"You knew we were following you, wait...you led us here on purpose" they mumbled as they stepped back.
"You figured it out, but it's too late" Melissa spoke as she brought out two arrows.
Both of them stood their ground instead of going backward, Melissa was a shooter and arrows were perfect for killing silently, if they turn around and run, they might not survive.
"Damn, Alex told me not to kill anyone, I almost forgot" Melissa muttered as she returned both of her arrows into her inventory.
"You are not going to kill us?" one of them asked.
"Both of you are level 16 players, killing you is the same thing as wasting my strength, and since you are going to die for real I'm not even sure I'll gain XP from killing you, but you slapped me earlier" Melissa spoke as she walked towards them.
"Just because you are an archer you are acting like a hotshot, what level are you?" the guy who slapped Melissa said as he held his sword.
"I'm not sure you'll know me, but I'm huntress, rank 5"
"Yeah, you are rank 5, who told you any of the top players are archers, I'm good at close combat so try not to get too close" the guy spoke.
"Hey dude, what if she's telling the truth, we don't know any of the top ranks, what if she's one of them?" the other guy asked.
"Don't be fooled by his bitch, what's a top ranker doing in the Bronze Continent, she wants you to be scared of her" the guy said.
"I'm very sorry for disturbing you, he was the one that slapped you so can I go?"
"You wuss, what are you talking about, this bitch here isn't..."

Melissa charged towards the guy and before he could react she already swung her bow towards his head.

The bow hit his head before he could fathom what was happening falling him to the ground, his friend close to him fell to the ground from shock, he quickly stood up and dashed away as the saw the look on Melissa's face.
"I'll show you what this bitch can do" Melissa mumbled with a smile on her face.

"I hope she didn't kill any of them" Alex chuckled as he walked back to where Melissa was.
The guys who attacked him were swordsmen and he easily dealt with them till they ran away.
"Hey Melissa, you are already done," Alex said as he saw her.
"I hope you got your revenge before they ran away?" Alex asked.
"I did and besides he didn't run away, he's over there," Melissa said as she pointed toward where the person who attacked her was.
"Melissa, I'm not sure he's moving, did you kill him!" Alex asked as he walked towards the guy on the ground.
The guy was unconscious on the ground, Alex could tell he was badly beaten for him to be in this state, but as long as he was not dead Alex didn't care, if was their fault for choosing the wrong people to rob.
"Let's head back, I'm already sleepy" Alex yawned as he spoke.

Both of them reached the inn after a few minutes of walking, they already paid for their stay so they walked toward their room.
Alex opened the door to his room and walked in, the crystal gave light to the room and Amy wasn't there anymore, she must have left as he was away.
Alex walked towards the bathroom and dipped himself in the water, the bathing items Amy brought were still there so Alex washed himself before stepping out, he used the crystal to purify the water before walking towards the bed.
"I wonder if Amy is gone, I would have told her to train me more, or maybe I should try on my own if I can get it right"
Alex closed his eyes and focused, to use magic he needs to learn to draw Mana from his Mana core, if he can draw Mana from his core then the next step is learning spells, Alex could control the Mana in his body.
"Arrgh... it's not working" Alex mumbled as he closed his eyes again to focus.
"I'm not even sure I know what I'm doing, maybe because I'm not a Mana I can't draw Mana, maybe I should meet with Jessica before I learn the city" Alex mumbled as he lay on the bed.
Alex lay on the bed and after a few seconds he was already asleep, the door to his room opened and Amy stepped inside, she had been told that Alex was back so she rushed to the room but he was already asleep.
"I'm sure he's tired, I should leave him alone but...I can't" Amy mumbled.
She took off her clothes and walked towards the bed, she raised the sheets and slid underneath, Alex only wore his pants so she placed her hands on his chest.
Alex's strength and body build were naturally increasing the more he trains and participate in fights.
Amy kept touching his chest and after some minutes even she fell asleep with her hands on Alex's chest.

Alex opened his eyes and he was in a familiar location, the cave where he and the sixth held conversations but the sixth wasn't there.
"Did you call me here?" Alex shouted but got no reply.
"This is strange, why isn't he here" Alex mumbled as he looked around the cave, a path was there, and Alex quickly walked towards it.
'This was supposed to be a trance and we were supposed to be in my head, then why is there a path leading to another room' Alex wondered and took the path walking slowly.
"I know I'm not supposed to be afraid but what is this feeling" Alex mumbled inwardly, something was telling him not to take the path but he kept walking forward and finally he was reaching the end when he heard voices.
A loud voice that was able to shake the cave reverberated and Alex stopped in his tracks, it felt like people were having an argument in the other room but he still didn't know why he was there.
Alex kept walking and finally reached the other room, he could see five figures seated talking to each other.
"Before that, the humans of this era are too weak, do they have what it takes to defeat the demon Lord, most of the mages have no concept of magic, is the world really safe in their hands?" one of the figures asked.
Alex now knew where he was, but he still couldn't believe it, the figures seated were the elder gods and they were talking about humans.
"We have no choice but to hope the humans and the chosen ones are enough to defeat him"
"Hope on humans...since when do we put our hope on humanity, we are supposed to be protecting not hoping on them"
"If the humans aren't able to defeat him then we'll make another plan, we already bought ourselves time by taking them to the other world"
"Then we should get ready, to do what we should have done from the beginning"
"You mean to bring the demon Lord to the real world, bringing him to the real world is like bringing him closer to his goals, we all know what he wants" another spoke.
"The demon Lord seeks to sit among us gods, he already has the artifact, all that is left is the blade, but we have no idea where the blade is"
"Since he has the artifact, he might locate the blade" the female spoke.
A dark space rippled open close to where the gods sat and all of them turned towards there like they were waiting for the portal to be opened.
"Elder Gods..." an eerie voice spoke through the portal, no one walked through the portal but the voice of the person could be heard.
"Xavier, the human who came to be known as the demon Lord, to what do we own this pleasure" one of the gods spoke.
"It seems I picked a good era to break out of the seal, the humans of the world are beyond weak, when I'm done with this world I'll move to the real world and lay waste to all who stand in my way, including your avatars"
