"I heard the teleportation circle to the Drisica Kingdom got blocked."

After the group was finally done preparing, everyone came out to greet the emperor one last time before moving out.

"Well, that was expected."

I said as it wasn't really shocking. After getting caught colluding with the demons, there was no way that the king would not block the teleportation circle there.

"Then, how will we go?"

The pale faced seventh prince, Ali asked. There was no way he could survive going on foot for such a long distance with his disease.

"I am still surprised at the odd bunch that you've pulled out. Well… I am still happy I guess?"

Tobias said in admiration. He couldn't believe that Shura had managed to coax out the most ambitionless people into this event. The only person in the group that made sense to him was Diane, the third princess.

"Well, I'd take you all in my car… But I don't think that seven people would fit in. Not to mention the seventh person…."

Everyone stared at Gomchul, who scratched his head embarrassedly.

'What are you getting all fidgety for?'

I scoffed and looked at Tobias. I was sure he could help us, especially considering the fact that the seventh princess's physical health wasn't all too well.

"Alright, I'll introduce you to little old Jumbo."

'Jumbo? Is that an elephant?'

I couldn't help but think.

Royal Family Garage

'That's no elephant.'

What stood in front of Shura was a black-coloured van. Not only was it spacious to the point of being called a walking house, it was also magnificent looking. The design and interior spoke of its monstrosity. It was heavily armed and looked like nobody could force their way into it.

"This is the Taurus… or so the inventors of it like to call it. It was built by the best magic engineers of the empire. And its blueprint was made by Sir Harvic himself."

'Sir Harvic… Wasn't he a legendary mechanic or something?'

No wonder this monster looks so threatening.

What shocked Shura more was the rating.

[Epic II]

An Epic II rated vehicle meant that it was the pinnacle of all that the central continent had to offer.

Getting something above normal in vehicles and such things was already a miracle.

'Isn't this one of father's most priced vehicles? How could he just….'

'Wait, don't tell me that this Shura would suddenly be allowed to compete for the throne, right? Father is treating him better than his own children!'

'This guy… what did he even do to gain father's favour.'

Every one of the princes and princesses had their own thoughts crazily swirling around in their head, unable to wrap their heads around the situation.

'Hmph. My lord, Amazing.'

Everyone except for the orc. He proudly snorted to himself. He was in the hands of such a capable man. His future was surely going to be bright.

"Isn't this too much? This thing must be ….super special."

Shura said as he hesitantly looked back and forth between Taurus and Tobias.

The reason it was named Taurus was obvious due to the two curved horn-like things coming out of the van.

"Haha, no. Surely this wasn't made for it to rot here, was it? This is its most appropriate purpose. Not like I'm giving this to you permanently. You've to return it back once the quest is done."

"Of course, it was like this!"

Shura said out loud in displeasure.

"What was like this?"

"Nothing."

'Of course I wasn't getting something that could be worth at least a hundred million just like that. Hah!'

Shura laughed at himself for being silly for even expecting something.

"Anyways, if everyone is ready, then we should leave as soon as possible!"

Shura said, since he needed to hurry and finish the first phase of the quest. He had already accepted the invitation for the tournament, so it'd be very weird if he doesn't show up due to some quest.

"I'm all ready, ask the others and let's go."

"Me too, I am ready too."

"Let's go, why are we even wasting time."

Everyone except the quiet seventh prince replied, and then the emperor gave his permission to move on to the battlefield.

It was an invasion mission with just 7 people. These people had to assassinate or capture the king of Drisica Kingdom and then take over the kingdom without getting caught. From there, they can control the 50,000 strong army that is already on standby there, and use it to give backup to the fortress.

"Where is General Elexis? I don't see her."

Shura pointed out. They were ready to move out, but the person who was the expert in the army was missing.

"Haha, she'll be waiting outside the capital city. She's currently speaking up with the guards there to make them more vigilant about invaders."

Tobias said with a smile, like his empire wasn't currently being invaded by the devils.

'He just doesn't consider them a threat, to the point that he's using them as guinea pigs for his kids. Tsk tsk! Just how strong is he?'

Shura clicked his tongue and took the key card for the Taurus.

Opening the giant door, he couldn't help but be impressed. He started receiving notifications that made him realise just how amazing the Taurus was in reality.

Even with its huge size, its max speed was way more than the Sahhan's Eagle.

"Alright, hop on kids."

"..."

Shura said without thinking, feeling like a bus driver for kids. Everyone including the emperor stared at me and then the emperor ended up chuckling, much to my relief.

'Imagine dying after getting such a big quest just because your tongue is faster than your brain.'

Shura sweated just thinking about it. Without saying anything, everyone slowly climbed in one by one. It was surprising how easily the two meter tall and bulky Gomchul fit inside it.

"Alright, put on yo seat belts, it's time to roll."

"Seat belts?"

"Well, it's something to protect yourself against accidents… like a belt."

"Not like it'd save you from dying if you fell off a cliff."

"..."

Tobias's point weirdly made sense. In our world, the seat belt was made for accidents against other cars, and the bumps from an emergency brake. In this world, the chances of falling off a cliff were higher than bumping into another car.

—-VROOOOM!

And just like that, the engine of the giant van roared, and I slowly drove it out of the palace.

~~Master, please take me out. Please Please Please!~~

The little slime begged Shura. He wanted nothing more than to see the world, so listening to the talks of the others, he couldn't help but want to come out.

'Alright, might as well expand your horizons and thank your awesome master.'

Shura said smugly and took Drew out of the pet inventory.

"Oh ho, if it isn't Drew. How are you, little boss?"

Shura looked surprisingly at Gomchul, the orc who barely talked to him. How was he talking to Drew like he was his underling?

"Yo Gomchul, ma man. How're ya doing bro, everything alright? Got any chicks yet?"

"..."

Shura stared speechlessly at Drew.

'Where did he even learn to talk like that?'

Drew and Gomchul have had barely two or three encounters, but it seems like they've talked more than Shura had imagined.

"Oh my, look! A talking Slime!"

Francis said in awe as he looked at the purple little slime ball.

"Slime my ass! My name is Drew and I am a primordial slime! Primordial!"

Drew snapped at Francis.

"Alright, alright. Primordial Slime, whatever that means. To think that Shura had a slime pet, you sure are naughtier than you show yourself as."

Francis gave Shura a meaningful yet smug smile, making a face that said 'I know it all, bro'.

—-Stop!

The van stopped and the door of the Van opened automatically.

"Hop on."

"Hmm."

Elexis, who had been waiting outside the city, immediately got on the van and silently walked towards a seat.

"Alright, hold tight everyone, this is not going to be a bumpy ride!"

[The Taurus was designed with utmost care, no amount of bumps will make the experience of people inside be bad.]

—-Vrooooom!

And so, the Taurus dashed out of Yvikin, the capital city of the Sahhan Empire.

"Sell this pet to me, Shura."

After an hour of continuous driving, the group had come a long way from the Capital City. Suddenly, Shura heard Elexis's voice from behind him.

Throughout the whole journey, everyone had been talking to the slime continuously. And that little ball of talkativeness didn't even get tired and talked to everyone with shiny eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Shura asked while still focusing on driving. He very well knew what she meant, but he chose to ignore it.

"I mean Drew, sell him to me."

Of course, there was no way to see the information of another's pet unless someone allowed the other to see it. But Elexis still wanted to buy a slime.

Granted, it was a slime that could talk. But it was a game and it shouldn't be rare to find another slime that could talk, or make a slime talk after feeding it some sort of potion or herbs.

"It's not for sale."

Shura said as a matter of fact, still not looking back even once.

"You can name a price."

"A thousand quadrillion dollars."

Shura said without hesitating, and Elexis embarrassedly backed off, understanding that when he meant it wasn't for sale, it wasn't simply some business tactic to increase the price.

"How long will it take to reach the Drisica Kingdom?"

"I'd say about 4 hours more till we reach the Drisica borders? I mean, this speed is real fast."

Shura replied simply. The thought that the game world was better the reality slowly started to get etched into his brain.
