A big commotion broke out within the True Elites guild as Max appeared within the guild grounds unannounced.
The murmurs and discussions prompted Neatwit to come out at once as he marched out of the main building with his sword in hand, ready to fight any invader.
" Max? Why are you here?" Neatwit asked puzzled to see that it was Max who was the reason behind the commotion as Max could not help but scratch his chin and reflect on his poor judgement to infiltrate the guild.
" Sorry to bust in unannounced- I'm just here to meet my old teacher Sir Jhonny" Max said as his statement only fuelled the murmurs even more as Max visited the True Elites HQ to meet Sir Jhonny and not guildmaster Neatwit.
" Alright- , if you want you can borrow the guild conference room and once your private business is taken care of, you can come meet me in my office" Neatwit said as he played the situation as calmly as possible and left the area.
The other guild members watched on as some started to screen record and others started to click photos as it was not everyday that one got to see the Supreme Lord live in action, however, Max was not bothered by this attention.
" Shall we head inside?" He asked Sir Jhonny who shook his head and took flight instead.
Max had to quickly follow behind him as the two escaped planet Radiance and started to float into space as for a good hour or so, Sir Jhonny said nothing but rather kept flying at a constant pace.
Understanding that his childhood teacher was eccentric, Max said nothing and followed behind him patiently as eventually sir Jhonny stopped on a floating asteroid in the middle of nowhere as he stood upon that rock and whipped out his cane.
" We shall talk boy, only if you manage to garner my respect" Sir Jhonny said as Max found the idea of battling his mentor ridiculous, however, the seriousness in Sir Jhonny's eyes told him otherwise.
" Wait really?" He asked as Sir Jhonny released 10 deadly accurate Kunai knives towards Max's vitals, however, they passed by harmlessly through Max's body since they did not have an energy signature over them and were purely a physical attack.
" Very well-" Max replied as he shifted his mentality from that of a docile student to that of the Supreme Lord, as he flared his aura and summoned Sanguis.
Max expected Sir Jhonny to keel under his aura alone, however, Sir Jhonny pushed back with a monarch aura of his own as it was only at this moment that Max realised that his opponent was also an uncrowned monarch.
" You always manage to surprise me, Sir Jhonny" Max said as he used the move [ Blood Explosion ] to cover sir Jhonny's surroundings with small droplets of blood before exploding them all at once.

Countless explosions rocked the entire space around the two, however Sir Jhonny was unaffected by these blasts as he turned into his void form and managed to evade the attacks while being scot free.
Max, who had expected Sir Jhonny to go into his void form, used [ Dimensional Walk ] to meet his opponent in his own realm as the moment he stepped into the fourth dimension, he found sir Jhonny's physical body to be in the same plane as he moved inside the fourth dimension to attack him.

Max tried to punch his teacher bare knuckle and up till the last second, Sir Jhonny did not seem like he detected Max within the fourth dimension, however, at the last possible second he moved back from the fourth dimension to the real world making Max's punch miss.

The second that Max returned to the third dimension, coming out of his Dimensional Walk, he was met with an energy laced kick by Sir Jhonny as that attack connected squarely with his jaw making him disoriented as he lost a little HP.

In a daze, Max created a gap between himself and Sir Jhonny as this was the first time since reaching tier8 that Max ever took damage in a fight.
It was a minor damage, and by absorbing the pool of blood in his surroundings Max recovered almost instantly, however, he received the damage nonetheless which was a much needed reminder for him that he was not perfect.
Lately, after reaching tier8 and crushing the three angel brothers alone, Max began to feel like he was untouchable under the stars, however, this kick from his former mentor was a reminder that if he underestimated his opponent, even he was not untouchable.
" Alright Sir Jhonny, I won't hold back then" Max said as he activated [ Mind Reader ] and [ Future Sight ].

In his future sight, Max began by reading Sir Jhonny's mind, however, never in his life had he witnessed an opponent as bizzare as Sir Jhonny.
Over his head, instead of any battle thoughts or strategy were blocks of text that made no sense at all.

Max could not understand how to even process this information, or if his opponent was even serious about this fight?
Nonetheless, he drew out his sword and started to attack Sir Jhonny in close proximity, where Sir Jhonny appeared to be in a visible disadvantage as Max's superior speed and strength seemed to be enough to suppress him.
For the next one minute, Max was able to land one in every three strikes upon Sir Jhonny as he managed to slice apart his sleeve, scratch his immaculate shirt and even damage his branded innerwear along his thigh.
Despite the barrage, Sir Jhonny's thoughts continued to be in a disarray as he seemed to not be thinking about the fight at all.
' This kid is really good!' he eventually thought just as Max's future sight was about to reach his limit before using a suicidal move called [ Unavoidable Dagger Plunge ]
Just as the move suggested, it was unavoidable and at the cost of having a sword plunged into his own gut, Sir Jhonny plunged ten daggers into Max's chest depleting his HP by a full 40%.

With the two minutes up, Max now knew how exactly to approach the fight against Sir Jhonny as he unsheathed his sword and attacked him as practised.
Just like in his vision, Max managed to slowly but surely inflict damage upon Sir Jhonny who was no match for Max in close quarters.
His eyes seemed unfocused and hazy at first, however, after his HP went below 70% mark, his eyes turned focused as he thought the same thing that he thought in the future sight which was - ' This kid is good'
At that moment, Max instantly stepped back and used [ Void Neutralisation ] as sir Jhonny used [ unavoidable dagger plunge ] however, it was successfully neutralised, much to sir Jhonny's surprise.
" You lose-" Max said as he pointed his sword at Sir Jhonny's throat, making the assassin raise an eyebrow.
" Do I?" He asked as he suddenly disappeared from Max's sight and appeared behind his back with his dagger pointed at Max's spine.
This move was executed within fraction of a fraction of a second, such that even Max had no chance to gauge or counter it.
The move was called [ Position Reversal ] and it was a move that had only a 3% probability of activating when used.
However, if successful, it instantaneously switched the position of the one who was being intimidated and the one who was to be intimidated and Sir Jhonny being the lucky bastard that he was successfully activated the 3% probability saving face.
Max who did not understand what happened, felt bottomless respect for his opponent as he felt like he had been enlightened by this bout, however, Sir Jhonny thought otherwise.
" Yes it is your win. If you were not intimidating me and were after my head, I would be dead right now.
However, always bind your enemies when you are intimidating them.
If they are full of vitality and of any capability, then giving them so much time can enable them to reverse the situation in a heartbeat.
Don't make this mistake twice" Sir Jhonny said as he acknowledged Max's victory but also reprimanded him at the same time.
" Yes teacher" Max said with a hearty laugh as he felt like in the entire universe, Sir Jhonny was the only one who still treated him like a growing kid and Max somehow felt it to be endearing.
" You have grown stronger than me. Be proud, you're the first one after your brother to be able to outgrow me" Sir Jhonny said with a heavy sigh as Max felt his chest swell with pride at this praise.
While the universe did not understand the greatness of this man, Max knew that if Sir Jhonny really put his mind to it, there was not a single entity in this universe that he could not assassinate, including all the monarch's.
