Chapter 283 A Weird Noise
Yuan chuckled. "Hehe, These two are only small ones guarding the entrance, the strong ones are in the deep part of the cave system."
"Is that so? No wonder they're so weak that they can't even react to my attack." Ava bent down and used her dagger to collect the goblin's ear, her dagger easily cut off the goblin's ear as though a hot wire cutting foam.
Once she finished with the first goblin, she did the same with the other goblin as well before putting them inside her pouch.
After that, she looked at the entrance to the other chamber of the cave with a curious and at the same time nervous look on her face.
"I wonder how strong the goblins will be inside this chamber... there's only one way to find out now." Ava took a long breath before entering the chamber, as the atmosphere within the cave was too gloomy, and weird noises were coming from within the chamber.
Once she entered the chamber, she saw many goblins lying on the cave's floor seemingly asleep.

Suddenly, Ava stepped on a small bone and the bone was unable to hold her weight as it broke immediately, causing the goblins to wake up from their slumber and become alert.
"Shit!" Ava cursed at her bad luck as she wanted to end the lives of these disgusting creatures while they were in deep slumber, but unfortunately, it didn't go as planned.
"@&#&#&@#$_&#@#...!" One of the goblins shouted in an unfamiliar language, as it pointed his rusty weapon at Ava.
"Kekekekeke!" After hearing the goblin's words, the rest of the goblins laughed creepily before all of them rushed towards Ava with killing intent radiating from their gazes.
Ava felt utterly disgusted at the creepy smile on the goblins' faces.
"These bunch of disgusting bastards! I hate that disgusting, creepy smile!"
"No matter. Since you all will be dying in my hand." Ava took a deep breath before she dashed towards the approaching goblins with an incredible speed that surpassed her previous speed by a large margin, and in the blink of an eye Yuan arrived in front of them.
"Now, die you disgusting piece of shit!" Ava skillfully maneuvered her dagger towards the goblins' necks.
"Phantom Slash!"
As Ava used her dagger technique the 'Phantom Slash', many translucent blue-colored phantoms of her dagger appeared out of nowhere and attacked the approaching goblins.
Slash! Many goblins couldn't even respond to Ava's attacks before their necks were severed from their bodies, the chests of the other goblins were ripped apart, and their organs flew all over the chamber.
In just the span of a few seconds, the entire group of goblins within the first chamber of the cave was mercilessly slaughtered by Ava.
More than eleven goblins lay dead on the cave floor as Ava stood in the middle of them, and the terrible stench of goblin blood swiftly filled the entire first chamber of the cave system, which roughly resembled that of rotten eggs.

"The stench keeps getting stronger, to the point that it's getting unbearable. I should probably head to the other chambers of the cave system." Ava decided to head to the other chambers of the cave system and looked around the cave searching for the entrance to the other chambers.

'Does this voice truly belong to a human, more specifically a woman? It appears to be a woman's voice pleading for help... It's just a hunch, but I hope it's not true.' Ava reflected with a heavy heart.
Once she arrived in front of the entrance, she silently took a peek at what was going inside, and once she looked inside her eyes wide open in shock.
"This is..." Ava was horrified by the scene inside the chamber, and her body trembled in anger due to what she just witnessed inside.
She saw inside the chamber, a few goblins were torturing a woman. The woman looked pale and didn't even have a tiny bit of clothes to cover her body, and the whole body of the woman was covered in wounds, and torture marks.
Despite her heartwarming plea to let her go, the goblins only let out a creepy laugh before scratching her wounded body with their rusty weapon.
"Agh!" The woman cried out in pain, feeling her wounded body being tortured by the vile goblins, and blood began to ooze out of her wounds.
Little did she know that crying for help was useless here, no one would come to save her from these vile creatures who'd been torturing her for two days straight.
'Is this how am I supposed to die?' It was the only thought that appeared in the woman's mind, as the goblins continued to torture her more.
'This is not how I expected to die... Why is God treating me this way? I've never committed a sin in my life... why?' The woman's eyes welled up with tears, as the situation was too terrible and cruel for her.
Looking at the woman's painful and pitiful expression as the goblins continued their torture on the woman, Ava was enraged and was barely holding herself back from jumping out and attacking the goblins.
However, she managed to maintain her composure in time and shifted her eyes from the group of goblins torturing the woman. She looked around the room and saw just ahead were a few more goblins standing there watching the scene with an amusing look on their faces.
One of the goblins was tall and skinny looking with a very creepy appearance, he was wearing a feather necklace and a feather hat on his head and was holding a goat staff in his hand.
And beside him were four other goblins with a large muscular build, holding a heavy wooden club in their hand.
'Beside the six small ones, there is a Goblin Mage and four Goblin Champions... This will be a tough fight, I need to rely on my speed to defeat the Goblin Champions.' Ava pondered inwardly.
