Alex chuckled softly but immediately stopped as he saw the look on Lynx's face, he wasn't joking when he told Alex the NPCs should be killed.
"Why would we kill them?"
"So you are going to waste the money you got, you know these NPCs are not relevant to your success right, they are living their lives here but we are players aiming for the top, did they seduce you?" Lynx asked.
"No, why would you think that"
"An NPC tried to seduce me once, I had sex with her but I eventually killed her and besides there is an achievement for having sex with an NPC that isn't a sex worker"
"There are sex workers here?" Alex asked.
"Of course they are, but you are changing the topic, you know you won't gain anything by doing this, then why are you doing it, I know you are not a kind person so why?"
"How do you know I'm not a kind person, I don't actually have a reason for doing this" Alex said.
"Back then in the arena, you killed a hundred players, and I know that isn't your first time killing players, the more you kill players, the more enemy you have, and all those players you killed would try to hunt you down when they are back"
"I know that, but the girls really didn't seduce me, I'm just helping them out, and besides it's my money, not yours"

"150,000 blue coins each, so both of them need 300,000 blue coins to get into the academy"
"What!!! and you are just going to hand it to them, wow...you are really generous, so how much are you going to give to your friends, if you can get NPCs that much it should be no problem giving the rest to your friends" Lynx said.
"You are pissing me off, even though you are a marksman, you can't win me in a one on one duel," Alex said.
"I'm not looking for a fight cause I know you are stronger, I'm just telling you what you are doing is unreasonable, think about it, you won the 1M prize in the arena and these girls found you and ask to pay for their academy"
"What if you didn't win, would they have asked the person who won...the answer is yes, maybe they were programmed to rip off players who win the arena, these NPCs may seem real but they are not" Lynx continued.
"I know they are not and we should stop talking about this before I get angrier, I know it's unreasonable to be wasting that amount of coins on NPCs but it's none of your business so piss off," Alex said and faced away.
"I'm just trying to save your coins so you wouldn't spend them unnecessarily" Lynx spoke loudly this time.
"Are you crazy" Alex shouted as he held Lynx's clothes.
"What is wrong?" Gabriel shouted trying to separate both of them when suddenly their carriage hit a bump on the path.
"What was that" the rider mumbled as he turned around to see what the carriage bumped into but before he could turn around a loud bang was heard and their carriage crashed into the ground.
Alex and his friends who were in the back were thrown off the carriage and the horse carrying the carriage was so frightened and kept running forward.
The rider was the only one still in the carriage and as soon as he knew the situation they were in, he quickly jumped on his horse and disconnected the carriage enabling the horse to run faster.
'I'm very sorry guys, but I'm not really a fighter, I hope you survive' the rider mumbled as he rode away on his horse.
The group had gone a long way so they were miles away from the city, if they were on foot it would take them a day and half to reach their current location.
All of them quickly stood up from the ground as they knew they were in trouble, from the forest some men stepped out.
They all wore ragged black clothing and tied red headbands on their forehead, their faces were hardened and their murderous eyes certainly emitted danger.
The group stood in the middle as these men surrounded them, they were outnumbered and certainly outmatched, the men all held weapons in their hands, swords, daggers, and clubs.

Alex looked at the stats of the men in front of them, none of them were above level 20 so they had a chance if the battle was one on one but they were easily outnumbered by the men so they had no choice.
Alex used his eyes to count the men and they were 28 men, all of them stood there without speaking a word till another bandit walked out of the forest.

"Now now...what do we have here" the bandit leader Zen spoke.
"Three beauties and four young boys, where were you traveling to in a rush, if it wasn't for our extremely skilled marksman we wouldn't have caught you guys," Zen said still laughing.
"What do you want from us, we don't have any money or weapon as you can see" Lena spoke.
"Money or weapon, we don't really need them cause we have enough, but we are in need of beauties like you to quench our taste," Zen said and Lena walked backward.
"Don't be afraid, we aren't monsters" Zen said.
"Then I have another question, what are you going to do with us?" Alex asked.
"I have no use for you guys so you would be killed, but don't worry, I'll be painless," Zen said and raised his hands.
