Chapter 188: This Is Going to Be a Massacre
Even though Mike was dealing with these beasts with ease, the progress was still slow.
Naturally, Mike was very impressed with the Kovo Plateau.
Mike wielded the Holy Sword of God even more vigorously.
Countless corpses of beasts fell upon the cold Kovo Plateau.
By this time, Mike and the White Spirit Dragon had arrived in front of a black hole.
Mike calmly looked inside of the black hole as he was also filled with endless curiosity.
So, when Mike raised his hand, he poured the infinite holy light into the black hole.
After waiting a while, countless pieces of corpses and blood could be seen inside of the black hole.
Obviously, these was what was left of the Fierce Beasts.
Mike sneered, then looked into the White Spirit Dragon’s eyes and said, “It seems that my attack was effective!”
The White Spirit Dragon nodded awkwardly.
Then he said, “That’s right! Let’s continue moving forward!”
Mike nodded at the White Spirit Dragon, then continued to move forward towards the Kovo Plateau.
Suddenly, a strong Demon-Level Beast could be seen walking towards Mike.
Mike looked at the Demon-Level Beast and then at the White Spirit Dragon behind him.
Then he said, “It looks like there are beasts of the same level as you here!”
The White Spirit Dragon was slightly displeased after hearing Mike’s words and scoffed, “I’m not a disgusting existence like them! Please don’t confuse me with them!”
Mike smiled easily upon hearing the White Spirit Dragon’s words.
Then, he stepped forward again and lifted the Holy Sword of God in his hand.
He waved it at the Demon Fierce Beast that was approaching.
However, this Demon Fierce Beast was obviously not as easy to deal with as the previous beasts.
After the Demon Fierce Beast received Mike’s attack, it instantly jumped into the air.
Then, as it landed, it was clear that it’s intention was to capture Mike.
Mike looked at the scene in front of him with great interest. Then, he laughed and said, “I didn’t expect you to have a temper!”
Then, he raised his hand again and emitted an infinite amount of power that was created by the Holy Sword of God.
Hundreds of Holy Swords of God rushed toward the Demon Beast.
In an instant, it formed a kind of encirclement.
The Demon Fierce Beast was completely unable to withstand Mike’s fierce attack.
It collapsed on the ground in pain from being heavily injured.
Mike looked at the scene in front of him and said.
“With my current strength, isn’t it easy for me to deal with you guys?”
As he said this, Mike pulled the Holy Sword of God out of the Demon Fierce Beast’s corpse.
The Holy Sword’s power instantly evaporated all the blood that was on the sword.
When the White Spirit Dragon witnessed this scene, all he could feel was fear and trepidation.
Then, Mike turned to the White Spirit Dragon.
“We can continue moving forward! Let’s go!”
The White Spirit Dragon subconsciously nodded. Then, the two of them quickly embarked on the following journey.
Mike cut through all the thorns along the way. Soon, he arrived at the focal point of the Kovo Plateau.
Along the way, he killed all the Fierce Beasts that they encountered.
Just as he and the White Spirit Dragon arrived at the end of the Kovo Plateau, Mike discovered the existence of a boundary here.
Mike turned his head to look at the White Spirit Dragon and asked, “White Spirit Dragon, do you feel anything unusual here?”
The White Spirit Dragon soon realized that something was wrong here when he heard Mike’s words.
So he turned to Mike and said, “I noticed it! There seems to be an even more powerful force here! Could it be that everything we passed by earlier was just an illusion?
“Do you think its purpose was to hide the secrets here?”
When Mike heard the White Spirit Dragon’s words, he gave a light laugh and said, “Isn’t that a simple matter? If I break it open to see, then we’ll be able to know, right?”
With that, Mike raised his hand again. Under the might of the Holy Sword of God, the boundary at the end of the Kovo Plateau was instantly split open by him.
A huge building appeared in front of the two of them.
Judging by the appearance of the building, it looked extremely complicated.
Several large words, “Palace of the Fierce Beasts” could be seen on the door.
Mike turned to look at the White Spirit Dragon.
The White Spirit Dragon shook its head at Mike, indicating that it did not know what it was.
Mike gave a helpless sigh.
“Alright!”
When he said that, Mike had no choice but to give up.
“If you don’t know either, then let’s go in and take a look!”
As he said that, Mike took the lead and pushed open the door of the Palace of Fierce Beasts.
A seriously rotten smell came from inside the door.
Both of them became very uncomfortable upon encountering the foul rotten smell.
There was no one guarding the first floor of the Palace of Fierce Beasts. Everything was in a dilapidated state.
Mike casually picked up a piece of wood that was covered in dust.
With a snap of his fingers, the wood quickly ignited.
Finally, the White Spirit Dragon was able to clearly see the interior furnishings.
On the first floor of the Palace of Fierce Beasts, there were countless remains of exotic beasts, and the ground was littered with scattered documents.
Countless rats and flies were freely gnawing at everything they saw.
Mike looked at the scene in front of him and immediately said, “By the looks of it, these guys probably did not leave very long ago.
“Their corpses are still relatively fresh!”
White Spirit Dragon felt waves of fear in his heart when he heard Mike’s words.
Then, he urged, “Mike, this place is very strange! Let’s leave this place!”
Mike looked at White Spirit Dragon in front of him and teased him.
“What’s wrong? Are you scared?”
The White Spirit Dragon did not reply to Mike’s teasing.
Then, Mike handed the torch that was in his hand to the White Spirit Dragon, and said, “Okay! Let’s continue to set off now!
“I want to see what kind of weirdness exists in this Palace of Fierce Beasts!”
As he spoke, Mike walked forward by himself.
When the White Spirit Dragon saw Mike gradually get further away, he immediately followed and shouted, “Mike! Mike! Wait for me!”
Just like that, the two of them walked towards the second floor of the Palace of Fierce Beasts.
The two of them came to the top of the stairs.
Mike once again smelled an even more rotten smell which made him physically ill.
Even so, his curiosity still could not stop him.
