Chapter 977 Mental Stability
Within a day's interval of one another, Odin presented Max with the seed of destruction and the Queen came back with the seed of Creation.
Odin was visibly pale as he handed over the seed of destruction to Max and warned him to not touch it with his bare hands, while the queen seemed unaffected from carrying the seed of creation but still warned Max about touching it recklessly.
Max had not expected to get the seeds so easily in his hands, however, apparently the waves that these two seeds created made their discovery that much easier as luckily, both objects were apprehended from their very first users in the universe before knowledge about their existence became far spread.
According to Odin, the seed of destruction was extremely corruptive and filled one with nothing but the primal desire to end the life-cycle of objedts.
It did not matter if the object in question was organic or inorganic, if the seed of destruction felt like it could be destroyed, it would prompt it's master to destroy it.
On his way to Dombivli, Odin had to resist the urge to destroy entire suns for no apparent reason as well as prevent himself from destroying his own artefacts like his prized sword and his robes.
The longer one stayed in contact the worse the contamination became as towards the end of his journey to Dombivli, Odin felt his mood deteriorating and his mental state becoming unstable.
This sort of corruptive influence was 3 times stronger than what a seed of knowledge was capable of and hence as per Odin's opinion the seeds left behind by Rudra although only two in number, had the same corruptive influence on an individual as someone using 6 seeds at once.
With the corruption growing worse with time, Odin no longer felt too sure about Max taking in the seed of destruction in his body as according to him there was a very real threat of Max going insane if he did.
The queen had achieved emotional sentience. She did not have any objective emotions and hence the seed of creation could not influence her conscience at all, however, from what the queen evaluated, the seed of creation had a more aggressive personality compared to the seed of life and it wanted it's user to constantly bring to the universe variables that did not exist before.
According to the queen, using its power would grant Max the ability to bring any creature from his imagination to life and if used properly it could also help him execute any spell that he could clearly think about.
It was a broken opportunity where if Max mastered the seeds he could become a warrior that was only bound by his imagination and nothing else, however, the queen could not comment on the corruptive effects of the seed of creation as it was something that only beings with emotions could evaluate.
Nonetheless, Max praised both Odin and the queen for their good work as he began wondering how he could integrate these seeds into his body and whether or not he should take both of them inside himself at once or should he master one force before the other.
It was times like these where Max genuinely missed Rudra and his guidance as his brother always had the correct knowledge to give him under such circumstances.
Up Till this point, Max had not realised it but he was always standing on the back of a giant like his brother, as many of his accomplishments would not have been possible if giants like Angakok, Shakuni, Dracula and Bavuma did not pave the way for him.
However, becoming the Supreme Lord was the end of that road and from here on out Max was on his own.
The method to tame the seeds of creation and destruction was an issue he needed to solve on his own as well as ensure that he could create a second core with its strength while not suffering mental corruption.
Max wanted to grow stronger fast, however, he never wanted to become a borderline lunatic like his brother did when he was trying to bring the seeds of power under control.
Max was all that the Rajput family had to rely on for the moment and he could not afford to go looney on them as if he did then there would really be no-one left in the universe to stop his madness.
Max knew that the seeds needed to be absorbed with mental stability being made the top priority, which was why he was in no hurry to absorb it until he could feel reassured that he would be able to control it.

( Meanwhile Asiva )
Asiva had grown more protective of Kremeth Jr after he suffered a mental setback, to the point where she would not leave him out of her sight for even ten full minutes.
Once his mental state returned to the levels of an average seven year old, he was required to restart his combat training with Zippo and DarkSorrow as his teachers, however, Asiva never let him do these trainings unsupervised and completely prohibited any injuries to the head.
Despite Kremeth displaying excellent potential, which was even better than when he was learning these things the first time around, Asiva kept protecting him like a hawk to the point where it was turning into a slight nuisance.
Despite his brilliance, Kremeth was never pushed to his limits in combat and never trained as hard as he should be which frustrated Zippo greatly.
He could understand the reason behind Asiva's protectiveness, however, overprotected children only ended up as spoiled brats and never became great warriors.
If Kremeth was to be groomed as the next Vampire King and not as some weakling, then his current growth direction was a joke and needed urgent intervention from his father, The king.
