I was about to start when Ragas burst out of the water, with his whole body covered in clay.
Bang!
A moment later, the clay exploded into pieces, and like me; he took them into storage. Though I had sneakily grabbed a few of them before turning to him when I received a shock.
There are white runes covering his whole body; there is not a single place, which isn't covered by them.
They have not covered him, but also appeared around him, superimposing over each other in three later.
They had blown my mind.
These were no common runes, but ancient runes, and they are filled with power that I couldn't even understand, but it is something that could shake the world.
He looked at me with deep brown eyes. His real eyes. He had appeared in his real body, and to my surprise, he is human with brown eyes like mine and the white-blond hair.
"I am going to my abode and won't be coming back for a few hours," he said, and the gate appeared by the door and he walked inside.
The door disappeared into the wall; a thing that couldn't even damage by all-out attacks of the Earth Sovereign.
I looked for a second before taking out my abode and entering inside.
It is dangerous to summon an abode here, but what choice do I have? I couldn't harness over 1% of my power and if I tried that. My body and soul destabilize, and I will turn to the puddle.
I can't take that risk.
Inside my abode, I directly entered the practice room and sat in its center before closing my eyes.
Six and a half seconds later, I opened my eyes, and now in front of me is a multicolored crystalline sphere floating. I looked at it for a moment before taking it in my hand.
The moment I did, it shone, and the runes unravel from it and spread into my body. Seconds passed and at thirty-third second, the ball disappeared, with runes covering every part of my body.
The sphere in my hand was my breakthrough formation; I am now going to make a breakthrough.
If anyone heard it, they would laugh till the tears flowed from their eyes, but it is the only option I have.
For others, it wouldn't work, but for me, it just might.
My plan is simple; I am going to use the energy I have in my cells and soul particle to feed my core. My test shows that my core wouldn't have any problem accepting this energy.
I would need some herbal energy, which I already added into the breakthrough formation, while I was making the changes in it with my core.
I took a deep breath and started the breakthrough without waking up any time. In the next few hours, either I will succeed, or I will die.
Buzz!
The formation buzzed and my breakthrough begin.
My core changes the state and a couple of seconds later, it turned into a blob. My mood turns serious, and in a couple of seconds, I will know whether what I am trying to do is viable or not.
Two and half seconds passed, and the core spun, and with it; it pulls the herbal assesses from the formation.
A second passed and then another, but the core didn't take even a speck of energy and the dread begin to fill my heart when finally, the faint streams of energy begin to move toward the core.
This is the safest stage of the breakthrough, but to me, it is going to be the most dangerous one.
Here, I have combined two steps; it will take the herbal essences and energies together. Usually, it happens in two steps, as it is safest, but now going to happen at once.
I have to do it as there is no other choice; I hope my core will bear it.
I hope it does and takes all the excess energies present in my body and soul.
There is a lot, and it is an Earth Sovereign level of energy, which my core shouldn't touch, but it is taking them.
For a minute, everything went smoothly, before suddenly my core shook. I nearly had a heart attack.
It only shook for a second, before continuing with spinning faster and faster.
The shaking was not one-off. It shook once again three minutes later and once more five minutes later, while sucking the energies out of my body and soul like a sponge.
As for shaking, it is likely its way of adjusting it; I hope it is. I won't be able to bear it if it is any other reason.
Half an hour passed, and it is still shaking every few seconds, while rapidly pulling the energies. As it happens; multicolored smoke begins to release out of my body, before gathering into the disk I had placed in front of before the breakthrough.
This smoke is stabilizing energies.
As more energy sucks through my cells, the pressure on stabilizing energies lessened. So, they are coming out of my body, like I had designed them to be.
I am relieved to see these energies smoothly getting out of my body. It would have been terrible if they had stuck inside.
An hour passed and over 90% of my energies in me had been absorbed by my core and the rest would be in a couple of minutes.
I felt relieved seeing that, but I am ten; I am still very much in danger, which hasn't lessened much.
While my core is accepting the energy, I am still very much injured and there is a reason why it is forbidden for injured people to try any breakthrough. I hope the forbidden energy merged with my soul will help with that.
Soon, all the energy in my body and soul has been absorbed, and my core slowed down.
I looked at my cells and soul particle and what I saw couldn't help but shock me.
My cells and soul particles are glistering in crystalline light. Despite them being cracked and at the edge of collapsing, I could feel the strength of them and also their limit.
This force-feeding of energy had done many things. It had damaged them extensively, but it had strengthened them, beyond what they have been capable of achieving at my level.
It had stretched the space inside, which means my limit had increased further. Currently, I could only guess, I will have accurate data if I cross the other side, but I could tell, the increase is tremendous.
I will get enormous benefits if I am able to level up.
Thanks to the herbal sludge, I also finished up the treatment during the force-feeding of the energy. So, one could say, I have checked all the boxes of leveling up.
Though not for one second, I am thinking this breakthrough would be smoother.
The core stopped, and for a second, nothing happened, before a formation begin to appear on my skin, superimposing under the breakthrough formation.
I am quite surprised; this formation had survived the assault of the energies. I thought it would have broken into pieces, which would have brought another trouble for me.
Fortunately, it didn't.
