curious about someone in more than 70 years, and after being interested in Yuan', he couldn't keep his curiosity at bay.
'What? Mr. Black is now showing his interest in this 'Yuan' person. How could this be? This is impossible!' Marcus cried inwardly, seemingly in disbelief.
'Damn you, Victor! He won this time, but it won't happen again. I'll win the next time, and when that happens, I'll make sure to turn the entire organization against you.' Marcus spoke to himself as he looked at Victor with a disdainful look on his face as though he hated Victor to his core.
"Of course, she mentioned more about him," Victor said with a smile. "Well, she mentioned that this 'Yuan' person's abilities are truly unique and mysterious, and no matter how much one tries they can't sense any mana neither from his attacks nor from his body, as though he doesn't use any mana at all."
"Moreover, despite the lack of mana in his attacks, it's much more deadly and destructive compared to the forbidden magic her husband used."
"Is that so?"
Mr. Black then thought for a moment, and said, "My bad, I'll take my previous statement back. This is indeed a very serious matter... It's like a threat to our organization."
"Is this really that serious, Mr. Black? He's only a young man who enjoys beauty; what can he possibly do to us with our strength?" Marcus did not consider Yuan to be a threat to the organization.
How could a skirt-chasing young man pose a danger to this organization when every member is a formidable Saint rank magician or higher? They're just exaggerating things and nothing else.
"Yes. This is indeed a very serious matter." Mr. Black replied he was very curious about Yuan's unique and mysterious abilities that don't require any mana.
Won't this organization become considerably more powerful than it is now if it somehow manages to obtain the key to employing such unfathomable skills from Yuan?
Since Yuan wields such a mysterious power that has the ability to reshape the entire world from scratch, there's no way that the 'Golden Skull' would let go of such an opportunity to dominate the entire continent.
Once they receive the secret from Yuan, they will no longer need to rely exclusively on mana to wreak havoc across the continent; everyone will dread their strength, and their influence within the continent will grow tremendously. They could even become the dominant organization of the entire continent if not the entire world.
Sometime later, Mr. Black said to Victor in a serious voice, "Victor send someone to keep a close eye on this Yuan person, and tell him to keep informing us about his every movement to us... His abilities are very useful for our organization."
"I understand. I'll send one of our best scouts to keep an eye on the target." Victor nodded.

Meanwhile, Yuan was unaware of the approaching danger and was having fun with his wives and Leah. They've purchased most of the supplies they'd need in their travels and it's enough for them to last more than two weeks.
After making sure that they had gathered the necessary items, Anna Grace turned to see Yuan and said, "We've purchased everything needed for the trip. Let's return to the Inn now and take a rest, we'll head out towards the capital early in the morning."
"Very well. Let's pay for the goods and return to the?Inn." Yuan nodded and turned to see the receptionist.
"Esteemed customers, do you need anything else?" The receptionist politely asked Yuan, showing a sweet smile on her face.
"No, we've picked up everything we need. Please calculate the price of these things." Yuan then placed all the goods they'd picked up for their travel on the counter.
"Please give me a moment, there are so many items it will take some time to calculate everything." The receptionist said, looking at the pile of goods on the counter.
"Please feel free to take as much time as you need," Yuan replied with a smile on his face, causing the receptionist to blush.
The receptionist shook her head with a small smile on her face and began calculating the amount. It only took her a few minutes to calculate everything, and then she said, "Esteemed customers, the total amount comes out to 140 gold coins."
After that Yuan took out the gold coins from his system storage and placed them on the counter, and the receptionist carefully counted them before putting them away.
Once the payment was done, Yuan stored the goods in his system storage and turned to see his wives.
"Now let's return to the Inn." Before leaving the shop, Yuan said to them, and his wives followed suit.
