I was still inside the Drisica Castle, and the reinforcements that the Sahhan Kingdom had sent here were already made aware of the current situation due to the efforts of the prince and princesses.

The other guards of the Drisica Kingdom were captured and put in the underground dungeon for further trials.

"I honestly thought we were all going to die, haha."

Gomchul said casually while laughing, as he wasn't talking about his own death.

"What are you being so happy about?"

I clicked my tongue seeing his enthusiastic appearance. Was there really something wrong with his head?

"I'm just happy to be alive."

'Fucking deep.'

I replied in my mind. Who knew an orc's small sentence would sound so deep, especially after everything he just went through.

"What are you going to do next?"

I went to Elexis and asked. It was rare to have a top players company, so I just tried to chat a bit.

"Since I got such a precious class, it will be a waste to laze around and not use it. I'll go back and join the army of the northern fortress, I still have my quest to complete. I might as well level up by killing some of those devil bastards."

Elexis said as she gripped her sword which was hanging around her waist.

"Fair enough... But are you not going to participate in the international competition?"

I asked, curious.

"I'll participate, obviously. I've a duty to do so for my nation."

Elexis said. She was half asian and half European, but she lived in Japan and it was one of the top gaming countries of Mayhem. It would be weird to imagine that their top player won't join the international competition.

"What about you though? Are you planning on participating too?"

Elexis asked back. Everyone knew that the second legendary class holder, Abel, was participating in the tournament. But what about the first legendary class player? The hype surrounding me had died down quite a lot courtesy of Abel.

Although there was still talk about me going on, it was nothing compared to the traction that Abel and the international competition had gathered.

"Well, I accepted the invitation recently."

I said shortly. There was no point in hiding it since everyone will know soon anyways.

"Alright then, I'll be leaving now if there's nothing else."

Elexis said and left.

'I miss Jezebeth.'

It had been a long while since I saw her, and I wondered how she was fairing.

~~Me too, I miss Jeze too! Are we going to see her?~~

The little slime chimed in, excited that he might get to see the ogre girl soon.

'We won't be seeing her anytime soon.'

I said, as a sigh escaped my mouth. Weird thoughts suddenly started plaguing my mind. What if the village was attacked again? What if something bad is going on and I am unaware of it?

'You know what? We still have some time. Let's go and check up on her.'

I changed my mind about seeing her later. I already regretted ever leaving the village only to see everyone's corpses, I wasn't going to repeat the same mistakes twice.

After a while.

I informed the princes and princesses that I'll be taking my leave for now, and would join them all after a month, or two months. Since the international competition was sure to span for at least an entire week of real time.

After that, I simply used the save point scroll, which I had set up as the Rewan village for the abyss, and my vision started glitching.

The next moment, I was standing in a place that was foreign to me.

'Did the scroll bug? But Mayhem doesn't have any bugs...'

I looked around and realised that the people that were around me were all ogres, and I even recognised a few faces.

"Lord Shura!"

I heard a young man's voice, filled with enthusiasm and respect and turned around.

"Kris?"

The guy before me was definitely Kris, I had totally forgotten how much he had grown after the evolution.

"I welcome you to your territory, my lord. It is still under construction so please don't mind the messy appearance."

My eyes unconsciously moved in all four directions, seeing blocks after blocks of houses and shops. Most of them were fully constructed while some of them were still under construction.

All in all, they looked very well constructed in Mayhem's standards, as Mayhem was set up as a mediaeval fantasy.

"What is this place?"

I asked unconsciously, with my mouth agape. On the inside, I was fully aware of what this place was, but I just couldn't believe it with my own eyes. I needed to hear a confirmation.

"This is the Rewan city that you wished for us to build, didn't you."

"Ah, yes."

I replied, half dazed. What was this guy talking about? Was it even possible to construct so many things in such a short time?

Weren't we lacking in many things? Including the blueprints.

After I had finished being amazed at the under construction Rewan city, I finally noticed the leather armour that Kris was wearing.

The white haired ogre was looking quite un-ogre-like with his current getup. Although he still had his signature horns and slightly bigger ears than a normal person, he looked absolutely stunning. Any princess could confuse him for their knight in shining armour.

'Wait, shouldn't it be knight in leathery armour for him?'

Once again, my thoughts strayed into a totally absurd direction instead of focusing on the main issue.

"How are you?"

"I'm healthy and well fed. Thank you for your concern, my lord."

Kris replied as he curtly bowed his head.

'Is this the same kid that I knew?'

Kris was, in no way, a well behaved kid. At least that was the case when he was mini Kris. But right now, the Kris in front of me was talking like a seasoned knight, as if he had always been trained to become one.

"Uh, how is everyone else? How is... Jeze?"

"Everyone is doing well. Sister Jeze is absolutely stunning."

'Oh, so you've learned to crack jokes as well?'

It was getting harder and harder for me to accept the changes in Kris, but I was still relieved to hear that everyone was fine.

"Where is everyone else then?"

I asked, since I couldn't see Kai, Jezebeth and Kylos around. There were regular guard units patrolling around and workers constructing the buildings, fully focused on their works.

"Sister Jeze and the others are in Newham."

Kris replied in a straight manner.

"Lord Shura! You're here."

I heard a familiar voice shouting towards me just when I was about to ask Kris how they were developing so fast.

I turned around and saw Kylos running towards me, and everyone else's suddenly looking towards me due to his shouting.

'So he's not with Jezebeth...'

"Lord Shura! You've returned! Miss Jezebeth has been missing you everyday."

Kylos ran up to me, his naturally loud voice bringing about a crowd with him.

"OHH! Lord Shura has returned!"

"The lord is here!"

Kylos looked buffed and healthy after his transformation.

"Oh, hey Kylos."

I greeted Kylos as I started walking towards the centre of the Rewan city, towards the building that looked like the mother of all other buildings.

"Now, tell me how did you all even manage to do so much work in such a short time? Where did you get all the blueprints and skills to do so?"

I asked the question that had been bugging me for a while.

"After you left, a mysterious old man showed up. He gave everyone a few occupational skill books and blueprints for construction. He just stayed for a day and left on the next day, leaving behind only one message."

Kris explained as we walked up to the room.

A mysterious old man?

Giving favours and leaving without asking for anything?

What was this? A Chinese web novel?

"Who exactly was this 'mysterious old man'? And what message did he leave behind?"

I asked while rolling my eyes. Kylos had ran back towards Newham Town to tell Jezebeth and Kai of my arrival.

"If I knew who he was, I wouldn't call him a mysterious old man. The message he left behind was told to be delivered to you, even though it doesn't make sense."

Kris said as we finally reached the giant mansion. From afar, it didn't look like much, but now when I was standing right in front of it, it was easily a bigger and better mansion than Egran's in Newham Town.

Again, how they built it so fast was still going through my head, even with the cliche grandpa story.

"Why would someone want to deliver a message to me? In the abyss nonetheless."

"I am not aware, my lord. But I can recite the message for you, if you want me to."

Kris said as we entered the huge mansion. The interior was so well done that I felt like I was entering a dream house. They had used the naturally bright mushrooms and flowers of the abyss to light up the insides and still maintain an aesthetic aura.

"He said that 'It is not very nice to not even pay an old man after taking a ride from him. You still owe me 10 gold coins, better pay that back when we meet again'."

"What?!"

It didn't even take me a moment to figure out who exactly this old man was after listening to that one message. As if my brain was working on full reflex.

'That old coachmen who suddenly turned into an overpowered NPC! Why did he help me again?!'
