Chapter 962 New powers and the future of the house
( A few days later, The Rajput Capital )
It took Max a few days after his tier promotion, to settle all domestic affairs and have the free time to actually explore what his control over the queen granted him.
To his joy, control over the queen meant control over the entire universal warehouse and all her near infinite knowledge for which Max was very glad.
He did not explore it right away, since he no longer needed to rush for such things and could take all the time in the world to learn, but he did utilise the queen's powers to fill up the vampire kingdom's coffers.
Max knew that if he flooded the market with too much supply of gold, he was bound to start a rapid inflation, however, while he did not intend to rapidly inflate the value of goods and services, he did find a need to ease the burden of taxation on the commoners who had suffered a lot and had hence decided to supplement the gap in income using the queen.
Since the queen could generate an almost infinite amount of money, Max could just think about the most absurd number of gold coins and they would still be created and deposited in his royal vault.
But since Max understood that the value of a product was linked to its rarity, he understood that printing too much gold was also not good for the market and hence showed restraint.
Max also explored the combat functions of the queen and how he could use her for espionage, detaining an opponent and eliminating anyone he wanted to be eliminated.
It was a hack, almost like an infinite power glitch and the first thing that Max did using it was to put a tail on Odin, as he wanted the queen to monitor the movements of that guy.
Not only was Odin slippery, but Max identified him as the biggest known threat in the universe and hence wanted to always keep an eye out on him.
He also asked the queen to look out for Mira and their unborn child and to not target that child like she targeted Mira at birth even if it was born with some groundbreaking power.
Overall, Max realised that having control over the queen really did make one the supreme lord of the universe as there was nothing that one could not achieve with the queen under their command.
All petty tricks, all weapons, all blueprints, all knowledge, everything that was recorded and unrecorded in the history books was at the tip of Max's fingers and he was the only one who could access it.
The queen was so ridiculously broken that if Max asked for the strengths and weaknesses of any opponent or asked her to create the best battle strategy to face an enemy, she could provide an entire visual battle simulation to Max which was a league above Drax's capabilities.
The queen was so strong that Max could not wrap his head around as to how his brother managed to defeat her, as the respect he had for his brother increased fivefold once he realised how hard this mission was.
" Queen what is the probability that my brother can beat the perfect warrior on his own without my help?" Max asked out of curiosity as the queen's answer stunned him
" Without your help supreme lord Max, Rudra Rajput has a 0.0003% chance of success, however, with your help it's significantly better at 0.1%" the queen said as Max could not help but be stunned.
0.1% was still one in a thousand probability which was extremely low, everything considered.
" Really? Just how strong is the perfect warrior?" Max asked, wondering how legendary did an opponent need to be if even Rudra Rajput's probability of success while facing him was as low as 0.0003%.
" There is insufficient data to conclude for sure, however, the perfect warrior has no recorded obvious weakness.
He is the model for the ultimate warrior in the universe" the queen replied as Max could not help but feel his blood pump excitedly at the thought of facing such an opponent someday.
"Ha- no weaknesses. What a ridiculous concept" Max said as he dreamily looked towards the heavens wondering what the celestial realm looked like and how his brother was doing.
" Supreme Lord Max, I must remind you that the monarch meeting is tomorrow, while the news about supreme lord Rudra ascending has already broken out, the rumours have not yet been confirmed.
If you wish for me to pose as Supreme Lord Rudra in tomorrow's meeting, please tell me to do so-
Or if you feel ready, you can take the mantle up yourself " the queen said as Max waved her off
" Did my brother instruct you to say that before he left?" Max asked as the queen replied with an emotionless " Indeed"
" There's no need for you to pose as my brother, I'm already tier8. I'm sure he instructed you to do this as a contingency if I did not ascend, but it's okay. I'll take over tomorrow's meeting on my own" Max said as the universal queen took note of his orders and quietly left his side.

( Meanwhile Jake )
Jake was hit the hardest from Rudra's ascension as suddenly he began feeling pressure as the new male head of the family.
His mom started to ask him about financial decisions, Kartikeya came to ask him for permission to attend events, whereas Amy began asking him for allowance.
This was a sudden shift and although Jake did not crack under the pressure, he did not like it either.
Their mothers were devastated following Rudra's ascension as they once again had to deal with the trauma of him not being around and Jake had to console them as well.
He did not resent his father for ascending, however, he could not help but feel that his father's family planning was poor as hell.
Till he was around, Jake saw no flaws in Rudra, however, lately Jake began to realise that the job of the head of the family was not only about ensuring the security of the family members or ensuring that their financial needs were met, but there were many more nuances that needed to be balanced.
Rudra was an excellent warrior who was at the front whenever the family needed to be protected or anyone of them were bullied, however, apart from that, he was not exactly the model father.
The only reason why he raised them kids was because their mother argued with him and gave him no choice as Jake was sure that if their mother did not do that, Rudra would never stick around for as long as he did.
The man's only passion in life was to fight and those were exactly the morals he had passed down in Kartikeya who wanted to become exactly like his father.
Yes, protecting your loved ones was important but what was equally important was to be there for them and guide them through small and big choices to make them independent and capable.
All the morals, all the social skills inculcated inside them were from their mothers while Rudra only taught them how to kill as Jake realised that if he were ever to become a father, he would be a better one than Rudra and actually stick around to be a positive family figure.
Until then, he decided to guide Kartikeya to the best of his abilities and not let Amy become a thrifty spender as he could notice that her addiction to luxury items was increasingly growing stronger by the day.
Although it was a headache, Jake decided to come through on all the shortcomings that their father had and become a true family head in all sense and purposes.
Jake knew that as far as protection was concerned, their uncle Max would not let anyone harm a hair on their bodies, however, just like the elder brother, uncle Max was also a battle maniac.
Uncle Max also did not appreciate family as much as he needed to and it seemed to be a recurring trait in the Rajput family.
So far, Kremeth Jr was young and if guided correctly, Jake felt that he could break that curse and be a better version of their ancestors as he made it his mission that just like Kartikeya he would not let Kremeth become a mindless battle freak either.
Jake felt like it was already too late to change Kartikeya as while he could debate his tendencies, he could not change them enough for there to be a fundamental shift in his behaviour, but as a result of Kremeth suffering brain damage, that child was like an open slate and he still had time to be saved from the foundational level.
It was a tough challenge, and Jake was sure that battle crazed maniacs were bound to remain a staple of the Rajput house even in the future, but as long as he could create even a single compassionate Rajput in every generation, he felt confident that the foundations of house Rajput as a whole would remain sturdy and the house would thrive for generations to come.
