Chapter 3600 Freezing II
I sensed the attack, and it was not coming from a single direction, but in all directions.
I looked at attacks carefully, and the formations activated.
A moment later; thick arcs of energy shocked out of me, while I stepped forward and moved my sword defensively.
BANG BANG BANG
As my sword moved, I heard the sounds of clashes. My energy arcs crashed against the giant freezing arcs of the enemy.
They were far from enough to destroy the attacks of energy and nor I wanted to. Those attacks lessened their momentum enough, that even if they crashed me; they wouldn't be able to do anything.
Even before they wouldn't be able to do much, other than make me take a step back, and that would have been bad, seeing the enemy is powerful.
I didn't want any of such distractions.
CLANNNG!
Once again, our blades clashed, and I began to take steps back, while giant freezing arcs began to crash against me, doing nothing more than making me feel freezing.
"You are not a simple enemy," said the Frost Deerman from the mist. "Thank you for your praise, but I won't be showing you any mercy when I will kill you," I replied with a grin and could see, how the Deerman shaking in anger.
It controlled itself and moved through the mist, before coming silently to my left and attacking me.
CLANNNG
I defended, but unlike before, it didn't give me even a single chance and attacked me again.
I was only able to take half a step when I needed to move my sword from left to right, at incredible speed.
CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG
I barely defended the attack, but it had come at me with another and then another from them.
Its attacks are fast and unpredictable.
Sometimes, he would change direction, sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes, it would use the same type of attack, sometimes it would use a different one.
It is quite hard to defend against the attack, but I am having fun. It is here; that I am showing what I have learned from a dance of ikasanovor.
I had quite surprised myself with my footwork. It is helping me a lot in dealing with the powerful physical aspect of the attack.

So, I am enjoying the battle in full, while also refining my moves, making them better.
It reminded me of my old days. I used to do such things regularly as there is no place other than a battle to refine the moves.
It also helps that we are in the mist, which had a powerful anti-soul sense effect. Other than Sky Sovereigns, nobody could see clearly what was happening inside it.
Buzz!
We were amidst the battle when my core buzzed, and two more strengthening essences came down from the core through the runes.
One is very powerful, belonging to the Jade Horn Rhinoman, while the other is from the Werewolf.
Even with the ravenous appetite, my body and soul having problems absorbing essences fast enough. Thankfully, the essence of the first Grimm, is nearly at the end; it would disappear in a few seconds.
Eight seconds later, it disappeared, and immediately the quantity of other essences had increased.
My strengthening became faster, but I didn't use that increased strength and instead continued to fight with the one I had started. I, on the other hand, took complete advantage of the essence to heal injuries.
It is giving them to me at every attack and if those essences hadn't been inside me; I wouldn't have dared to fight it.
This isn't an easy enemy, and I am extremely careful in fighting against it. If I feel the need for it; I will use everything I am hiding without a moment of hesitation.
Time passed as I defended against the attack after attack. Not a single one was able to hit me.
I could tell it was getting frustrated and using everything it had to attack me, but not a single attack was enough to breach my defenses.
"You know, you should give up. If kneel down and beg; I might give you an easy death," I said, and immediately, its ice-cold eyes turned red.
It lost it.
"Bastard. I will kill you and drink your blood!" it roared and came at me with its full power. Whatever it was hiding.
It is not huge, since it is using everything it had from the beginning, but to be safe. I also used everything I had hidden, which surprised it, but also made it angry.
"Last chance, you should retreat. After this second is over; you will not get a chance," I said and to my surprise, it stopped in its tracks.
It looked at me, without saying, but I could feel it scanning the area around it with powerful soul sense.
It scanned for several seconds before it stopped and looked at hell freezing rage.
"You really have a gal to mess with me, vermin!" it roared and came at me.
The Ice blue bloodline energy of it got faint scarlet, and I felt it, instantly becoming more powerful than it had been a moment ago.
'Something had happened,' I thought, seeing the changes.
In the time it took me to think; it had appeared in front of me and swung its sword with power, that was even greater than Jade Horned Rhinoman.
'I really wish I wouldn't have met it on the battlefield,' I thought and moved while it slowed down to its shock.
Puch!
I appeared in front of it, avoiding its rapier, and pierced my sword in its chest, while looking at it in regret.
Something had happened to it, and I wanted to see it. Since my strings cover it, I wouldn't have any problem managing it, but here I am on the battlefield and couldn't take the risk.
My responsibility should be killing the enemies and not observing them.
Most importantly, if this change was sensed by the Sky Sovereign; they might interfere, and I don't want that.
