Chapter 52: Why Don’t You Enjoy Yourself?

When the Wind Sparrow entered the Wind and Thunder Trial Field, Mike followed it into the Trial Field.

Once she entered the Trial Field, he discovered many different things.

As soon as he entered the Trial Field, he saw some thick trees. These old trees were about two meters in diameter and required three adults to completely enclose them.

A large area of these trees was filled with the smell of a yellow mangrove.

The occasional beast roar from the primitive forest shocked Mike even more. “What?”

It was obvious that no one had been in this place for hundreds of years.

Mike recalled the Wind Sparrow before walking around for a few minutes.

After checking the surroundings, he realized that his stomach felt empty.

It was no surprise that he was hungry again after so long.

So, he decided to prepare a big meal.

After exploring for a few minutes, his eyes lit up.

He had just found a fruit tree here.

These fruit trees bore some strange fruits, which were red and green in color, and looked very tempting.

There was also a pool of clear spring slowly flowing nearby.

As he was picking the fruits and fetching the spring water, a few Rare Grade Fierce Beasts appeared in front of him.

Mike killed these Fierce Beasts very easily.

Although this training ground was dangerous, the advantage was that it was not lacking in ingredients.

Through his observations, he found that most of the Fierce Beasts were terrifying and many were also very powerful. With the added help of the Wind-Cloud Sparrow’s scouting, he also managed to avoid a lot of trouble.

Moreover, he had also hunted down a few fat Fierce Beasts, such as the Long-Eared Rabbit.

The Long-Eared Rabbit’s meat was very tender, smooth, and juicy.

After lighting a fire, he casually added some seasonings, which caused the meat pieces to emit a delicious fragrance.

Mike ate heartily, very quickly exclaiming that he was satisfied when he finished.

The other students in the Wind and Thunder Trial Field, however, had fallen into a dangerous situation.

After all, these newbies did not have any help from the detection skills of a Wind-Cloud Sparrow, nor did they have any strong survival skills in the wild.

All of them were covered in dust and dirt, and were in a sorry state.

“I didn’t expect that there wouldn’t even be any instant noodles to eat here. Looks like we can only eat dirt.”

“I’m so hungry. There’s nothing to eat here.”

“Is anyone there? I just escaped from the mouth of a Fierce Beast. I’m begging someone to take me.”

“I’m begging whoever the big shot will be to quickly clear the Trial Field as if he’s going home. I really want to leave this damned place.”

There were cries from different people coming from the depths of the forest, but no one could hear them at all.

Even if a few of them managed to encounter each other, they could only huddle together to keep warm, struggling to hold on here.

While the students were crying out in discomfort, treating the Wind and Thunder Trial Field as Asura Hell…

Mike laid down leisurely.

Everything was available here… Good food and drink, much better than the Andes Mountain area outside.

He decided he should have a good rest and enjoy himself.

Of course, there were still many dangers here, but he had the Wind-Cloud Sparrow to help him keep an eye on things.

After making all the preparations, Mike quickly fell asleep, snoring loudly.

… … … . . …

Three figures appeared in a void space in the Trial Field of Wind and Thunder.

The three figures belonged to Owen, Barnard, and Bania.

Here they were, sweat pouring from their heads.

Because of the opening of the entire Trial Field, they needed to constantly transfer magic into it, to maintain the stability of the entire Trial Space.

In front of the three of them, there was a large light screen.

This huge light screen showed the movements of the wind and grass in the trial ground.

Naturally, all the students who had just entered could also be seen through it.

When they probed the light screen, they were filled with hope. They believed that this year’s King class students would definitely have a student who could lead everyone out of the trial ground.

However, when the three instructors discovered that these students were all panicking and did not have much experience in dealing with enemies and night survival ability.

They all frowned together, feeling greatly depressed.

“Sigh, I didn’t expect these students to only be of the level realm. They don’t have the corresponding strength.” Barnard shook his head and said.

Right now, his mood was heavy. Was it really okay to entrust such a burden to these all young children?

“Look at Paul. It’s been so long that even the Wind Ravens can’t cooperate properly in the battle. He’s really too stupid.” Owen closed his eyes as if he would die from anger if he took another look.

“That’s right. Hall really took the Flame Python to the river to catch fish? Doesn’t he know that the Flame Python is naturally afraid of water? What a talent!” Barnard shook his head again.

He didn’t have any hope that these students would pass this assessment.

At this moment, Bania, who had been standing at the side without saying anything, now pointed at the light screen and spoke.

“Look, that’s Mike!”

The two of them followed Bania’s hand gesture and looked over.

The figure on the screen was indeed Mike.

Seeing this, everyone’s eyes lit up.

Mike was known to be someone who had almost completely wiped out the Fierce Beasts of the Andes mountain range.

With him around, it would surely be a piece of cake for them to pass the Trial of Wind and Thunder.

With this thought in mind, they became overjoyed.

However, before they could rejoice for long…

They fell into even more depression.

This was because of their observation of their class monitor of the King class. The first thing he had done when he came to the Trial of Thunder was to pluck fruits, collect spring water, and hunt prey. He then immediately began to feast in the Trial of Thunder.

From the looks of it, he didn’t seem to be here for the assessment. Instead, he seemed to be on vacation.

In the end, he actually fell asleep right away. His days were truly carefree.

How could they not feel depressed when they saw Mike in this state?

After all, their lives were now entrusted to these students.

However, just as teacher Bania was about to curse, he suddenly realized that the three of them had not told Mike the rules of the Wind and Thunder Trial Field.

Thinking of this, their depression became a little more anxious.

They finally had a promising candidate who could make it out of the Trial Field, but if they did not know the rules, how could they pass the assessment?

However, when they found out that the pet that had stopped beside Mike was actually a black sparrow, they were all shocked.

This was his pet?

How could such a small pet have any combat strength?

It probably wouldn’t be of much use!

It looked like the rumor that the Fierce Beasts outside the Andes mountain range were about to be killed by Mike was merely a rumor.

With this thought, the three of them no longer held any hope for Mike.

After shaking their heads, they no longer paid attention to this person and turned their attention to the other students who might be able to lead them back to life.

But then, a figure could suddenly be seen heading towards Mike.
