After taking almost all of the hit, the avatar of the valkyrie faded away and Elexis was thrown back by two steps, but she still stood on her toes.
But that wasn't the end, the monster didn't give her time to rest and immediately ran for her.
Just as she tried to lift her sword, her stance wavered and she fell to the ground.

Elexis apolised and closed her eyes, waiting to be devoured by the wretched spawn.

Gomchul taunted and the monster's attention was immediately shifted to him. The monster opened its large mouth and attacked Gomchul, attempting to bite off his head.

Gomchul cried out, using the berserk skill and throwing both his axes in the wretched spawn's mouth.
'What a dumbass! Letting go of his weapon in such a situation!'
Shura panicked and ran towards Gomchul, Jane who had gone to check on Shura also followed behind him.

The monster tried to use his intimidating shout again, but he couldn't use his mouth due to the two axes stuck in it.

Diane, Francis, Jane, Elexis and most of all Ali looked at Shura in surprise.
Ali looked so surprised that his eyes almost popped out of his sockets. The only one who was grinning like a fool was Gomchul, who was happy that his axes were stuck in the monster's mouth and now Shura was back in form!
He had already seen Shura use magic before so he wasn't as shocked as the others.

Shura shouted and the small vortex in his hand grew into a large tornado and engulfed the wretched spawn that had just freed himself from the vines.
