Meanwhile, Tyler and Ryan arrived near the residential area of the Monore family after walking for about 10 to 15 minutes through the bustling streets of this village.

"Look, that should be the Monore family's residence. They even have guards at the entrance," Ryan said, pointing towards the two guards standing watch at the entrance of the Monore family's manor.

"This is it, we're at the right place," Tyler nodded, and they proceeded towards the entrance of the manor.

The two guards noticed the two unfamiliar faces approaching them. They quickly became vigilant, blocking them from entering. One of the guards asked, "Halt! State your business for coming here."

"We're here to meet the village head to inform something important, and we were ordered by Lord Ivan, the personal advisor of His Majesty the king," Tyler quickly explained to the two guards, a friendly smile on his face.

'The personal advisor of the king?'

The two guards stared at the two unfamiliar individuals before them, their expressions filled with shock. Their eyes widened in disbelief.

'These two are the subordinates of the personal advisor of the king! This is a very serious matter. I have to inform Madam about this immediately,' one of the guards thought, his face taking on a serious expression.

The guard then turned back to Tyler and Ryan, saying, "Please wait here for a moment. I'll immediately inform Madam about it."

"Very well!" Both Tyler and Ryan nodded, and the guard hurriedly made his way inside the manor.

Meanwhile, Madam Layla was sitting on the plush sofa in the living hall, enjoying an afternoon tea with a relaxed expression on her face. Beside her were her two daughters, Ava and Julie.

They too were savoring their afternoon tea with their mother, a brief respite after a long, exhausting day of work. They had been assisting their mother in managing the village.

While Madam Layla was engrossed in signing numerous documents in her study room, Ava and Julie were aiding their mother in inspections and various other tasks, such as gathering data on numerous projects within the village.

"We're finally getting some time to relax after such a busy day..." Julie murmured softly as she took a small sip of tea from her cup.

Ava nodded in agreement. "Indeed! My feet are aching from running around the village collecting data. Now, I'm finally getting some relief. Although, I must say, big sis Rose is surely having fun with Yuan. How envious!"

Madam Layla looked at Ava and Julie, shaking her head with a chuckle. "Now you two know how much effort your big sister Rose puts into her work. You two felt tired in just a few days. Imagine how much your big sister has endured for so long."

Realizing this, Ava and Julie lowered their heads in shame.

Bang!

Suddenly, the main door of the residence swung open, and one of the guards stationed at the entrance rushed in, causing Madam Layla and her two daughters to frown at him.

"Madam, please forgive me for my rude behavior," the guard implored, bowing deeply in apology.

Meanwhile, Madam Layla shook her head and said, "Alright, you're forgiven."

"Thank you, Madam..." The guard slightly bowed, a smile playing on his lips.

"Now tell me the reason why you're here, did something happen in the village?"

The guard nodded and spoke, "Madam, there are two unfamiliar individuals outside claiming to be the subordinates of the personal advisor of the king. They would like to meet you, Madam, and they were saying it's very important."

"The subordinates of the personal advisor of the king of the kingdom?!"

"Indeed, Madam..." The guard nodded.

Madam Layla was shocked after hearing the guard's words, and her daughters, Ava and Julie, had wide eyes, their faces displaying disbelief, as though they had just seen a ghost.

However, the guard expected this kind of reaction from Madam Layla and her daughters, considering how much influence the king's personal advisor had. This turn of events didn't surprise him in the least.

After recovering from her initial shock, Madam Layla couldn't help but wonder, 'Why would the subordinates of such a caliber want to talk to me?'

"Mom, do you have any idea why the people of the King's personal advisor are here?" Julie asked her mother, a confused expression on her face as she placed her tea cup on the table.

Madam Layla shook her head and said with a shrug, "Don't ask, I also have no idea why they want to meet me. We will only find out their objective once we meet them."

'Sigh! I also want to know myself why they want to meet me... There is only one way to find out.' Madam Layla sighed.

Meanwhile, Madam Layla shook her head and said, "Bring them inside, I want to know what important matter they have to discuss with me..."

"As you will, Madam. I will bring them to you in a moment." The guard slightly bowed and left the scene.

A few seconds later, the guard returned to the entrance and saw that the two individuals were still there.

He quickly approached Tyler and Ryan and said, "Please come with me, Madam would like to meet you."

"Very well, lead the way." Ryan said after exchanging a quick look with Tyler, and followed the guard behind as he led them inside.

A moment later, they arrived at the living hall of the manor and saw that a middle-aged woman was sitting on a plush sofa along with two young women who had a slight resemblance to the middle-aged woman.

"Madam, here they are, I've brought them here." The guard said to Madam Layla.

"Alright, you may leave." Madam Layla nodded.

"As you wish, Madam..." The guard slightly bowed and left the scene.

After the guard left, Tyler took the initiative to speak first and said, "Madam Layla, I'm Tyler and beside me here is Ryan. We're ordered by our lord to come here to request for an audience with you tomorrow morning."

Madam Layla slightly frowned and acted as though she didn't have any idea about their Lord, and asked, "Your lord...?"

'So they are just here to request an audience with me for their Lord and nothing more, this looks really suspicious. What is their intention?' Madam Layla thought inwardly.

Tyler and Ryan witnessed the confused look on Madam Layla's face and understood that she didn't have any idea about who their Lord was.

'Sigh! It seems that I should've explained about our lord before telling our intention of coming here...' Tyler sighed.

"Madam Layla, you don't need to be suspicious of our Lord. He is not someone you should worry about. In fact, I believe you already know our lord," Tyler said to Madam Layla, observing the serious expression on her face.

"Someone I know?"

Tyler nodded with a smile, "Indeed! Our Lord is none other than the personal advisor of His Majesty the king. He and his companions arrived here about 3 hours ago and are currently staying at the Silver Moon Inn. They would like to have an audience with you tomorrow morning about a very important matter."

"Is that so? Then tell Lord Ivan that we agree to the audience tomorrow morning. Also, please tell him not to be late, as I'm very busy with the village's development and hardly have time to rest," Madam Layla said after hearing everything they had to say.

"We've seen it, and it would be a miracle if you're not busy, given the village is currently undergoing a massive development."

"Naturally. And I hope that Lord Ivan doesn't misunderstand my meaning of busy," Madam Layla replied with a smile.

"You don't have to worry about that. He has already witnessed the situation of the village, so he won't complain about it," Tyler assured.

"I'm relieved to hear this..." Madam Layla nodded.

"We've done what we came for. We'll take our leave now, Madam Layla," Ryan said with a smile, quickly stealing a glance at Ava and Julie by Madam Layla's side, before leaving the scene with Tyler.

A few minutes later, as Tyler and Ryan were navigating the bustling street, Ryan commented, "I never expected to witness two incredible beauties here. No wonder that Yuan guy is pursuing them. I'm quite jealous of him."

Tyler shook his head and replied, "Stop thinking about useless things. For people like us, dreaming of being with such a beauty is the extent of it."

"I was just praising their beauty. I don't have a death wish to offend our target by pursuing his women."

"It's good that you understand," Tyler nodded in agreement.

As they continued walking through the bustling street, they overheard people whispering about something that immediately caught their attention.

"Hey, have you heard the recent rumors about mages from the Magic Academy visiting our village?"

"Oh, that. I also heard about it. In fact, I've even seen them on the street."

"Do you perhaps have any idea why they are here in our village? If I remember correctly, they hardly visit any village, so what's gotten into them that made them come here."

"I've no idea why the Magic Academy is showing interest in our village. However, my guess is they are here to recruit some new mages with excellent talent."

"That might indeed be the case. But do you know that not only people from Magic Academy arrived in our village, but also a few officials of the kingdom arrived in our village before the mages from the Magic Academy arrived."

"I've seen them. They are currently staying at the Silver Moon Inn."

As Tyler and Ryan listened to the murmurs of the random people, their expressions turned extremely serious.

'Are they also here for the same reason as my Lord?' They both thought the same thing and looked at each other with a serious expression.

"Let's return to the Inn quickly. We have to inform Lord Ivan immediately," Tyler said to Ryan, his face tense.

"Definitely. Let's quickly inform Lord Ivan," Ryan nodded, and both of them started running toward their Inn.
