"You should wait till we get to the inn we'll be staying, we'll need to spend some time here" the rider spoke.
"At least it's safe," Lynx said as they arrived at their location.
A medium-sized inn beautifully decorated with flowers, the rider parked the carriage beside the inn and came down to feed the horses.
"I have a friend here, let's meet up in an hour and continue to Zenith City," the rider said.
"Okay"
Lynx was the first to the door and he pushed it open and walked inside without hesitation, the rest of them followed behind him as they were all exhausted from the journey and they hadn't even gotten to their location yet.
The inn of the inn was even more decorated than the outside and a girl stood behind the counter reading a book when the group came in.
"Welcome," the girl said as she quickly stood up.
"Do we e take separate rooms or what?" Lynx asked.
"Let's just take two rooms, we spent all night on the road, we just need to rest a little and continue forward" Alex spoke.
"Two large rooms right?" the girl asked.
"Yes for just two hours" Alex replied and they were given keys to two rooms after paying, this time Alex paid for the room because it wasn't expensive, the boys took one of the rooms while the girls took the second one.
The room was spacious and had two large beds, it had two windows, a desk, and a chair along with a small room for bathing, Lynx immediately climbed onto one of the beds and laid down.
"I miss cars and trains, and airplanes, traveling in a carriage is extremely uncomfortable" Lynx complained.
"You'll have to get used to it, we'll be doing this a lot, and mind you we'll also travel on the sea to reach the gold continent," Max said as he sat down beside Lynx.
"What if we get attacked by pirates, I'm sure they are pirates in the sea," Gabriel said with a smile.
"Why are you smiling, do you want us to be attacked by pirates?" Alex asked Gabriel.
"I've watched a lot of pirate movies and to be honest, I feel like I'll make a good pirate" Gabriel spoke.
"Yes, then after that you'll make a good meal for demons" Max chuckled.
"I've wanted to ask this question, how would we know a demon if we ever come across it, what if they look exactly like humans" Gabriel said.
"I'm sure they won't, we only have an hour or two to rest before we continue on the carriage" Alex sighed as he laid down.

'I'll need to buy some new items when we get to Zenith city' Alex mumbled to himself as he closed his eyes.
"Oh, Lynx is already asleep, not only was the ride uncomfortable, but we were attacked and spent the whole night in the road" Max spoke.
"For some reason, I'm not very sleepy, I'm going to check out the library to see if they have a spell book I can learn, now that I have an amplifier, all I need is new spells" Gabriel spoke as he stood up and left the room.
"Alex, are you still awake?"
"I'm trying to sleep" Alex muttered with his eyes still closed.
"I'm also tired, maybe I'll sleep a little"

Alex's eyes opened a little bit and he could hear Gabriel shouting, he was still sleepy so he adjusted himself on the bed and covered both his ears with his hands.
"Wake up" Alex heard again but this time Gabriel's hand landed on his back and his body jerked upward, his blood dagger appeared in his hands and he turned towards Gabriel.
"What are you doing, put the knife away" Gabriel quickly moved backward.
"Oh, sorry about this," Alex said as he yawned, he was still sleepy but at least he got a good rest.
"It's been two hours" Gabriel shouted as he slapped both Max and Lynx on their backs.
"What the heck?" Lynx shouted as he opened his eyes.
"Hehehe, stand up lazy asses, the rider is here, we still have some hours before we arrive at Zenith city" Gabriel spoke.
"Are the girls awake?" Alex asked Gabriel.
"Yes, they are already waiting, let's go" Gabriel smiled.
"You are in a really good mood, did something happen?" Alex asked.
"The library contained really good books, but only one spell was in the whole library, a wind spell"
"So you learned a new wind spell?"
"Yes, I can't wait to try it out on an opponent, I'll amplify the spell with my magic staff, it'll probably cut a beast in half"
"What kind of spell is that" Max yawned as he finally sat upright, "Wind spells are usually on the weaker side when it comes to attacking, but it's good for fleeing if you can fly"
"How are wind spells weak?" Gabriel asked.
"You can only use wind spells to fight beasts weaker than you already, if you encounter one of the blue orc that we faced for instance your wind spells would be totally useless because their skin are tough" Max spoke as they exited the room.
"You are a joy killer, you know right" Gabriel snorted.
"I'm just telling you in case, if you want you can try it out, I'm sure we'll encounter something else before we get to Zenith City"
